Regression - Second Chance At Life

Chapter 206: Finally Partners

Isla stood before the TV, surprised as she listened to the news.

[A human trafficking attempt was thwarted last night. A few teenagers were kidnapped from a local concert where Velvet Arcadia main event.

The perpetrators are members of a gang notoriously known for being involved in human and organ trafficking. Surprisingly, their operation was thwarted not by the police but by a few local MMA practitioners.

They managed to take down all the gang members all alone. Unfortunately, the parties involved have requested to keep their identities anonymous, so we are going to respect their wishes.

If our city had more citizens like them, it would be a much safer place.]

Isla can’t believe that her concert venue would become a spot for gang members to commit human trafficking. She is glad that the perpetrators were caught and her fans are safe.

Just then, she hears a knock on her door.

”Wait a minute!” She shouts and quickly puts on some clothes, and opens the door. On the other side, she finds her friend and bandmate, Suzaan.

”Hey, did you hear?” Suzaan asks.

”About what?” Isla wants her friend to be a little more specific.

”About the kidnapping and human trafficking?” Suzaan specifies.

”Just heard about it on the TV. I can’t believe such a thing happened right after our performance...” Isla says.

”Indeed, it must have been a very scary experience. Do you think they are okay?” Suzaan asks as she sounds way more concerned than Isla.

”I am sure they are, they were saved before anything happened, right?” Isla asks.

”That’s what they say in the news, but I really don’t trust the news,” Suzaan says.

”Suzaan, you are here too.” The girls then hear a familiar voice approaching them. They turn to see their other band members, Jean and Kylo, heading their way.

”I got here as soon as I heard the news,” Suzaan answers.

”I see, we also just learned about it, can’t believe such a thing happened so close to us,” Kylo the drummer, says.

”Well, things did end up good. Someone managed to save them before anything bad could happen, right, so there’s nothing to worry about,” Jean says with a relaxed tone. Unlike the others, he doesn’t seem to care that much about it.

”Well... I have a suggestion...” Suzaan suddenly speaks up.

”What is it?” Isla asks.

”Why don’t we give the victims a visit, make sure they are really okay, and it’s not just the police and media making a small of the incident,” Suzaan suggests.

”Great idea, Su! It’s going to be great publicity for us.” Jean says, giving her a big thumbs up.

”This isn’t a publicity stunt!” Suzaan says, glaring at Jean.

”Sure, it’s not, but it still can be,” Jean suggests. Suzaan frowns.

”Okay, enough, you two. Let’s do what Suzaan suggested. I will talk to our manager about it,” Isla finally speaks up as the leader of the band.

With her making it official, the others don’t make any more fuss about it.

”Hey, let’s go have breakfast. I am starving,” Kylo suggests.

”Me too, and since we are here. I know the perfect place,” Suzaan says cheerfully.

”What is it?” Isla asks.

”It’s a new restaurant that’s been the talk of the town. Every review about the restaurant is very position. They say that the food tastes amazing while also looking stunning. It’s art on a plate,” Suzaan says excitedly, almost drooling.

”I don’t know, sounds fake as fuck. No restaurant is that good,” Jean argues.

”What do you know about food? The only thing you eat is microwaved pizza,” Suzaan claps back.

”No, I don’t!” ”Yes, you do!” They both start arguing again. ”Can you two stop it. Su. Let’s go to this restaurant you just mentioned. I too need to fill my stomach,” Isla says with a sigh.

”Great!” Suzaan cheers happily.

Adam drives to the restaurant and parks his car in his usual spot before walking in through the back door.

As he steps into the kitchen, he finds Ellie, as usual, preparing for today’s service.

”Good morning, partner,” Adam greets her with a new title.

Ellie looks up at him and smiles from ear to ear. ”Good morning to you, too, partner!” She says cheerfully.

Clara came very early to visit her and got the papers signed, and now she and Adam are officially partners, and she has already gotten herself access to the shared bank account with all the money in it.

With so much money in hand, Ellie is very happy. Now she can finally start investing in all the right equipment, staff, and expansions to take her restaurant to another level.

With everything in the coming future looking very positive, how could she not be happy?

”You look happy today,” Adam says, noticing her unusually bright smile. Ellie has always had a big, bright smile, but today, she is glowing even more.

”How could I not? Thanks to you, I get to do so much more with this restaurant and make my dreams come true!” Ellie says.

”No need to thank me. Remember, I am in this for the money,” Adam says cheekily.

”I understand, you are a greedy man, but I still feel very thankful for what you have done for me,” Ellie says and approaches Adam before giving him a tight hug.

”Thank you!” She says.

Adam has no clue how his decision has managed to lift all the burden that Ellie has been carrying on her shoulders.

Since this is a very new business, the possibility of failure is very high. Even though she was making some profits, it was not enough for her to be worry-free. She still had so much to play for, loans and other expenses that pile up to run a unique restaurant like hers.

After all that is spent, she has very little money for herself.

As much as she loves this, she needs to make a living to continue doing this worry-free.

Adam’s generous offer came right on time and has relieved her of all her stress. Now she can really focus on the betterment of her restaurant and its expansion. And with an amazing legal advisor like Clara on her team, she sees a very bright future for herself, her dream, and this restaurant.

Adam is surprised by this overwhelming display of appreciation, but he doesn’t mind. He hugs her back.

He wraps his hand around her waist and pulls her in closer for a hug that’s a little too tight and intimate for two business partners to be doing, but in this moment, they don’t seem to mind.

Ellie trusts Adam a lot as he is the only one who has validated her views and sees her potential, and Adam... well, Adam wants the money that this restaurant is going to make as it grows into a massive restaurant/hotel empire with more than fifty grand hotels/restaurants across the world, bringing in billions in revenue every year.

And of course, he also has his eyes on Ellie herself. She is an amazing bonus with all that money that will be coming his way.

Of course, he is not going to make his intentions obvious. He is going to continue building their relationship, getting closer and closer until there is no one Ellie doesn’t trust more than him, and when her idiot boyfriend makes a mistake, which Adam is very sure, he will. He is going to swoop in like an eagle and grab himself another beautiful lover he can add to his collection.

As Ellie hugs Adam tightly, she begins feeling his warmth, which makes her feel safe and secure. His tall frame, his muscular physique, and his strong arms encompassing her make her feel like the roof could collapse on them, and she will walk out of it just fine.

She has never felt like this with anyone other than Adam, which makes her blush.

Feeling his strong arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her into him as her breasts press against him, Ellie starts feeling the heat.

Inappropriate thoughts arise inside her head even though she didn’t want to.

And as these thoughts take root in her mind, her body starts reacting like it always has when she gets horny. She can’t help it; it’s a biological reaction that she has no control over.

The images of Adam being naked, and the pictures of him having sex with Leila, start playing in her head.

The way he had Leila pressed against the locker as he pounded into her hard with his massive cock takes over Ellie’s thoughts.

As she feels Adam’s warmth and his strong embrace, she begins to replicate that exact moment in her head, but this time it is she instead of Leila who is getting her pussy pounded by Adam’s massive cock.

Her imagination starts running wild as she pictures herself in the exact same position, making the exact same face Leila was making when she had her face pressed against the locker by Adam, while her entire body jolted with ripples every time Adam smashed into her.

Ellie’s face turns red as her own fantasies bring her doom. ’Oh my god! What am I thinking? This is so wrong! I am dating the love of my life, I shouldn’t be having such vulgar thoughts about other men... Especially someone who is your business partner.... and younger... and already has a lover... and is extremely handsome...’ Ellie finds herself losing to her fantasies again.

She can feel her body screaming at her to be more intimate with Adam, but she is not going to let her body control her like this.

Ellie pulls away from the hug and tries to hide her red face from Adam.
