My Martial Arts Level Never Drops

Chapter 444: Chapter 204: Pointers

The next day, as the morning sun rose, its golden light bathed the world.

Qin Fang arrived early at the Linyuan Peak martial arts field.

At a glance, he saw the many Inner Sect Disciples already waiting there.

The number was somewhat beyond his expectations... there were probably six or seven hundred people in total.

They were talking in low voices.

When Qin Fang arrived, their eyes lit up one by one.

Then, they bowed in salute.

”Greetings, Senior Brother Qin!”

Their voices were surprisingly in unison.

Qin Fang nodded slightly. His gaze swept over the crowd and landed on a disciple from the Miscellaneous Affairs Department, who was walking over quickly, holding a roster in both hands.

”Senior Brother, this is the roster from yesterday’s registration... it’s sorted by registration time.”

Hearing this, Qin Fang nodded slightly and took the roster.

”Thank you for your hard work.”

”You’re too kind, Senior Brother!” The Inner Sect Disciple waved his hands repeatedly, then paused before saying, ”Well... if there’s nothing else, this junior brother will take his leave.”

Qin Fang gave a slight nod, and the Inner Sect Disciple bowed in salute once more before quickly exiting the martial arts field.

Holding the roster, Qin Fang’s gaze swept over the dense crowd before him.

Over six hundred people. The turnout was far more explosive than he had anticipated.

He opened the roster and glanced through it. The registrants’ information was listed clearly, with registration times accurate down to the quarter-hour.

According to the rules he set yesterday, he would only take the first forty people today, split into two sessions in the morning and afternoon, with twenty people per session.

’...Actually, it’s not impossible to teach all six hundred at once.’

’But considering I’m framing this as a ’private tutoring session’...’

’Besides, these disciples have different foundations. If I teach over six hundred people at once, there will likely be all sorts of problems.’

’And with so many people... not all of them have necessarily paid the ’fee.’ Some might just be here for the spectacle... or to see if they can audit the class for free.’

In the end, Qin Fang decided to stick to the original agreement.

’...A man is nothing without his word.’

He had to abide by the rules he himself had set.

’...Besides, it’s easier to help twenty people reach the entry-level stage.’

’This way, the private tutoring session will be more effective.’

’Once I’ve established a brand effect, the benefits for earning contribution points later will be even greater.’

Thinking this, he looked at the crowd with a calm gaze.

The low-key chatter instantly ceased. All eyes focused on him, filled with anticipation, nervousness, and even a hint of fanaticism.

Qin Fang wasted no time. He infused his voice with True Essence, and it carried clearly across the entire martial arts field: ”I have the roster in my hand. As stated in yesterday’s notice, I will only be instructing the first forty junior brothers and sisters who registered today... Those whose names are called may stay. The rest of you, please return.”

As his voice fell, a slight stir rippled through the crowd. Many disciples further back in the queue showed obvious disappointment and anxiety on their faces...

But no one dared to cause a commotion.

Without further delay, Qin Fang began to call out names according to the order on the roster.

Each disciple whose name was called pushed through the crowd with bright eyes and walked briskly to the front of the martial arts field, their faces filled with irrepressible excitement.

Those who were not called could only watch with envy. Some sighed and left, while others remained where they were, seemingly wanting to see just how this Senior Brother Qin would instruct them, or perhaps hoping for an unexpected opportunity...

Soon, the forty people were selected.

”The rest of you, leave.”

He said again, his voice calm.

Under Qin Fang’s calm gaze, the remaining disciples hesitated for a moment before finally bowing in salute and gradually dispersing.

A short while later, only forty expectant faces remained on the Linyuan Peak martial arts field.

Qin Fang looked at them and said calmly, ”Those who remain will be split into a morning group of twenty and an afternoon group of twenty, based on the order I called. For now, the first group, the first twenty people, take three steps forward. The other twenty may wait at the edge of the field... or you may leave and return in the afternoon.”

The chosen disciples quickly did as they were told. The twenty who remained at the edge of the field all chose to sit down nearby and wait... They naturally didn’t want to miss such an opportunity to observe.

Qin Fang’s gaze swept over the twenty nervous and expectant faces before him. He broke the silence, his voice composed and gentle.

”Fellow disciples, since you have paid contribution points to be here, your goal is none other than to reach the entry-level for ’Mirror Flower Water Moon.’ To save time, let’s get straight to the point.”

Everyone jolted to attention, looking at Qin Fang with faces full of anticipation.

”Now, everyone, circulate the First Layer of the ’Mirror Flower Water Moon’ Heart Method. Do not move. Simply run your True Essence along the designated route for one full Circulation... I want to see your foundations first.”

Hearing this, the twenty disciples didn’t dare to delay. They immediately followed his instructions, sitting cross-legged or standing still to focus, and began to mobilize the True Essence within their bodies.

In an instant, auras fluctuated on the martial arts field, and the faint, subtle sound of flowing water could be heard... That was the sign of everyone’s Profound Water Nature True Essence beginning to flow.

Qin Fang stood with his hands behind his back, but his Divine Sense had already spread out like formless mercury, meticulously blanketing all twenty of them.

A spiritual light even emanated from the depths of his eyes.

Under the dual effect of his Divine Sense and Void Spiritual Eyes, the people before him were no longer twenty complete human figures... but twenty ’True Essence Vein Maps’ attempting to sketch the same complex pattern.

But with just one glance, Qin Fang’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Because most of these ’True Essence Vein Maps’ had trembling strokes and crooked lines...

Everyone’s various problems were instantly grasped by Qin Fang.

One person’s True Essence was accumulating too much at the ”Yunmen Acupoint,” like a small dam filled too high, causing the subsequent flow to be sluggish.

Another’s True Essence was too ”solid” when turning at the ”Tianchi Acupoint,” losing the light and agile transformations of the Water Phase, as if trying to make an icicle turn a corner.

Even more people had issues at the ”Fengshi Acupoint,” a key point that required the clever ”atomization” and lifting of True Essence from the legs. They either lacked strength, resulting in a ”mist” too thin to provide lift, or their timing was off, disconnecting them from the True Essence circulation in their upper body...

These subtle errors were often described vaguely in the Secret Manual, or summarized with ambiguous phrases like ”flow as you wish” or ”let your mind and intent align.”

If no one pointed them out, it was like being separated by a mountain range.

Many disciples were stuck at this stage for years, able to rely only on painstaking effort and luck to slowly probe their way forward.

After observing for only a few dozen breaths, Qin Fang already had a clear picture.

He walked to the first disciple, a woman with an anxious expression. Beads of sweat were already forming on her temples; it was clear she was struggling to circulate her True Essence.

”Your ’Yunmen’ is overfilled with stored power, which has become an obstruction. When True Essence reaches this point, you should have the intent of being ’full but not overflowing, drawn but not released.’ Imagine the acupoint as the tip of a funnel, not a reservoir...”

After speaking calmly, Qin Fang pointed two fingers and made a phantom gesture towards a point on her shoulder and neck. A thread of Profound Nether True Essence, imperceptible yet incomparably precise, penetrated her, making the woman shudder as if an icy line had been drawn through her.

And then... she clearly perceived what was meant by ”the perfect amount of fullness” and ”a smooth guidance”!

The woman’s eyes flew wide open. The anxiety on her face vanished, replaced by a sudden, clear understanding and joyful surprise.

When she circulated her True Essence again, the feeling of blockage at her shoulder and neck was indeed greatly reduced. Her True Essence flowed down smoothly like a stream... She closed her eyes and continued her cultivation.

Qin Fang watched for a moment, nodded slightly, and then moved to the second person.

This was a burly, middle-aged man.

”Your problem is at the ’Tianchi’... When your True Essence reaches this point, it needs a measure of the resilience and adaptability of ’the highest good, which is like water.’ Don’t force the turn.”

Qin Fang offered verbal guidance while simultaneously using his own True Essence to guide the man’s local aura, simulating the rhythm of that resilient turn.

The man jolted to attention and immediately adjusted as instructed...

And then his eyes, too, gradually brightened...

...The originally stiff turn immediately became much smoother!

The third person...

The fourth person...

Qin Fang’s guidance was fast, precise, and ruthless!

He hit the nail on the head, pointing out the errors of many disciples.

Sometimes he would use his pure Profound Nether True Essence for subtle guidance; other times, he would directly correct their mental deviations.

What he pointed out were all the ”hidden bottlenecks” that the Secret Manual never detailed, but which genuinely held Cultivators back...

...All of it came from his Epiphany!

The disciples observing from the sidelines only saw Qin Fang moving with a calm gait, weaving among the group. With just a few words or a light point of his finger, he would cause a fellow disciple, who had been stuck for days without progress, to have a complete shift in their aura and a look of delight to appear on their face.

Although they couldn’t personally experience the exhilaration of having a problem instantly solved, as they also cultivated ’Mirror Flower Water Moon’... they could naturally and clearly feel the True Essence fluctuations of their fellow disciples in the field becoming smoother and more harmonious!

Their eyes widened in amazement, and a hint of anxiety crept in... The four-hour wait for their turn suddenly felt agonizingly long!

”Ah, I... I did it!!!”

The first woman Qin Fang had instructed suddenly let out a shriek of delight. Everyone subconsciously turned to look.

They saw the woman, her face flushed red with excitement, her body... was actually floating slowly in the air!

’...The results are that immediate?!’

Everyone present, especially the onlookers, stared with wide eyes, their faces filled with amazement!

Qin Fang took a look and then nodded slightly.

’Floating is considered reaching the entry-level.’

’But to fly freely and smoothly through the air... that’s something only achievable at the Minor Achievement stage.’

’Which means... five hundred contribution points, securely in the bag.’

A slight smile couldn’t help but touch the corners of his lips...
