Regression - Second Chance At Life

Chapter 242: What Do You Think Of My Daughter?

Adam can see why Lamai is so frustrated. Not only is this opponent a physical challenge, but also a mental one.

Not having confidence in herself to win against her opponent can definitely cause frustration, especially when one is as talented as Lamai.

Geniuses often exhibit arrogance, and there is nothing wrong with it, as they are generally considered superior to the general masses. However, when they suffer a setback, the blow to their ego is even greater.

Lamai is a fighting prodigy; she has heard it all her life, so for her to feel defeat even before her fight proves how little confidence she has in herself. No wonder she would be this frustrated.

”Why do you doubt yourself? Didn’t you already defeat her once? If you did it once, you can do it again,” Adam says.

Lamai looks at him with a hesitant gaze before she starts speaking.

”Well... the one time that I did defeat her, it was our very first fight, and I only won by a split decision from the judges’ score card.... Our next fight, she won with a split decision... And our last fight, she won by the judges’ decision again, but this time they overwhelmingly favored her... It feels like every time I fight her, she continues to get better,” Lamai explains.

Adam thinks about what she said, and there might be some truth to her claim, but in his eyes, Lamai just needs something to ignite the fire to compete that she seems to have lost.

”Does it matter though?” Adam suddenly asks.

”Huh? What do you mean?” Lamai is confused by Adam’s question.

”Does your previous fight really matter? The past is the past, this is the present, and you need to work your ass off for your future. Who cares if you lost your last two fights against her? That doesn’t mean you will lose your next one, so stop being a crybaby and start training.

Didn’t you say you want to make your dad proud by winning the world championship? Do you think you can win that if you are already afraid of fighting someone who isn’t a world champion?” Adam asks.

Lamai looks at him but doesn’t have an answer.

”You need to whoop this girl’s ass and get over your fear of losing, only then will be become the world champion,” Adam says.

Lamai’s eyes flutter, and as she is about to open her mouth and speak, she sees her father walk in with a big smile on his face.

”Adam, my boy!” Rangsan shouts and approaches Adam with large strides before giving Adam a tight hug.

Adam feels awkward being hugged by this old man, but decides to let it slide as Rangsan is clearly very emotional.

Pulling away from the hug, Rangsan pats Adam’s shoulder happily multiple times while laughing with happiness.

”I have to thank you, boy. I thought I would have had to completely give up coaching with everything that happened, but you came to our rescue when we needed it the most, and for that I can’t thank you enough,” Rangsan says, laughing out loud joyfully, but Adam can hear the emotional strain in his voice that he is trying to hide.

Rangsan is clearly more than just happy. Adam just saved his entire life with his offer.

”I just thought it would be nice to have my own gym,” Adam says.

”Hahaha, I see, well, it doesn’t matter what you thought. You have given me and my daughter a lifeline, saving us from ruin. You are now family,” Rangsan says and pulls in Adam for another hug.

’This old man can be really affectionate...’ Adam thinks as he doesn’t recall getting hugged by another man in his lifetime. So, he still feels very awkward about it.

Rangsan pulls away from the hug and looks at Adam as if a proud father looking at his son.

”Say, do you have a girlfriend?” Rangsan suddenly asks, catching both Adam and Lamai by surprise.

”No... but I am seeing a few girls here and there,” Adam says, unsure what Rangsan wants to do with this information.

Hearing Adam’s answer, Lamai looks at him with squinted eyes, wondering how many girls Adam has in his orbit. Seeing how handsome Adam is and his flirty personality, she wasn’t surprised to hear that Adam is seeing a few girls.

Lamai feels a little jealous as she has not been immune to Adam’s charms either, as they train a lot together, their bodies entangled in a sweaty mess while their private parts rub against each other multiple times, there has been a lot of scenarios where Lamai found herself hot and horny for Adam, if during those times Adam had made a move on her, she doesn’t know if she would be able to resist.

Now knowing that there are girls out there who have experienced things with Adam, how could Lamai not feel a little jealous? The only reason she is not blowing up over it is that she wants to stay professional. She is Adam’s sub-coach; she shouldn’t be having sexual relationships with one of her trainees.

Rangsan also gives Adam a long look while his eyes hide the thoughts that are running around his mind. ’It’s really hard to read this man,’ Adam thinks as he doesn’t know what Rangsan will say.

”Hahaha, as expected. A boy like you definitely will have ladies chasing after you. I am not surprised. Say, what do you think about my daughter? Do you think she is good-looking?” Rangsan asks.

And this question hits both Adam and Lamai like a bomb.

Lamai’s face turns red while Adam looks like an idiot, clearly dumbfounded and unable to come up with an answer to such a bizarre question.

”DAD!” Lamai shouts at Rangsan, but he completely ignores her

”Um, she is beautiful,” Adam finally says.

”Hahaha, that’s good, that’s good. You two should hang out more since you are of the same age,” Rangsan says.

’Does he mean what I think he means?’ Adam wonders as it sounds like Rangsan is giving Adam his permission to date his daughter.

’Didn’t this man just hear that I am seeing a few girls at the same time? Is he okay with that?’ Adam wonders, but before he could ask anything to clarify what Rangsan means, he is interrupted.

”Okay, enough talk, let’s get back to training. Since you have helped me with my problem, I promise you that I will make you the greatest fighter that ever walked this earth.” Rangsan gives a bold declaration and immediately puts Adam under intense training, completely moving on from the previous topic as if it didn’t happen at all.

As for Lamai, she is also forced to help Adam train even though she is still trying to recover from her father’s statement.

Her absent state of mind leads to her getting scolded by Rangsan a few times, forcing her to focus on training, rather than thinking about Adam and the possible relationship they could have.

But it’s harder to do than think, with her locking hands with Adam, training wrestling, it’s hard for her to focus when she feels Adam’s cock pressing against her pussy while she is being mounted by Adam, and her legs are wrapped around his waist, making her very aroused.

The only difference between this and actual fucking is that they are dressed up, and Adam’s cock is not going in and out of her.

The training lasts for an hour and a half. The moment the training came to an end, Lamai stormed into the locker room to have some private time with herself, and Adam clearly knows what she is going to do in that locker room, as for Rangsan, not so much, as he is more interested in Adam’s training and his incredible speed of learning than his own daughter’s state of mind and body.

As Adam exits the ring, Rangsan asks him. ”So how are we going to do this?” And by this, he means the transfer of ownership to Adam.

”I will call my lawyer, and she will handle everything. You should start hiring new students and some instructors. You can decide on how to run the gym, as I have no idea. You can be the general manager/head instructor,” Adam says.

”Hahaha, I like it,” Rangsan laughs happily as he no longer has to worry about making money, as he will immediately go back to doing what he loves the most.

Done with his training, Adam leaves as he has a date to prepare for.

He did promise to pick up Isla this evening, and he needs to look at least a little presentable for a girl as beautiful as her.

If everything goes right tonight, he will have the company of a beautiful girl, and the night will be filled with vigorous physical activities that Adam loves to do.

Exiting the gym, Adam gets in his car and drives back home. When he gets there, he sees that Julia’s not home, and if she’s not home, then the only thing she can be doing right now is shopping and spending his dad’s hard-earned money on expensive shoes and bags.

Well, it’s just Adam’s guess. What he doesn’t know is that because of him locking his papers behind a safe made Julia became very frustrated, and when frustrated, there is only one place she can go to vent them, her half sister’s house.
