THE GOD EATER

In the first way that the 4-D prototype had become stronger, any attack he made could now increase the amount of Entropy that the target would incur to block by 17 time, not 13 times like before. So each of his attacks would behave like 18 attacks in producing Entropy in the enemy.

Secondly, the 4-D prototype’s size increased from 2,197 units to 4,913 units, which affected his capacity for Entropy, causing it to more than double.

Lastly, it increased the amount of divinity from the spark of power to 459 units. This benefit is particularly important to him now that he only has 37 divinity across his five divine attributes.

All in all, these changes increased his Entropy from 91,876,400 units to 279,843,200 units. After all, Entropy is Rank * Total Divinity * Total Volume of Supreme Metacs * Authority.

The last benefit of the experiments is the doubling of the efficiency of his Supreme Metac and the rate at which he would gain more efficiency.

”Speaking of the efficiency of Supreme Metacs, I really need to take some time to grind it. After all, it is one of the requirements I need to advance to two-star celestial.”

Other Dao Lords could only increase their efficiency with experience, which is slow. But he could brute-force an increase in his efficiency by using his Supreme Metacs again and again.

This brute-force method is also available to other Dao Lords. But it would cost a lot of lifespan to use. Plus, each activation of their Supreme Metac would produce Entropy, which they need to deal with.

He had a lot of lifespan and didn’t have to worry about Entropy, so if he spent some time working on this, he would definitely be able to achieve some success.

But when he thought about all of the things he needed to do, he sighed and thought, ’I really have a lot of work to do.’

’I need to make Supreme Metacs. I need to establish and expand my sect so that I can use my disciples to earn lifespan and farm Supreme Metacs.’

’Then I need to expand my Domains in the Sea of Worlds. To do that, I need to help large worlds become super worlds. I also have to invade that super world that Wandering Thief is hoarding like a child hiding his candy.’

’Finally, I have to repair that hammer artifact. Plus, I need to make more artifacts to increase my fighting capabilities.’

’I guess I can only take it one step at a time,’ he thought with another sigh. ’For now, let’s focus on establishing the Divine Mountain.’

”How do I do that anyway? Should I just try to activate the ability?” he asked as he tried to activate the Mountain Lord Ability.

Just as his will moved and the ability was activated, his body disappeared from the third dimension, and he found himself within his inner space. Specifically, he was standing on top of the golden top.

As he looked around, he said, ”This is new.”

Then the golden mountain appeared where his body used to be in the third dimension. He came along with the golden mountain still standing on top of it.

”Oh, no,” he said when he realized what was going on.

The golden mountain fell to the ground below with a big bang that shook the white landmass it landed on. Then it produced golden roots that sank into the white landmass, rooting the golden mountain.

The golden roots also extended throughout the landmass like the roots of a tree. They didn’t stop when they reached the edge of the broken landmass. Instead, they extended across the gaps between the broken landmasses into the nearby landmass.

The golden roots also penetrated the nearby broken landmasses. Then they pulled the pieces of land towards the golden mountain.

The broken pieces of land that were pulled joined with the first landmass, fusing them together and making one larger landmass. This continued for a long time until the golden roots had snagged and bound 0.1% of the total area of the Sea of Worlds.

During this process, the golden mountain was consuming his lifespan. It consumed 10 million years of lifespan, which wasn’t a lot to him, so he didn’t mind this. However, the golden mountain was doing other things that he very much minded.

As the golden mountain was establishing itself in the third heaven, it was also creating a channel between the third heaven and the second heaven. To be specific, the relationship was between the golden mountain and the River of Death.

A dark pillar formed beneath the golden mountain and penetrated the barrier between the upper and lower realms until it reached down into the River of Death. Once this channel was established, his Entropy began to decrease.

Apparently, the golden mountain was siphoning his Entropy and sending it into the River of Death. It was doing this at a rate of 10 units of Entropy per second. But it was also costing 10 years of lifespan per second to do this work.

”So this is how Dao Lords are supposed to offload their Entropy,” he said in enlightenment.

Then he looked at the River of Death in the second dimension and said, ”No wonder that place is so deadly. It really isn’t a place to be swimming in.”

The Mountain Lord Ability had been activated, and there were other benefits besides being able to reduce Entropy. If the price to pay for all of these was some lifespan, he wouldn’t mind at all. But he had to mind because everyone could see the black pillar.

Every divine being that could perceive and enter the second dimension would be able to spot the black pillar at a glance. They just needed to enter the second dimension.

However, Dao Lords didn’t need to enter a dimension to see what was in it. So every Dao Lord, regardless of where they were, could see the black pillar. They could also see the golden mountain.
