My Martial Arts Level Never Drops

Chapter 411: Chapter 193: Profound Nether

Only the Li Fire and Profound Water Natures, whose essence is Qi Mechanism rather than physical substance, were capable of influencing the environment in the Early Stage.

Li Fire could raise the ambient temperature, making it feel like one was near a volcano, and could even be used to injure enemies.

As for Profound Water, it could drastically increase the moisture in the air, even conjuring water from nothing...

’Profound Nether,’ a mutation of the Profound Water Nature, contained Heaven and Earth’s Ultimate Yin Primordial Power.

It naturally followed that it would lower the ambient temperature...

It could turn a sweltering summer to winter, freezing running water solid!

’Of the five great Natures, it sounds like the water and fire types are a little more powerful, doesn’t it?’

But that wasn’t really the right way to look at it.

The water and fire Natures manifested externally, so they might indeed seem more powerful at lower Realms.

But at higher Realms, the other three Natures focused more on enhancing the user’s own body, potentially providing even greater augmentations...

The five great Natures generated and countered one another; no single one was supreme.

One’s personality, experiences, Root Skill, Leaf Skills... there were far too many factors that influenced the Nature of one’s True Essence.

Forcibly pursuing a particular Nature would likely be a mistake.

...Still, as a variant Nature, the power of the Profound Nether Nature was undeniable.

And now, the moment Qin Fang began circulating his True Essence, the surrounding temperature plummeted, clearly affecting the Giant Bees. They flew out, already wobbling, as Ice Crystals formed on their cicada-thin wings at a rate visible to the naked eye!

Qin Fang subconsciously glanced down at the Treasure Plant... and after a moment, he breathed a sigh of relief.

’Thankfully, the Profound Nether Nature doesn’t seem to be affecting it.’

Giant Bees began to fall, thudding onto the ground. Their bodies were stiff, already Frozen to Death.

Qin Fang wasted no more time. He flew to the cave ceiling, targeted a large piece of honeycomb, grabbed a corner, and snapped it off with a gentle twist.

Instantly, a rich, sweet fragrance wafted from the break.

A large quantity of glistening, golden liquid flowed out from the cross-section...

’...It’s actual honey?’

Qin Fang’s eyes lit up.

Ordinary honey was already quite valuable; one could only imagine how extraordinary the honey from this Exotic Species of Giant Bee would be!

With that one motion, Qin Fang had broken off a piece of honeycomb roughly a meter in diameter. It was incredibly thick, and besides the honey, Qin Fang also saw numerous white Giant Bee larvae squirming in the cells.

’This should be enough for now. I’ll come back later. First, I need to collect this portion.’

Qin Fang thought to himself.

His breaking of the honeycomb clearly enraged the swarm. A resounding BUZZ filled the air as a dense cloud of at least several hundred Giant Bees poured from the hive, charging straight for him.

But the surrounding temperature was too low. The closer they got to Qin Fang, the colder it became!

In the blink of an eye, ice formed on the bees’ wings and even began to spread to their bodies. The buzzing ceased as they plummeted from the air.

They fell with a clattering sound, like a sudden downpour.

Afraid of accidentally disturbing the Treasure Plant, Qin Fang didn’t linger. He flew straight out, carrying the large chunk of honeycomb.

The Giant Bees began to follow him out... The honey’s allure was clearly stronger than any Bee Venom pheromones.

Qin Fang flew straight to the summit, but they were still pouring out of the cave.

From a distance, the sight was rather terrifying...

...a ceaseless stream of bowl-sized Giant Bees pouring out of a cave and soaring toward the summit...

This made Qin Fang, hovering in the air, frown slightly...

’...Talk about kicking the hornet’s nest.’

This was literally it.

He glanced at the emerging bees. Hundreds had appeared in just a short time... If anyone were watching from a distance, they would immediately spot the disturbance.

This could very well lead to the exposure of Old Ox Back.

After a moment’s hesitation, Qin Fang turned and flew back.

Everywhere he passed, Giant Bees instantly froze and plummeted.

In the end, Qin Fang returned to the cave.

He smacked his lips and placed the honeycomb on the ground near the entrance.

Then, he turned and flew out again.

This time... no Giant Bees gave chase.

Qin Fang flew directly back to the bamboo forest.

Xile was in the bamboo forest and immediately pounced upon seeing Qin Fang.

”Stop! No licking!”

Qin Fang immediately snapped.

Xile stopped, panting happily as it looked at Qin Fang. But the longer it looked, the brighter its eyes grew, its nose twitching incessantly...

It smelled something delicious...

Its eyes grew brighter and brighter.

Qin Fang’s heart sank.

”You...”

He didn’t even get to finish his sentence.

”Shit!”

Qin Fang swore.

...He still couldn’t escape his fate of getting his face washed by Xile.

It wasn’t until Qin Fang dove straight into a waterfall that Xile finally stopped, licking its chops as if wanting more.

Qin Fang stared speechlessly at Xile...

But in the end, he just sighed in resignation.

...Clearly, it was the lingering scent of honey on him that had made Xile lose all self-control...

After rinsing off, he circulated his True Essence. The water on his skin instantly froze into fine ice crystals. Then, with a slight tremor of his True Essence, the crystals shattered and fell off with a CRACKLE.

It looked just like dry ice.

It even let off white vapor on the ground...

In an instant, his entire body was dry.

His hair, and even his underwear... were all completely dry.

”Lick me again and I’ll beat you!”

He shot Xile a fierce glare. Xile just panted happily and wagged its tail, it was impossible to tell if it understood... but at least it didn’t pounce again.

Qin Fang’s gaze fell upon the bamboo forest...

’Bringing the honey out would cause too much of a commotion, potentially leading others to discover the strange happenings at Old Ox Back.’

’In that case, I might as well process it inside the cave.’

’Besides, the Treasure Plant doesn’t look like it’s going to become a threat anytime soon...’

With this in mind, he walked over to the bamboo forest and began cutting down stalks.

Before long, Qin Fang had a number of containers carved from bamboo.

...Each bamboo segment served as a container.

He could use another piece as a lid.

After a quick rinse, they were sparkling clean and even gave off a fresh bamboo scent.

Only then did Qin Fang take to the air a second time, heading straight for the cave.
