Regression - Second Chance At Life

Chapter 212: Blunt Rejection

Isla knew this day would come because she had always been aware of Jean’s attraction for her.

And even though she thought that he had moved on after seeing him date many girls, deep down, she knew Jean always had feelings for her.

But she decided to ignore it because she made it very clear to him that she is not interested in seeing anyone.

Unexpectedly, she never thought she would be vain enough to fall for a guy just by looking at him once.

And now that she knows Adam, has talked to him, and even has gotten herself his number, there is no way she is going to miss out on something that she feels is destiny.

Yes, Isla feels it’s fate because the reaction she had when she saw Adam was something else. She had never felt such a strong and intense emotion for a stranger. Forget stranger, she has not felt such a strong emotion for her friends or family.

And when she finally managed to talk to Adam, saw his smile, and heard his voice, it was over for her. She knew she wanted more, and that’s why she was such a mess when talking to him, because she had never felt so nervous. Not even when she debuted in front of a live crowd.

Now she needs to handle Jean without messing up the band, because Jean is a part of her band, and if he lets his emotions get the better of him, he might ruin it for everyone.

Isla might be being selfish right here because she is choosing Adam over the band’s harmony, but she will also not let one of her band members dictate who she can or cannot date just because he will get his feelings hurt.

”Do we really have to go through this once again?” Isla asks, pinching her nose bride feeling annoyed at Jean’s childish behavior.

”Yes, you made it very clear to me that you don’t want to see anyone? So why this sudden change?” Jean asks.

”Really? Do you really want to ask why?” Isla asks, annoyed. She can’t believe she has to say it out loud to Jean to make him understand what she really meant when she said that.

”Yes, I want to hear it from your mouth,” Jean says.

”Okay, fine! Jean. I said to you that I have no intentions of seeing anyone because I didn’t want to date you. I don’t like you, and I don’t think I ever will. I said those words to let you down easily because I didn’t want to hurt your feelings,” Isla says, being very straight with her words, because she doesn’t want Jean to have any more doubts about the relationship they have.

They are friends cum band-members, and nothing else to Isla’s eyes, and Jean to give up on the idea of them ever being together.

Now that Isla has someone she is very interested in, she is not going to let her jealous band member ruin it for her.

As Jean hears her harsh words, his world starts crumbling down, because he truly believed that one day he and Isla would get together.

”But... but what about that night?” Jean asks.

When Jean says those words, Isla cringes as his words bring up memories that Isla never wants to remember.

”Please, Jean, don’t do this to us,” Isla says, sighing.

”That night was special. I felt so connected to you, and I know you felt the same,” Jean says, stepping up closer to Isla and grabbing her hand.

But Isla immediately pulls her hand away from his grasp.

”Jean! That night was a mistake. We both were drunk. I was especially very drunk. He couldn’t make left from right, and we ended up having sex. I don’t know what you think happened, but I don’t even remember that night properly.

If not for us waking up in the same bed the next day, I would have thought it was just some nightmare I had because they were just flashes of memories. I didn’t feel anything, and I don’t remember anything.

Everything that you feel is all you and in your head, not me.

Like I said before, I didn’t want to be blunt with you because I didn’t want to hurt your feelings. But now you’re crossing the line.

We are friends, nothing more. You cannot hold expectations for me about something I never promised you.

I want to date Adam, so stop it. Forget about having any feelings for me and move on. It’s best for both of us and the band.

And I don’t want you to hear about this from me anymore. This is the only time we will have this conversation, so if you have anything more to say, out with it,” Isla says.

Jean feels his surroundings getting cold as he takes in everything that Isla just said to him.

In his head, that night was the night he thought he and Isla were meant to be. After that night, Jean fell for Isla hard, but it turns out Isla regretted that night. She doesn’t even remember it.

Jean’s fantasy world shattered into pieces.

So he just stood there, unable to say a word.

A minute goes by, and not a single word comes out of Jean’s mouth as he is too overwhelmed to say anything.

”Looks like you have nothing to say. So this is it. It’s over. Don’t bring this thing up ever again. I don’t want to date you. I have no feelings for you. Now that you have your answer, you can finally move on,” Isla says, turns her back to Jean, and leaves.

Her words were sharp and straight to the point, just like how a leader should be.

No wonder she is in charge of the band, but when it came to talking with Adam, she couldn’t stand straight, for god’s sake.

Isla leaves Jean behind at the parking lot and enters the elevator. She stands inside the elevator and watches Jean just stand there next to their car, thinking about something.

She sighs. She didn’t want to be so harsh on him, but realizing that Jean is still hung up on some random night they spent together while being under the influence, Isla knew she needed to be blunt with him and make his realize that they will never be a thing, because if she didn’t, she was sure that Jean will continue to be hung up on her.

Isla waits patiently as the elevator’s door closes, removing Jean from her sight.

When the elevator finally gets up to the floor where her room is, she sees Suzaan waiting for her.

”Hey, how did it go?” Suzaan asks.

”It was rough, but I made sure to be as straight with him as possible so that he won’t stay hung up on me any longer,” Isla says.

”Good, but in my opinion, you should have done it sooner,” Suzaan says.

”I know, now I fear that it might affect the band,” Isla says, sounding a little worried.

”Don’t worry, things will work out like they always have. It’s not the first time we have had a falling out, right? And who knows, maybe Jean will act responsibly and won’t make a big deal out of it,” Suzaan says.

”I hope you are right,” Isla says and sighs.

”Okay, enough about Jean, let’s head to your room and talk about this, Adam,” Suzaan suggests, giggling with excitement, which makes Isla blush. She nods her head, and the two girls enter Isla’s room to talk.

But the second they enter the room and the door closes behind them, Suzaan grabs Isla, pins her against the wall, and begins kissing her.

Surprised at first, Isla immediately begins kissing Suzaan back. Their lips smack, and their tongues begin entangling with each other as they engage in a steaming hot kiss.

Isla holds Suzaan by her waist and flips her around and pins her to the wall, assuming the dominant position as if it comes very naturally to her, and Suzaan immediately melts into her arms, moaning as Isla presses her body onto hers.

After a few minutes of kissing, Isla finally pulls away, letting Suzaan catch her breath.

Both girls breathe heavily with flushed cheeks as they stare into each other’s eyes with passion.

”What happened to talking about Adam and helping me out?” Isla asks, licking her lips.

”I couldn’t help it... Seeing you act so vulnerable and meek before him was such a huge turn on. I had never seen you like that before. I had to try so hard to stop myself from kissing you~” Suzaan says.

”I see~ Well, now that you have gone and done what you did, I need to punish you~” Isla says, smirking seductively while wrapping her hand around Suzaan’s neck.

”Why? ~” Suzaan asks meekly while biting her lower lip.

”Because you thought you could dominate me just because you saw me in a vulnerable state~ I think I need to teach you again as to who’s in control here,” Isla says and engages in a sloppy kiss with Suzaan once again.

If their fans were to see what Isla and Suzaan are doing, they would lose their mind. There are, of course, fan fics about the band members, and Isla and Suzaan’s pairing is the most popular one.

If their fans knew that the fan fics they write about Isla and Suzaan are almost true, they would lose their shit, because how often do fan fics turn out to be true?

Isla drags Suzaan to the bed and then starts engaging in some soft BDSM, as they don’t have their toys with them right now.
