My Martial Arts Level Never Drops

Chapter 446: Chapter 205: A Huge Profit

Qin Fang decided not to start a new class for now.

His time was simply too limited. He was already spending eight hours a day guiding students to the entry-level.

Besides...

You couldn’t just keep shearing the same sheep.

He had already cleaned out the contribution points of quite a few disciples...

For instance, the disciples who had to redeem the Mirror Flower Water Moon manual before attending his class couldn’t possibly have many contribution points left.

And after reaching the entry-level for Mirror Flower Water Moon, they still needed to cultivate further... for example, by absorbing the effects of the Wind-Chasing Spiritual Liquid to improve their constitution.

...All of this required contribution points.

A huge amount of contribution points, at that!

...He had to let his ”sheep” grow some wool back.

For now, Mirror Flower Water Moon was his personal golden goose, a fact tacitly acknowledged within the Sect. He wasn’t worried about anyone trying to compete with him.

’Besides, now that I have the contribution points, it’s time to give my power a boost. Over six hundred thousand... that’s enough to cultivate all my Leaf Skills to First Level Perfection. And then... my Root Skill should be close to reaching Great Success, right?’

Qin Fang thought, a flicker in his eyes.

...He wasn’t earning contribution points just for the thrill of it.

He intended to convert those contribution points into real power!

Now that he had plenty of contribution points, it was naturally time to level up.

...The scenes from his master’s great battle with that Ji Ai Old Ghost still flashed before his eyes.

He had nearly been turned into a wax figure...

The shock of that experience was still potent.

「In the blink of an eye, two months slipped by.」

The last batch of Cultivators who had yet to master the entry-level of Mirror Flower Water Moon all graduated!

In those two months, Qin Fang’s total haul of contribution points... exceeded seven hundred thousand!

Seeing that huge number in his Token, even someone like Qin Fang couldn’t help but feel a surge of accomplishment!

... ’Nice!’

Qin Fang let out a breath, deciding to return to Old Ox Back in a day or two to continue his cultivation.

He shot through the air, arriving at Baichuan Plaza.

Baichuan Plaza was as crowded as ever, a veritable sea of people.

But now, things were drastically different from his first visit.

The reason was...

...Many Inner Sect Disciples were hovering in and around the plaza, their bodies bobbing up and down unsteadily...

The first time he came, Qin Fang had only seen one or two people flying... and they had all been Elders.

But now?

Qin Fang looked down below...

”...AAAAAHHH, I want to master the entry-level of a Body Technique Leaf Skill! I want to fly too!!!”

An Inner Sect Disciple yelled in a frenzy.

”Huh? Senior Brother Zhao? Aren’t you cultivating a Geng Metal Root Technique? Which Body Technique did you originally choose? ... A lot of senior brothers and Elders are teaching Geng Metal System Body Technique Leaf Skills right now...”

”I know, but the Body Technique I chose is too obscure. I thought the description sounded so cool and powerful... but the difficulty is just insane! There isn’t even an Elder teaching it right now!”

Senior Brother Zhao looked utterly dejected.

”Then why not just switch to a different Leaf Skill?”

”Switch just like that? A First Layer Body Technique costs at least two thousand contribution points! And... I’m still several hundred short...”

”Well... then go do some tasks...”

”You think I haven’t tried? I can’t get any tasks at all! The moment one is posted, hundreds of people swarm it... Hell, I’ve even stooped to grabbing tasks meant for Outer Sect Disciples! But... the contribution points from Outer Sect tasks are pathetically low...”

This Senior Brother Zhao was frustrated to his very core.

His words immediately struck a chord with those around him.

”Yeah, there are too few tasks and way too many people trying to get them!”

”The Refined Lectures are effective, but they’re way too expensive!”

”The Elders’ Refined Lectures for each lineage are free, but they mostly cover obscure and difficult Leaf Skills... By the time my turn comes, I get a couple of hours of guidance at most, and then I have to wait several days or even a month... How is that any different from the Tempering Martial Hall?”

”The senior brothers who offer private tutoring all want contribution points... but our fixed monthly stipend is just over a thousand, and a lot of tasks give low rewards, only a few dozen points... Even the bandit-suppression tasks from the Miscellaneous Affairs Department are fiercely contested, with far too many people for too few openings...”

”We have to buy True Essence Pills, Leaf Technique Auxiliary Medicine... and now we have to pay for Refined Lectures... It’s impossible to make ends meet!!”

They murmured amongst themselves, their voices a low buzz.

Many of them gazed up with envy at the group wobbling through the air.

...The vast majority of these people were Qin Fang’s Refined Lecture Apprentices.

Furthermore, since Mirror Flower Water Moon was a classic Body Technique Leaf Skill of the Profound Water System, many of them had chosen it as their first skill upon joining the Sect, making it one of the most popular Body Techniques.

This, in turn, saved them a huge expense.

His entry-level class wasn’t expensive—only five hundred contribution points, with a guarantee that you would learn, or your points would be refunded...

...In contrast, other Refined Lectures rarely guaranteed reaching the entry-level, let alone offered a refund if you failed.

”Sigh, I’ve been taking a Body Technique Leaf Skill class from a veteran Inner Sect senior brother... I’ve already had three lessons, but I still haven’t gotten the slightest feel for the entry-level... I think it’s a lost cause.”

someone said, sounding dejected.

”They’re both Refined Lectures, but with a different Lecturer, the results are naturally different. Senior Brother Qin is famous for his exceptional Talent and heaven-defying comprehension! He even cultivated the Void Spiritual Eyes to help with his teaching... That’s an auxiliary Leaf Skill that many Elders haven’t even managed to learn. Of course his results are different.”

Someone sighed with a bitter smile. ”Why is my luck so rotten? If only I had a Profound Water Nature... If I did, I’d just choose whatever Root and Leaf Skills Senior Brother Qin chose... Who knows, maybe he’d even start lecturing on them? Then I’d be set...”

The person’s face filled with wistful longing as he spoke.

Qin Fang, who was still in the air: ”...”

”Forget about the Root Skill. The Profound Nether True Water Scripture that Senior Brother Qin chose has a prerequisite. You have to successfully cultivate the Profound Nether Realm-Breaking Awl... You’ve already entered the Divine Gate. Don’t tell me you’re thinking of going back to square one to Contemplate the Profound Nether Realm-Breaking Awl?”
