The Genius Evolution Store

Those who witnessed the evolution couldn’t help but drop their jaws.

What had they just witnessed? Did Auric actually help those two people evolve at the same time?

They originally had a low opinion of Auric, but what if Auric was already capable of achieving such a feat? This meant Auric was just acting based on his confidence.

There was never any danger. Besides, this was the first time they had seen two people evolve at the same time. They had never seen any other evolution masters do such a thing.

If someone told them about it, they probably couldn’t believe it.

Auric nodded with a smile. ”Congratulations on your evolution.”

The two men were dumbfounded. They never thought evolution would be this easy.

”Wha—No!” Suddenly, Garry shouted in panic. He was also shocked by what Auric did, which took his attention away for a split second.

”!!!” Auric raised his eyebrows.

Reyes stood up and rushed to Garry. He had stimulated the wind energy that this person possessed more than he should.

”Move!” Reyes pushed Garry away and started treating the patient himself.

”!!!” The people’s hearts skipped a beat. They couldn’t afford to have such an accident.

Principal Galeon was already turning pale.

Fortunately, Reyes managed to handle the situation carefully, and the guy managed to evolve without a mishap.

”Huu...” Reyes let out a breath of relief. He turned around, looking at Garry with a cold expression.

However, he didn’t say anything and simply said, ”That’s the end of the match. I believe the winner is clear. By treating both of them at the same time, and even if we just look at the time they took to treat the patients... It’s obvious that Auric Elfe is the winner.”

Principal Galeon panicked. He couldn’t afford to lose so many resources. Their reputation as the number one university in this province would disappear.

So, Principal Galeon waved his hand and said, ”No way. He must be cheating.”

Reyes frowned. ”Cheating, you say? If we’re talking about cheating, shouldn’t I say you’re the one who has cheated? You selected these people and claimed that they didn’t have a problem. However, the person with the extreme element had a problem with his thigh.”

”What?” Principal Galeon took a step back.

”What is this?”

”Principal Galeon cheated?”

”Isn’t this embarrassing?”

Principal Galeon raised his voice. ”I didn’t cheat. Besides, how did he even know if that person had a problem without even asking him? He was the one who cheated. He must have looked at their information. Besides, this information should come from the Evolution Association! I never thought the Evolution Association would be so biased.”

”Did you just admit that you were aware that this guy had a problem?” Reyes narrowed his eyes.

”No! You’re twisting my words.” Principal Galeon gritted his teeth. ”This was an unfair fight to begin with. Principal Fernandes was so shameless that he even sent out a third-year student.”

”What?” Principal Fernandes was taken aback, not knowing how he had even reached that conclusion.

”Don’t play dumb.” Principal Galeon snorted. ”He is not as famous as my student, which means he is not in his second year. That means he can only be in either his third year or his fourth year!”

Principal Fernandes blinked his eyes in disbelief. ”Can’t you even think of one more possibility?”

”What?!” Principal Galeon wasn’t the only one surprised. Half of the people in this hall couldn’t believe what they had just heard. One more possibility?

There was only one more possibility. Auric Elfe was actually a first-year student.

”He’s only 17 years old?”

”A first-year student?”

”But he’s already a bronze-grade evolution master? Not to mention with a 3-star badge?”

The people simply couldn’t believe it.

”Ah.” Auric took out his badge. ”Is this enough?”

”!!!” They were taken aback. Auric had indeed undergone a formal assessment. That meant Auric became an evolution master two days after his awakening.

Such talent was something they had never seen before.

Reyes and Maya remained silent, but their lips were twitching. They were doing their best to resist the urge to tell them that Auric wasn’t a bronze-grade evolution master but a silver-grade evolution master.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t do it.

”This... Isn’t this also a national-level talent?”

”That’s right. If he has this power, doesn’t that mean he can become a high-grade evolution master? I don’t know his limit.”

The people were astonished.

”Pfft. This is indeed an unfair fight. If we look at the talent.”

”No, no. If you look at the talent, it is indeed an unfair fight, for Auric Elfe, that is.”

”And Willimlie University had the nerve to cheat.”

”Allegedly... Well, this is embarrassing.”

Principal Fernandes walked to the stage and said, ”I’ve been silent this whole time because I want the student to take care of this problem himself. In any case, you’ve lost. I’m waiting for the five S-grade resources to come to my university.”

Principal Fernandes laughed out loud before putting his hand on Auric’s shoulder, bringing him back to his seat.

Principal Galeon gritted his teeth, while Garry was completely clueless about the cheating. However, the shock from losing, especially to someone with that much talent, was quite huge. It cast a shadow on his heart.

The governor, who had been silent this whole time, couldn’t help but shout, ”That’s enough.”

”!!!” They abruptly stopped talking and turned around.

The governor stood up and announced, ”I will ask my people to launch an investigation into whether this match is unfair or not and the relevant party will be punished.”

Principal Galeon’s body was shaking.

Meanwhile, the governor shifted his gaze to Principal Fernandes. ”It looks like Grand Magica College has found a talented kid this year.”

”Of course.” Principal Fernandes nodded.

Maya, on the other hand, glared at the governor as if warning him not to touch Auric. If necessary, she might use the connection of the Relesha family in the government to strip him of his job.

However, she had achieved her own goal, which was to make Auric more famous. This way, people would recognize Auric even more. This fame would come with a lot of challenges, but there were also a lot of advantages.

Not many people would dare to touch Auric anymore. And it would make people like Simon think twice before attacking Auric.

Auric was never really hiding from fame. This fame could also help him gain more credibility as an evolution master. It would be a good stepping stone for his Sun Store and Moon Store once he decided to reveal them.

The governor continued, ”Let this matter be put to rest.”

Of course, the governor saw Auric, but his original intention was none other than Tommiseus. He wanted to see the power of absolute fire.

He would become someone the world would recognize, so the governor wanted to take care of this mess quickly and see what Tommiseus could do

Now that the governor had stopped the commotion, the others had no choice but to follow it and continue with the competition.

They hurriedly cleared the stage so that people could continue the competition.

Principal Turner from Princedome University stood up. He had two choices. The first one was to wait until the people’s shock about Auric disappeared. This way, his Tommi could be introduced according to the original plan.

The second choice was to put Tommi on stage right away. He would get rid of Auric’s fame and etch his existence in everyone’s mind.

He chose the latter.

Principal Turner raised his hand. ”My student, Tommiseus, can now be challenged. To make it fair, you can only send a first-year student. There are no other restrictions.”

Tommiseus walked to the stage as Principal Turner wished.

Tommi was a man with long red hair tied into a ponytail. His expression was calm.

Auric squinted his eyes. ’He’s calm? No, he looks bored...’

Tommi never had a challenge in his own university because people were afraid of his absolute fire element.

Tommi glanced at Auric, but he soon shifted his gaze away. On the one hand, he wanted to fight Auric. On the other hand, it didn’t look possible. Auric focused on his path as an evolution master. Meanwhile, he focused on his path as a fighter.

If he challenged Auric, it was obvious who would be the winner.

However, the venue was silent. There was no challenger. They normally brought their second-year student, so they were not eligible to challenge him.

Meanwhile, their first-year student would be nowhere near Tommi’s level. If they challenged him, they would be defeated hard.

So, they only brought their first-year students so people wouldn’t think they were afraid of challenges, not that they were planning to challenge Tommi.

As if he had expected this kind of outcome, Tommi looked disappointed. Just like what happened in his university, there would be no challenger from another university.

Seeing no one was raising his hand, the governor opened his mouth. ”Since there is no challenger, how about—”

The governor wanted to send out his agent to test Tommi. He needed to confirm Tommi’s talent. That was why he was here in the first place.

However, Auric suddenly raised his hand. ”Since no one wants to challenge you, how about I accompany you?”

”!!!” The governor was startled. Auric was an evolution master, so it was inappropriate for him to fight.

Tommi said, ”You shouldn’t. We belong to a different path, so I don’t want to hurt you.”

”You look bored, so why not have a bit more fun with me?” Auric smiled.

”Even if I accept, this fight will be over soon. You have a plant element. My fire might end up harming you intentionally.”

”You don’t have to worry about that.” Auric smiled. ”Since you consider me an evolution master, I have to help a patient in need, right? You are bored, so I will help you relieve your boredom.”

Tommi was advising him so that he wouldn’t get hurt, but Auric seemed to be insisting.

He let out a long sigh. ”If that’s your wish, do as you see fit. I’ll try to hold back to not injure you. However, I have to thank your boldness.”

”No need to hold back. There’s no telling who will win until the match ends.” Auric winked playfully.

”Principal Fernandes. Are you sure about this?” Principal Turner asked. He was also worried about Auric, simply due to the elemental advantage that Tommi possessed.

Principal Fernandes chuckled. ”Yeah. You don’t have to worry about him. We intend to challenge you anyway.”

”Is that so?” Principal Turner thought for a moment. ”Do you wish to be the referee then?”

Principal Turner gave this chance to Principal Fernandes so that he could move even faster to save Auric..

Principal Fernandes thought it would make him look arrogant if he continued to reject him. So, Principal Fernandes nodded. ”Sure.”

”Sir...” The agent who was supposed to test Tommi couldn’t help but ask for the governor’s instructions.

The governor sighed. ”This is getting out of hand, but the two principals seem to have come to an agreement. We’ll observe for the time being. Hopefully, this talented evolution master won’t feel too down when he loses.”

Auric walked onto the stage again. ”Hello. I’m Auric Elfe. Hope we’ll have a good match.”

”I will try not to hurt you.” Tommi extended his hand. ”Also, thank you for challenging me.”

”Sounds like you are really bored.”

”There’s no one who plans to challenge me anyway. Because of the principal’s continuous protection, I can’t challenge the second-year students yet. So, it’s really boring.”

Auric couldn’t help but ask, ’Lindwurm. Does your element also affect your personality?’

Lindwurm shook his head. ”It’s the other way around. It’s your personality that affects your awakened element. The avatar you awaken will come from everything about you, including your personality.”

’I see.’ Auric finally understood what kind of person Tommi was. He must be an energetic and fiery person. Because he didn’t get any challenges, the fire in Tommi’s heart started to grow weaker.

Hence, Auric said, ”How about we make a bet?”

”A bet?”

”Yeah. By the end of this match, you will definitely ask me to be your friend.”

”Heh.” Tommi chuckled. ”Sure. What if you lose?”

”If I lose, how about I help you evolve for free?”

”Then what do you want from me then?”

”Who knows? I just thought this would be fun.” Auric smirked.

”Deal.” Tommi nodded. ”I’m Tommiseus Krembel. I hope you are as good as you think you are.”
