THE GOD EATER

Unfortunately for him, there was a slight hiccup with his plan. The problem was that he couldn’t find the rank 8 strength cultivator.

This made him curse and say, ”This reminds me. I can’t find whoever I want whenever I want in this place any time i want to see them.”

”If only I weren’t so strong. If I were still weak, I would be able to find him better with the Danger Sense Metac by going in the direction of danger.”

He had never met the rank 8 strength cultivator in this hunt because he didn’t want them to fight yet, so he hadn’t been able to mark Monarch Dragon Strength. Now that he wanted to meet Dragon Strength, it had become difficult to do so.

Time was also running out because Money Body had begun killing the members of his alliance. The rank 8 money cultivator killed Money Speed and Forced Exchange to stop them from being a burden to their reserve of life essence.

In his desperation, if Money Body or anyone in his alliance were to tell anyone about his true strength, the rest of his prey would be scared away. So he had to finish the party as soon as possible, or he would not be able to end the party on his terms.

Four minutes went by like this without any sight of Dragon Strength. But as luck would have it, he encountered someone else who could fill Dragon Strength’s proverbial boots.

He stumbled onto Monarch Dragon Transformation.

When Loki used the Power Identification Ability on him and saw the Dragon Mother Metac, he said, ”That’s weird.”

But then he shrugged and said, ”Beggers can’t be choosers.”

Compared to his reluctant behavior as if he was being forced to swallow a bitter pill, Dragon Transformation was very happy to see him. The rank 8 transformation warrior practically beamed from ear to ear when he sighted Loki.

As he smiled, he said to Loki, ”You look like you just ate something sour. That’s understandable. If you know what I plan to do with you, the expression on your face would be worse.”

When Loki heard his words, he rolled his eyes and said, ”Maybe I should torture you a little bit before we get down to business.”

Dragon Transformation thought that his words were offensive and snorted in displeasure before saying, ”Do you think I’m one of the pipsqueaks that you’ve been killing so far? I’ll have you know that I am beyond your wildest dreams.”

When he saw that Loki’s face still looked disinterested, he said with a sneer, ”No matter. Seeing is believing. Let me show you what you are in for.”

As he spoke, he activated his Dragon Transformation Divine Metac. This caused a giant phantom of a white dragon to appear around him.

The white phantom dragon roared into the sky. Then it roared at Loki. As it roared, fire poured out of its throat to engulf and burn Loki.

Dragon Transformation had four Divine Metacs, but he only activated one for this fight. This was because he didn’t think he would need more than one rank 8 Divine Metacs to defeat this dragon.

As the dragon flame poured down on Loki, he laughed and said with a booming voice, ”Hahaha. Look upon my great strength and weep.”

He expected Loki to be horrified. Actually, he expected a lot from Loki, such as Loki crying for mercy, rolling on the ground in pain, shouting in pain, etc.

The list of what he expected from Loki was short, and at the bottom of the list was Loki being horrified by the great power that he just displayed. This was because this was the least that he expected from Loki.

Unfortunately for him, his expectations were misplaced. What’s most unfortunate was that he didn’t know just how wrong he was until it was too late.

Loki jumped up, waving his fist like a hammer. Then he brought down the hammer on the phantom dragon.

In response, the dragon phantom popped like a balloon. The dragon phantom disappeared, leaving Dragon Transformation exposed to his fist.

At this point, Dragon Transformation was properly horrified. He immediately activated all four Divine Metacs. Because of this, the four stars in his Life Fire lit up in synch.

Unfortunately for him, Loki didn’t give him any more chances to display his strength. The hammer fist landed on his face and sheared off half of his face. Then Loki wrapped him in a cocoon of the black devouring forcefield.

After securing his second rank 8 prey, he snorted and said, ”What a talkative little pig. I hope he won’t be noisy later on.”

But then he saw the two cocoons, each containing a rank 8 cultivator. So his sour mood melted away.

The frown on his face was quickly replaced with a smile as he said, ”That should do. It will do nicely.”

Then he got to work cooking the two prize bull.

Unlike the usual food he had been eating at this party, these two need another round of cooking before they become tender enough to savor.

The first thing to do to get them to the finish line, where they would be good to eat, was to get their consent. After encouraging them, he will have to produce some special ingredients to cook them.

While he was doing this, the nine manifestations of Fenrir were also hard at work. Five of the nine manifestations had found top-grade rank 7 divine beings for him.

The members of the alliance of Money Body and Dragon Transformation would die soon, which would spook the other hunters. So he decided to go for the second-best option if the manifestations couldn’t find prime targets as soon as possible.
