Chapter 220: Chapter 220: The Vajra Who Came With One Sword From the West

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: ?

Doujin Artist: Out of nowhere?

Machete Girl: What’s with the American soldiers? Did they go to Skull Island like in the original story?

Pretty Boy from Skull Island: Yes. I held back my instincts and didn’t fight them directly like in the original story. I wanted to see if they came for invasion or for science, but in the end, they really were invaders. \[Image]

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Damn, these people are animals.

When Saten Ruiko opened the image, what she saw was a village covered in smoke and fire.

It was the Skull Island natives’ tribal stronghold. The bone fence that protected them was already smashed into ruins.

And that wasn’t all.

The natives, who had always lived peacefully, were now lying dead everywhere. Some of them were nothing but half-burnt bodies.

Pretty Boy from Skull Island: It’s my fault. I was too naive.

Kong blamed himself.

Even though he rarely interacted with the natives, they had lived together on the island as intelligent beings for decades. Seeing them end up like this, he couldn’t help but feel a bit sad.

Amegakure Village’s Angel: What was the reason? Why did the Americans attack the natives?

Pretty Boy from Skull Island: You all know about that American soldier from World War II who lived among the natives, right? He was the one who led them here. Out of respect for that veteran, the tribe’s chief let the American captain into the village.

Curly-haired Guy: And then? Did the soldiers go after the village girls?

Machete Girl: ?

Doujin Artist: Why is that always where your focus goes? You’re seriously messed up!

Amegakure Village’s Angel: That’s just Gintoki’s personality.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: A middle-aged man with no girlfriend, all he sees are girls.

Curly-haired Guy: What kind of crap are you talking about? I’m clearly just a young man! The middle-aged man you’re talking about should be Uncle Nine!

Lin Fengjiao: At my age, calling me middle-aged is giving me too much credit. I’m already an old man.

Soul Society’s Villain: ? If you’re already old, then what does that make me, an antique?

Doujin Artist: Hahaha! Just mention age and Sister Hana gets triggered!

Lin Fengjiao: Sorry, that wasn’t my intention.

Amegakure Village’s Angel: No need to apologize, Sister Hana isn’t really angry.

This is an Actor: Unohana just thinks you shouldn’t see yourself as old. You should keep a young mindset like her. Since you’re in this group, age shouldn’t be what decides who’s old or young.

Lin Fengjiao: I see, I’ve learned something.

Machete Girl: Ahem, looks like we got off track again. I’m still waiting for Rati to continue. After the American commander entered the village, what happened? Did he really set his eyes on a native girl?

Pretty Boy from Skull Island: It wasn’t the American captain. It was that old scientist.

Curly-haired Guy: Old? Damn, even old people have that much energy?

Pretty Boy from Skull Island: You misunderstood me. My ”interest” isn’t the same as your ”interest.” The old scientist found a special factor in that girl by accident and wanted to take her back to America for research.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Human experiments again, huh.

Saten Ruiko felt sick just hearing the words ”human experiments.” She had already seen too many bloody reports like that.

Amegakure Village’s Angel: So the native tribe’s old chief didn’t agree, and then a fight broke out?

Pretty Boy from Skull Island: Yeah, by the time I got there, it was already too late.

Wig Guy: Damn it, those American soldiers are worse than bandits and thieves!

Machete Girl: I remember in the original story, the main guy and girl were supposed to be decent people, right? They didn’t stop it?

Doujin Artist: Kotonoha-chan, you’re too naive. Even if they were good people, how could they stop it? Once the military gives the order, the war machine starts rolling. Ordinary people don’t have the power to stop that.

Pretty Boy from Skull Island: Exactly, that’s why I don’t blame them. But those American soldiers—Rati will never let them go!

This is an Actor: They haven’t left the island yet?

Pretty Boy from Skull Island: No, they’re still near the beach.

At that moment, Kong stood tall on the cliff by the beach, wearing a grass skirt and holding a long bone sword. With the Spiral Nine Shadows technique boosting him, his massive body—tens of meters tall—didn’t make a sound.

This is an Actor: Then go all out and kill them.

Anzen’s message was like a signal flare for Kong’s attack. The bone sword in his hand rose and shot toward the American soldiers preparing to board the helicopters.

Boom.

That massive body dropped from the sky like a mountain. The bone sword pierced straight through the cabin of an attack helicopter on the left, punching a hole clean through.

Kaboom.

The entire chopper exploded at once, flames shooting high into the sky.

”What... what is that?!”

”Oh God, oh my God!”

The American soldiers stared at Kong falling from the sky, their faces frozen in shock.

”Fuck! Fuck!” The black soldier with a cigarette in his mouth—Captain Packard—reacted quickly, shouting: ”Enemy attack! Fight back! Fourth squad, protect Professor Bill and get him out of here!” He raised his assault rifle and pulled the trigger.

Rat-tat-tat.

Gunfire roared, bullets raining down on Kong. But strangely, before they even touched his body, they were blocked by an invisible wall of energy, unable to move forward.

The next moment.

That invisible wall suddenly expanded in all directions, crashing down on the American soldiers around the beach like a tidal wave.

Bang, bang, bang.

The terrifying force spread out, hurling soldiers into the air and crushing them mid-flight into chunks of flesh.

This wasn’t Kido or ninjutsu, but pure martial arts.

Kong had created this qi shield through his study of innate energy—both offense and defense in one.

”Oh no!”

”It’s a demon, a demon!”

”God, I don’t want to go to hell!”

In an instant, the American soldiers lost all will to fight. To people who had never seen martial arts before, Kong looked like the devil himself had descended on earth.

Clack, clack.

At that moment, the helicopter carrying Professor Bill lifted off, speeding toward the outside of Skull Island.

King Kong’s face was cold and expressionless as he raised the long sword made from a beast’s bone. From top to bottom, he swung it down in one strike.

Buzz.

The sword energy shot out like a white streak, slashing straight toward the armed helicopter in midair. The unstoppable force cut the entire helicopter apart diagonally. With a loud boom, a ball of fire bloomed in the sky.
