THE GOD EATER

His voice was full of mirth as he said, ”I still don’t like that I have to make a deal to get it because I’m not strong enough to get it by force. But I’ll let them have their way now.”

He is going to these small worlds to get their hearts. Their hearts will then be used to create four new Divine Positions.

He had other small worlds that he could use, like the one he got from Lady Red or the one with Hammock on it. But he decided to go to those four small worlds because they are generally closer to the Blessed Heaven World compared to the others.

The four of them are also close to each other, so it would take a relatively short time to get to all of them compared to his options. Because of this slight convenience, he decided to give the Thorn House of Commerce another pardon for this timeline. But this is not something he plans to do forever.

He was still thinking about all of the fun stuff he would do to Money Body when he got the four small worlds. But as soon as he arrived, he stopped daydreaming and got to work.

He fused the three Divine Metacs that he had with the symbols of authority of the small worlds. He sacrificed the symbols of authority to the three Divine Metacs so that the outcome would be a Divine Metac of the Money Pathway.

He did the same thing with the last mutated Life Ability and the fourth small world. This fusion also produced a Divine Metac of the Money Pathway. The difference was that this four Divine Metac was a rank 6 Divine Metac, while the other three were rank 7 Divine Metacs.

This outcome brought a smile to Loki’s face as he thought, ’This is another benefit of advancing to rank 7. Fenrir can now produce rank 7 Divine Metac by fusing two rank 6 Divine Metacs.’

’If I advance to rank 8, this benefit will become better. With a World Power Ability at rank 8, I will be able to make rank 8 Divine Metacs by fusing two rank 7 Divine Metacs or fusing four rank 6 Divine Metacs.’

Because of this, he was in a good mood as he ripped out the hearts of the small worlds from the core in the third dimension. But the wills of these four small worlds were feeling the direct opposite of what he was feeling.

Some of them begged him to spare them, while others cursed him to death. But he didn’t care about anything they had to say.

He grabbed the hearts of the four small worlds and stored them in his Cave Heaven. Then he began the trip back to the Blessed Heaven World.

From here on out, he did things that were similar to what he did in the previous timeline. He returned to the Blessed Heaven World and used the four hearts of a world to create four Divine Positions.

During the process, no one interfered with the process. After all, the new Divine Positions belonged to the Money Pathway. The cultivators of the Money Pathway either couldn’t attack him without breaking their contract or were too afraid of messing with someone who had killed three peak-stage rank 6 divine beings a few weeks ago.

The only thing he had to worry about was interference from the Dao Lord for being greedy. So as soon as the first of the Four Divine Positions was created and descended into his Cave Heaven, he destroyed the Gold Body Divine Metac to remove its Divine Position from his Cave Heaven.

When the four newly created Divine Positions had settled in his Cave Heaven, he hurriedly devoured them. Then he activated the Rewind Metac to reverse time.

Along the way through the River of Time, he was feeling expectant about the outcome of the digestion of the four Divine Positions. He was also a little bit excited, but he wasn’t as excited as the last time.

His excitement wasn’t as intense as it was. He was more subdued, and his mind was even open to the possibility of failure.

As time passed by, he said, ”It should work now that I used four new Divine Positions. But it is also possible that it will fail. After all, the sect had raised me to rank 7 last time.”

”Maybe I need to advance to rank 8 with my Life Fire first before I can use the force organ to advance. Who knows, there might have been some special instructions in the previous four Divine Positions from the Supreme Metac that made them capable of helping me advance to rank 7.”

”If it is true and I need the Supreme Metac to artificially raise me to rank 8 first, I will need to earn 10,000 divine merit points. That’s far more than what I earned from Oceania, even though I hoarded most of the reward. So I might have to get creative with how I earn the divine merit points.”

”Maybe if I take the outpost mission on my own and I delay the completion so that the sect will have to pay me for every month that I spend there, I will be able to earn up to 10,000 divine merit points from it.”

”If that won’t work, I guess I will have to take more sect missions. There should be subsequent missions on Oceania, so I can use them to make up for how many divine merit points I’m lacking after the outpost mission.”

The possibility of failure made his thoughts spiral as he began working on contingency plans to fix the problem. He thought about what to do if the attempt to advance to rank 8 would fail, and he thought about what to do to overcome the failure.

But his thoughts weren’t limited to just the failure of the advancement to rank 8. He even thought about what he would have to do if the sect decided to ban him from advancing to rank 8 simply because he was growing too fast.
