My Martial Arts Level Never Drops

Chapter 514: Chapter 228: Opportunity?

After bidding farewell to his master, Qin Fang returned to Linyuan Peak, grabbed several containers of honey, and headed straight for the Celestial Martial Hall.

...His master had mentioned that he should enter the Heavenly Gang Secret Realm.

However, it was a crucial Sect location, after all, and opening it required some preparation.

His master told Qin Fang to wait in the Sect for a while. After he and the Sect Leader had come to an agreement, they would let Qin Fang enter the Secret Realm.

...There were many Outer Sect Members in the Sect right now, which was another issue to consider.

But this actually suited Qin Fang just fine.

He still had quite a few things to take care of.

For example... harvesting some leeks.

He was done harvesting from the ’Mirror Flower Water Moon’ Minor Achievement Class. Now it was time for the Great Success Class to begin.

’But I estimate the Great Success Class will have far fewer people than the Minor Achievement Class...’

The Beginner Class was the most popular. First, it required the fewest contribution points. Second, reaching the entry-level meant you could fly... which was the mark of crossing from the mundane to the Extraordinary.

Naturally, almost everyone who met the requirements would eagerly sign up.

But by the time it got to the Minor Achievement Class, the numbers had already dropped by twenty to thirty percent... but it was still quite popular.

Because reaching Minor Achievement meant you could fly freely.

But now, with the Great Success Class... he figured even fewer people would be willing to attend.

Great Success just made one’s flying speed faster and allowed for better application in actual combat.

But to be frank, for the disciples, this change wasn’t as immediately tangible as the ones from ’entry-level’ and ’Minor Achievement’.

Besides, cultivating from Minor Achievement to Great Success required a massive amount of practice, not to mention spending contribution points to buy Leaf Technique Auxiliary Medicines like the Wind-Chasing Spiritual Liquid.

Only when one’s physical condition and proficiency both reached a certain threshold would a bottleneck appear, requiring guidance.

...This alone would probably deter a large number of disciples.

And even the disciples who did reach the threshold wouldn’t necessarily be willing to spend extra contribution points... At worst, they could just slowly grind it out over time.

...After Qin Fang started his In-Depth Discussions, more and more disciples and Elders with High Cultivation had also begun to hold In-Depth Discussion classes from time to time.

It wasn’t like Body Technique Leaf Skills were the only thing they cultivated.

Defense, Attack Skills... and most importantly, their Root Skills, also required a huge amount of resources.

In that case, it was natural to save wherever they could...

After all, there was no ’qualitative’ change.

...This was the difference between a ’necessity’ and a ’non-necessity.’

’These leeks are getting harder and harder to harvest. To make hundreds of thousands or millions in one go again... I’d have to start teaching Body Technique Leaf Skills of other Natures.’

Guiding people to the entry-level of Body Technique Leaf Skills was the easiest way to earn.

After all, the Body Technique Leaf Skill was complex enough, difficult to get started with, and still a ’necessity.’

Aside from that, not even Attack Leaf Skills were this easy to profit from...

With a sigh, Qin Fang could only set the matter aside for now. He’d see how things went after the class actually started.

Not long after, he arrived at Si Shen Cliff.

The place was as deserted as ever.

Qin Fang called out, ”Junior Sister Su, are you here?”

Before long, the door to a side hall opened, and Su Nian walked out, a puzzled look on her face.

But when she saw it was Qin Fang, her eyes instantly lit up. ”Senior Brother Qin... you’ve returned to the Sect?”

Qin Fang nodded slightly and handed her the honey. ”Yes. I promised last time that I’d bring some honey back for you... so I did. But I’m not sure if this honey is effective for restoring Divine Sense...”

”Ah.” Su Nian was startled. She quickly trotted over, took the bamboo containers, a touched expression appearing on her face. ”Thank you so much, Senior Brother Qin. I only mentioned it casually last time. I never thought you would...”

”I keep my promises,” Qin Fang said, shaking his head. ”By the way, I might also need to exchange for some Concentrating Iron Heart Jade this time.”

”Ah, the fifty grams from last time—Senior Brother, you’ve absorbed it all?” Su Nian’s eyes went wide.

...Fifty grams, in her opinion, should have lasted at least four or five years!

It had only been a year. Could Qin Fang have absorbed it all already?

Qin Fang said, ”Not all of it, but I was thinking of getting a few more pieces to absorb simultaneously. I want to see if it increases the efficiency.”

...Of course, Qin Fang wasn’t going to tell the truth.

”Uh...” Su Nian was stunned. Then, with a strange expression, she looked at Qin Fang and said hesitantly, ”Senior Brother, you really are... extravagant!”

Concentrating Iron Heart Jade wasn’t cheap—one thousand contribution points per gram.

And Senior Brother Qin was actually planning to use several pieces at once during his Cultivation?

...It was beyond her comprehension.

”But... that probably won’t have any effect. An Elder from our Celestial Martial Hall tried it before, but the absorption efficiency of that special substance didn’t increase... It just went from consuming one piece to consuming multiple pieces at the same time. The actual amount absorbed didn’t change,” Su Nian explained, shaking her head to indicate it was useless.

But Qin Fang just waved his hand. ”Don’t worry about that. I’ll try it myself and see... Besides, I’ll definitely need Concentrating Iron Heart Jade for Refining Divine Sense later anyway. If it really has no effect, it’s no big deal... It won’t go to waste.”

Hearing Qin Fang say this, Su Nian stared blankly for a moment before hesitating and saying, ”Well... all right. How much does Senior Brother want?”

”I have a little over two hundred thousand contribution points here. Let’s exchange two hundred thousand worth... You can figure out the amount.” Qin Fang handed his Token to Su Nian.

When she heard he wanted to exchange two hundred thousand contribution points’ worth, even Su Nian’s eyes widened...

After a long moment, she sighed in admiration, ”Senior Brother... you truly are extravagant... I understand. Please wait a moment, Senior Brother. Two hundred thousand contribution points... that’s almost equivalent to the total amount of Divine Jade the Sect receives in a year. Thankfully, not many people are exchanging for Divine Jade right now...”

After muttering this, she bowed to Qin Fang, then carefully carried the honey and took Qin Fang’s Token into the side hall.

She came out a short while later, holding a large Jade Box in her hands, and handed it to Qin Fang.
