My Martial Arts Level Never Drops

Chapter 417: Chapter 195: Supreme Fairness

”Beyond the Great Yu lie the Demon Countries, home to a large number of ’Demons’ who prey on human Martial Artists... They are humanity’s greatest enemy.”

Master Hu concluded.

Qin Fang felt a chill in his heart...

He had learned a few more basic facts about the Extraordinary World.

As a sighing Master Hu was about to depart, Qin Fang even took out two bamboo tubes for him... They were filled with Bee Meat and honey, a token of gratitude for answering his questions.

Master Hu was taken aback for a moment, but then he accepted them with a smile.

Qin Fang then got back on Xile and continued toward his Direct Disciple Peak.

Soon, he reached the foot of the peak. Xile scaled the mountainous terrain as if it were flat ground, climbing with incredible speed.

They quickly reached the palace at the summit.

...The Sect had bestowed this palace upon him after he became a True Inheritance disciple. The entire Peak Vein, with a small palace built upon it, belonged to him and him alone.

This was a privilege reserved only for the Hall Master’s True Inheritance.

And so, the Peak Vein was named after him.

Linyuan Peak.

Normally, a True Inheritance Peak would be bustling with people... True Inheritor Guards, for instance, or Inner Sect Disciples who wished to align themselves with a True Inheritance disciple.

However, Qin Fang currently had only one Personal Guard: Qian Ruhai. He also had no intention of building his own power base within the Sect, so he was all alone in the palace on his Peak Vein.

Returning to this familiar place, Qin Fang let out a soft sigh. He hopped off the dog’s back, unloaded all the supplies they had been carrying, and only then did he pat Xile’s head.

”This is our home now... You be a good watchdog. I’ll be back in a little while.”

Xile scanned its surroundings, its large eyes clear and pure.

Qin Fang knew it understood, so he paid it no further mind. After a moment’s thought, he grabbed some Bee Meat and honey, then leaped into the air and flew off.

...Naturally, his next stop was his Master’s.

’It wouldn’t be appropriate to ride Xile there.’

A short while later, Qin Fang arrived at his Master’s cultivation abode, carrying the Bee Meat and honey. He spoke respectfully, ”Disciple Qin Fang has returned to the Sect. I have come to report to Master and to pay my respects.”

Scarcely had his voice faded when, from the precipitous, cloud-wreathed peak above, a gentle yet clear voice spoke directly into his ear: ”Come on up.”

Qin Fang was startled for a moment, but he quickly moved. Taking flight, he soared up through layers of thin mist until he saw it: an expansive platform on the summit of the peak.

At the edge of the platform, his Master, Yue Guiyuan, sat cross-legged on a smooth, blue-gray stone. A simple stone tea set rested before him, wisps of steam curling into the air.

Yue Guiyuan still wore the same simple, greyish-blue Daoist robe, his hair casually fastened with a wooden pin. His face was lean and refined, and his eyes, gentle and placid, were watching Qin Fang with a smile.

”This disciple pays his respects to Master.”

Qin Fang landed and bowed respectfully.

”No need for formalities. Sit.”

Yue Guiyuan gestured for Qin Fang to sit on the stone stool opposite him. As his gaze swept over his disciple, a hint of surprise appeared in his eyes. ”Your True Essence is condensed, your Circulation is Endless... Have you entered the Second Realm?”

As Qin Fang sat, he heard his Master’s question and sighed internally. ’As expected, I can’t hide anything from Master.’

’It was just as well; he hadn’t planned on hiding it anyway.’

”Yes.”

”Truly unparalleled Talent... To enter the Second Realm in less than two years...”

Even Yue Guiyuan looked astonished. He sized Qin Fang up, then asked curiously, ”Observing your True Essence, it is dark and its chill is condensed... This doesn’t look like an ordinary Profound Water Aspect. Could it be... the Profound Nether Aspect?”

Qin Fang nodded and replied respectfully, ”Yes. On my travels, I discovered a place that contained an impressive amount of Ultimate Yin Primordial Power. After half a year of arduous cultivation, I unexpectedly developed the Profound Nether Aspect... It was a stroke of luck.”

This was the excuse Qin Fang had prepared on his way back.

’...There was no hiding the fact that he had developed the Profound Nether Aspect.’

’After all, the Profound Nether Aspect wasn’t a common Profound Water Aspect; it was a variant.’

’A change in his True Essence Nature was something he could never hide from the Sect’s experts.’

’And for such a change to occur after being away from the Sect for a mere six months... It was bound to attract attention.’

’He could be evasive with others, but if his Master asked and he refused to speak, it would only arouse suspicion.’

’So, he decided to do the opposite and be completely forthright.’

He just didn’t reveal the whole truth about Old Ox Back.

’...His Master had certainly treated him well.’

’But... they hadn’t reached *that* level of trust yet.’

Sure enough, Yue Guiyuan showed no hint of suspicion. Instead, he asked in surprise, ”You actually found such a blessed land?”

Qin Fang nodded respectfully. ”That is why, after returning this time, I may need to depart again soon... I don’t know how long that blessed land will last. This disciple wishes to exchange for the next stage of my Cultivation Technique and then continue my seclusion...”

Qin Fang kept his explanation vague.

’...This was another reason he had to mention the ”Land of Ultimate Yin.”’

’To continue cultivating at such a rapid pace, he would need to frequent Old Ox Back, and for that, he would certainly need his Master’s support.’

’Having an excuse like a ”Land of Ultimate Yin” provided the perfect justification for leaving the Sect.’

Sure enough, his Master immediately broke into a smile and nodded. ”Of course, that is no problem at all. Your cultivation must always be the priority.”

He paused, then added with a thoughtful smile, ”The world is certainly full of such special places—lands that, for one reason or another, become supremely suited for cultivating a specific Nature... But the landscape is ever-changing, and such places can vanish without warning. To have found one is a great fortuitous opportunity for you, so you must indeed seize it. If that blessed land disappears one day, finding another will be difficult indeed.”

He sounded genuinely pleased, clearly delighted that Qin Fang had found a blessed land so well-suited to his Nature.

Just as Qin Fang was breathing a silent sigh of relief, his Master paused again. This time, he frowned. ”However, you are now in the Primordial Stream Realm. According to tradition, you are now qualified to enter our Sect’s Heavenly Gang Secret Realm...”

His Master’s words took Qin Fang by surprise.

Then, he suddenly remembered...

’...The competition for those twelve seats had been so fierce precisely because it was tied to a great fortuitous opportunity!’

’In the year since he had joined the Sect, no one had mentioned it, and with so much else going on, Qin Fang had nearly forgotten all about it.’

’He never expected his Master to be the one to bring it up now.’

”Master, the Heavenly Gang Secret Realm... what exactly is it?”

Qin Fang asked curiously.
