THE GOD EATER

After the spirit of the Money Pathway made up its mind on who to send, it sent a message to the unlucky rank 8, saying, ”Go to the second dimension and find the dragon. When you find it, capture it and bring it to the heavenly city in the first heaven for punishment.”

”You have a month to accomplish this. Failure to do so would earn you a fine of ten thousand divine merit points.”

The spirit was satisfied with itself after doing this. This was because it no longer mattered if the dragon was captured or not.

What mattered was that the loss of Crystal City would be paid for by someone. That person who would bear the brunt could be the dragon or the person sent to capture the dragon.

All will be well if the dragon is captured. But if the dragon isn’t captured, all will still be well since ten thousand divine merit points are more than enough to cover the loss of Crystal City.

So the spirit of the pathway smiled in satisfaction as it said, ”I am such a genius. I was able to solve the problem of the loss of Crystal City and the accumulation of divine merit points at the same time. That kind of efficiency is unmatchable.”

Then it said wistfully, ”It is just a shame that it wasn’t one of the rank 8 cultivators and the alliance of Sword Way Sect, the Martial Body Sect, or the Nexus of Truth Sect that was destroyed. If it had been them, they would have lost 50% of their strength here in the Blessed Heaven World. That would have made them ripe for the taking.”

This was the fourth impact of the dragon’s actions. For now, it only made the sect send a more powerful person to hunt the dragon. It could have been worse, though.

If the dragon had killed a rank 8 cultivator and wiped out the alliance of that rank 8 cultivator of a sect with only two pathways and two rank 8 cultivators, then this fourth impact would be so much worse than it was.

The spirits of the Sword Way Sect, the Martial Body Sect, or the Nexus of Truth Sect surely wouldn’t want something like that to happen. But as the spirit of a sect with five pathways and five rank 8 cultivators, it wanted one or more sects to fall into a precarious situation in the Blessed Heaven World.

Unfortunately, it couldn’t get what it wanted. So it could only do its job. For now, the next part of its job is to inform the Dao Lord about what had happened.

After it sent a message upwards, it said, ”Anyway, I’ve done my job. I’ve sent a message to that fellow to update him about what happened. Hopefully, the death of one of his most precious slaves would get him to pay attention to what’s going on.”

If this action would lead to another impact, it was yet to be seen. But the repercussions of the fourth impact had already been felt by Loki in the second heaven.

Loki was looking for prey when he came across a large group of people. All of the people he encountered were giants. All of them were also skeletons.

They were giant black skeletons wielding giant weapons. Their weapons ranged from an axe to a club, and to a claymore. All of these weapons were large structures that normal people could call houses and live in.

Loki had seen this kind of undead before. So when he saw them through the eyes of the manifestation of Fenrir, he recognized them immediately.

As soon as he recognized the undead giants, he had a suspicion in his mind about who they could belong to. Fortunately, it was easy to confirm his suspicion. He only had the manifestation of Fenrir, who used the Power Identification Ability.

Race: Undead Giant

Rank: 8

He didn’t see any useful information from the undead giants. He already knew that they were rank 8 undead, similar to rank 8 divine artifacts. So their power would be dependent on whoever was currently controlling them.

The fact that they were here only indicated that whoever created them was involved. It didn’t expose the identity of who was currently controlling them.

Without definitive information about who he was up against, he had the manifestation keep looking for clues. A few seconds later, the manifestation spotted a crow flying above the army of undead giants.

As soon as the manifestation spotted the black crow, it activated the Power Identification Ability.

Race: Lich

Available Lifespan: 22,951 years

Cultivation Rank: 8

Cave Heaven: 2,891 million square kilometers

Body: 8

Soul: 8

Mind: 8

Will: 8

Insight: 5.5

Law Fragment(Amplification): 7,159,362,480(900%)

DIVINE METAC(RANK): Giant Zombie(8). Spirit Mark(8). Death Crow(8). Death Calling(8).

This amount of information finally enlightened him about the identity of the current controller of the undead giants. The sight of so much information about the target further impressed him, so he nodded his head in satisfaction.

This amount of information is actually normal for most cases. But it is abnormal to see this much information in the second heaven.

Usually, he can’t see the size of the Cave Heaven and the amplification of law fragments from the second heaven. This is because the environment of the second heaven suppresses the Cave Heaven of divine beings.

However, it seems the upgrade to Fenrir has made it capable of seeing more about the target, even if their Cave Heaven is being suppressed by the second heaven.

After he went through the list of attributes, he said, ”So it is Monarch Giant Zombie who came after me. What an honor!”

”I remember fighting a rank 5 cultivator who he supported to advance to rank 6. That woman was crazy, proud, and very crazy. I hope this one is not as crazy as that woman.”
