THE GOD EATER

Not only did those three reasons become unimportant, but now that she realized that she might not be strong enough to achieve her goal, she decided to forget about the loss to her Cave Heaven entirely. She didn’t even think about it while she was trying to rationalize her surrender.

But while starting a fight is easy, ending a fight is not easy. A fight can be started with only her will, but she would need overwhelming might or the permission of the other person to end the fight. Since this thief was unlikely to let her go easily, she decided to give him a reason to let her escape.

She activated her Shadow Clone Metac completely and used it to create many shadow demons, which she used to attack the thief. The shadow clones were endless. As soon as one died, she was already creating its replacement.

She didn’t care about the cost of producing the shadow clones at all. This was because she would come out on top in terms of lifespan as long as she was not struck by her enemy.

As long as the thief doesn’t injure her once, she won’t have to spend any lifespan to heal her injuries. On the other hand, her shadow clones are constantly injuring the thief, so the thief will have to spend more lifespan than her.

In a normal situation, this would be enough to force her enemy to give up. But this was unlikely to happen because the thief was getting closer to her faster than her shadow clones could reach him. So the thief would surely get to her before he gets tired of fighting.

This made her shout at her partner, saying, ”Are you just going to stand there and watch?”

The shout snapped Monarch Truth and False out of his stunned state. He immediately stopped thinking about that time he saw someone try to summon a fifth Divine Metac and was struck dead.

Then his eyes became filled with determination as he said, ”If it is a lie, I will break it. If it is the truth, I must get to the bottom of it.”

As he spoke, he activated all four Divine Positions.

The Analysis Metac focused on the thief and fed him information about the thief. He copied the information he wanted to use to increase his power with the Skill Copy Metac. Then he activated the Eyes of Power Metac.

When he activated the Eyes of Power Metac, all of the eyes on his body opened up. All eight of them opened up, which enhanced his power by up to 8 times.

Finally, he activated the Eyes of Truth and False Metac. This caused the black eye and the white eye to start glowing.

With the Eyes of Truth and False Metac, he made it become the truth that there were a hundred copies of himself. Not all of the copies were real. Most of them were fake. But ten of them were real and could attack the enemy, dealing real damage to the enemy.

It is difficult to tell which of the copies of himself is fake. This gets more difficult when the copies swap between real and fake every second. But this was not the end.

With the Eyes of Truth and False Metac, he made it so that some of the thief’s power became false. He targeted the Insight Stat in particular and removed its power from the thief. This way, the power of the thief will be reduced, and the thief won’t be able to tell which of the copies he made are fake.

With his preparation done, he joined the battle. Since the skill he copied from the thief was the strength of his body, he could only fight with his body. So he rushed towards the thief to engage in hand-to-hand combat.

Along the way, he also used the Eyes of Truth and False to enhance the power of the heart demons. He made it so that they were stronger, so some of his power was used to make them stronger. This didn’t weaken him, though. It only costs him more lifespan to use.

With the seer joining the fray, the thief was now both outnumbered and outmatched. Many Eyes was sure that he would be defeated this time. After all, there were no more enemies, and the enemies were also stronger.

Many Eyeyes didn’t see any reason for believing that the thief would surely be defeated now, other than the alternative being unbelievable. Monarch Shadow Clone also thought this. Only Monarch Truth and False had a cogent and logical reason for expecting victory.

Monarch Truth and False’s first reason for expecting victory was that he was using four Divine Metacs to produce a power output of 238,878,720 units of divine power.

The second reason his victory was logical was that he had reduced the thief’s power from 162,816,000 units of divine power to 104,202,240 units with the removal of the Insight Stat. Without the Insight Stat, the thief could only use four Divine Metacs, not five.

At this level of power, even Monarch Shadow Clone would be able to defeat the thief. But he had increased the power of the heart demons from 115,937,280 units of divine power to 206,110,720 units by making it so that four Divine Metacs produced them, not just the three from Shadow Clones.

So if there was common sense and logic in this world, the thief was doomed. This was confirmed when Monarch Truth and False smashed into the thief and blasted him away.

Everyone sighed in relief when they saw this happen. Even Many Eyes, who was not at the scene, exhaled heavily after realizing that he had been holding his breath all along.

With the thief now firmly suppressed, Many Eyes was able to relax and say, ”For a minute there, I thought that two rank 8 cultivators, both of whom are leaders of an alliance, would be defeated by some random thief.”
