THE GOD EATER

If there was one thing that he regretted, it was that he wasn’t a divine being of the Blessed Heaven World and couldn’t use the divine constellation to continue to torture the Thorn House of Commerce.

When he thought about this, he clicked his tongue and said, ”It is truly a shame. If I had access to the divine constellation, his death wouldn’t spare the Thorn House of Commerce. Not only would I be able to force them to block my inquiry and waste lifespan in the process, but I might even be able to discover what it is that they are hiding in the Blessed Heaven World.”

Then he leered as he said, ”I guess I will have to wait for next time. I hope for their sake that I am not stronger when that next time comes around.”

Actually, there is a high possibility that he will be much stronger next time he encounters the Thorn House of Commerce. After all, his current target is Slav, and if he can get his hands on Slav, he might be able to advance to rank 9.

Right now, he is using his full strength to rush towards the Blessed Heaven World. He didn’t hold anything back at all and was moving with a power of 54,835,200 units of divine power.

He is also in the Third Dimension, so with this speed, he is capable of covering a distance of 54,835,200 light-years in one day. With this speed, he will be able to reach the Blessed Heaven World in less than a day.

Behind him, the three seers found the small world that Money Armor had died trying to protect. Since there was no one protecting it and since the world likely belonged to the thief, Monarch Many Eyes decided to lay claim to it.

Many Eyes wanted to rip out the heart of the world and take its world essence for himself. But Monarch Star Divination stopped him.

She held an arm in front of him and suggested, saying, ”Since the thief was here, it is likely that this small world belongs to him. Why don’t we wait here for him to return? Then we ambush him.”

Eye Tracker didn’t think it was a good idea, so he said, ”There were two.”

Monarch Star Divination responded, saying, ”I know that there were two divine beings here. But they are enemies, and they fought each other. So we don’t need to worry that the other person will help the thief.”

”What we should be worried about is the power of this thief. From what I can tell, this thief is as powerful as a rank 8 cultivator. And a powerful rank 8 cultivator too.”

Many Eyes found this unbelievable. He snorted as he said, ”You’re telling me that a thief stealing small worlds is a great divine being? In what world can that be true when all the great cultivator needs to do is ask me for the worlds?”

Not only was it unbelievable, but he also didn’t want to believe it, even if it was likely the truth.

So he said adamantly, ”There has to be a mistake somewhere.”

But Star Divination shook her head and said, ”There is no mistake here. The thief is truly strong, and it seems he is a world king, which would explain why he couldn’t reach out to you to demand the small worlds.”

Many Eyes was stunned when he heard this. His voice was full of unbelief as he said, ”Are you saying that the thief who stole my worlds is not some cultivator to whom the location of my worlds was leaked? Are you saying that it was by pure chance and coincidence that he found five of my worlds in a row?”

Monarch Star Divination nodded and said in reply, ”I am saying that it is likely that the third found your world by chance. But what I truly believe in is that this world king has a Divine Metac highly suited for finding worlds. That would explain how he found your world and why he came straight to this world.”

The more Star Divination said, the more Many Eyes wanted to laugh. He was laughing because he found the whole thing amusing.

When he could manage to talk, he said, ”Here I thought I had a secret enemy watching my every move. But it was just a random world king stealing from me.”

”This is funny because my worst fear wasn’t the case. But my situation is still bad because there is nothing to stop this world king from finding the rest of my world.”

He was still laughing as he pointed at himself and said, ”I don’t know how he could find my world, but I know for sure that I can’t stop him even if I stand guard over my property all day long.”

Eye Tracker chose this moment to say, ”There was a money cultivator.”

In response, Star Divination immediately nodded and said, ”That’s a good idea. The enemy who fought the world king was a money cultivator, so this world might belong to the money cultivator. So if we find the identity of the money cultivator, we can ask them for information about the thief.”

”Plus, if the money cultivator is dead, we will be able to use the strength of the money cultivator to determine the lower limit of the power of the thief. On the other hand, if the money cultivator is alive, we will be able to determine the upper limit of the strength of the thief.”

”Either way, we will be able to get more information about the thief through the money cultivator. From there, we will be able to determine if we should give up or continue to pursue the thief.”

She had laid out a good plan, and he didn’t have a better plan, so Many Eyes could only agree. He sighed as he said, ”Let’s do that. Let’s stop tracking the thief for now until we know more.”
