Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 616: Chapter 616: Take out my whip

“I only came today to tell you this, and nothing else is my concern. If you want to get engaged, go ahead, I won’t marry you. You can get engaged and you can get married!”

Having said that, he turned and walked away.

Old Master Li’s calm expression finally cracked, and his hale and hearty pupils suddenly narrowed, as the Dragon Head Crutch banged heavily on the ground, “Insolence!”

In response, Li Beijue didn’t even turn his head!

This was the first time Old Master Li had been defied like this. His face flushed with anger as he commanded in a deep voice, “Close the door! I did not say anyone could leave; I’d like to see who can!”

“Yes.”

...

A dozen bodyguards swiftly surrounded him, and the villa’s door slammed shut!

“Step aside!”

Li Beijue’s handsome face darkened as he brushed aside the bodyguard blocking his path and reached to pull at the door, only to find it had been locked from the outside.

Damn it, Chi Enen was still waiting for him to come back for dinner! He couldn’t be trapped here!

His heroic brow twisted into a fierce arc, and just when Old Master Li thought he would turn back and concede, he violently kicked at the door, intending to break it down!

Old Master Li, furious, ordered the bodyguards, “Pin him down for me!”

At first, the bodyguards hesitated because of his identity, not daring to truly restrain Li Beijue. But once Old Master Li personally issued the command, they no longer held back, reaching out to grab the man who had kicked the door, “Master Jue, please do not defy…”

Before the sentence was finished, Li Beijue shook him off defiantly, his tone icy to the bone, “Get lost!”

The anger in Old Master Li rose from three parts to seven in an instant, “No need for words, just take him down!”

“Yes.”

The bodyguards’ looks became grave, and they were no longer polite.

Li Beijue knew he couldn’t leave today without dealing with these men. He unbuttoned his shirt sleeves, revealing a section of strong, sinewy arms, his falcon-like eyes deadly, “Let’s see who’s capable!”

He struck first, landing a punch on the face of the closest bodyguard and with a sweep of the leg, took down another who was coming to help.

The dozen bodyguards weren’t weak; they closed in for the attack.

Li Beijue fought in close combat with punches that landed with a thud, his moves clean and efficient. However, he wasn’t facing just one or two men but more than a dozen, all professionally trained bodyguards with exceptional skills. After several rounds, not a single bodyguard had been able to overpower him, but Li Beijue was also bruised and battered.

He was panting heavily, with injuries to his waist and stomach, and fine beads of cold sweat rolled down his forehead…

The standoff continued.

Watching as Li Beijue kicked and sent flying the toughest bodyguard, the other bodyguards grew wary of him, hesitant to charge forward, yet they did not step aside and still firmly encircled him at the center!

“Enough!” Old Master Li suddenly called a halt.

The dozen bodyguards stopped.

Li Beijue stopped as well, though covered in sweat, devoid of his usual arrogant and superior demeanor, that steadfast light still flashed across his handsome face, his gaze fixed on Old Master Li from afar.

“Li Beijue, get engaged to Kim Zhixuan next month.”

“Impossible.”

Good, very good.

Old Master Li’s hand clutching the Dragon Head Crutch tightened slightly, his face emotionless as he ordered the Old Butler beside him, “Bring out my whip!”

“Old Master Jue?” That would mean family discipline! The Old Butler was taken aback, but he did not move.

The veins on Old Master Li’s forehead throbbed as he fixed his gaze on the man surrounded in the center, who showed no signs of conceding, and barked, “Go fetch it!”

The Old Butler, worried, glanced at Li Beijue and went to retrieve it.

In a short while, a whip embellished with gemstones, as thick as two fingers, was brought forth. Old Master Li took the whip and said coldly, “You want to leave? If you can withstand three lashes, I’ll let you go!”
