THE GOD EATER

Money Body’s mind churned as he thought, ’Since the limit of the amplification of law fragments is 900% and the maximum number of Divine Positions he can have is 4, it should be impossible for him to produce a power like that. By common sense, it should be impossible for his injuries to require 546 years of lifespan to heal.’

’The only way it is possible is if he is using a special Divine Metac to increase the cost of repairing his injuries. Something like the Market Conditions Divine Metac, for instance. It is either a special Divine Metac or this guy is a rank 9 divine being.’

Then he shook his head inwardly as he thought, ’He can’t be a rank 9 divine being simply because a rank 9 divine being cannot exist in a pathway. Even if he were a rank 9 divine being, he wouldn’t be foolish enough to do something like this that would expose themselves.’

’Either way, he is stronger than me. He must not be allowed into this Cave Heaven at all costs.’

Outwardly, he was saying, ”No matter how he got his power, it must cost a lot of lifespan to use. I reckon that he has spent a lot of lifespan at this point, so he shouldn’t be able to keep up the pressure for long.”

”If we give him a way out, he should take the way out. After all, it is better to gain something from this fight than to fight and kill you for nothing.”

The six of them had varying expressions on their faces as they listened Of the six of them, Forced Exchange was the one who was paying the least attention to what Money Body was saying.

Forced Exchange was constantly experiencing pain from the punches of his enemies, and even his Life Fire was fluttering as if it was about to go out at any moment. So he wasn’t in the mood to hear Money Body drone on and on.

If not for the fact that Money Body could easily become a threat to his life, he would have asked Money Body to shut up. But since Money Body could kill him with a thought, he decided that it was safer to keep his unpleasant thoughts to himself.

Fortunately, Money Body finished his tirade before Loki could finish killing him. Then Money Body whirled and turned to him, saying, ”What you need to do is ask him to make a deal. Ask him for what he wants and give it to him in exchange for your life. If it is reasonable, we can come to an arrangement. Of course, he also has to stop investigating us.”

Forced Exchange’s eyes lit up when he heard this. In the physical dimension, he said to Loki, ”Please, let’s make a deal. What do I have to give you to make you stop?”

In response, Loki smiled and said, ”Weren’t you threatening me earlier? What happened to your Money Body? Where is he now?”

He asked three questions in less than a second. In that same amount of time, he also punched Forced Exchange in the face.

At this point, his face has been pressed into flat dough. The shape of his head has been destroyed, so that he looked like he had unfinished pastry for a head.

The recent punch had put another indent in his face. To call this painful would be an understatement.

Despite the fist smashing into his face, Forced Exchange tried to smile. Unfortunately, his face had become misshapen, so the smile came off as a grimace.

As he grimace-smiled, he said, ”Please forget about that. That was just me speaking rubbish. Don’t take it seriously.”

Loki hummed non-committally and said, ”If you say so.”

Then he smashed Forced Exchange’s face in one more time. This time, he caused the back of Forced Exchange’s head to crack open. Clearly, the pressure within his head had become too much for his skull to withstand.

And speaking of skulls, his had cracked beyond recognition. Even a broken plate looked better. After all, an attempt could still be made to put a broken plate together.

His skull, on the other hand, is better off replaced with something else. Even a bucket would do better for his head than the shattered fragments of his skull.

Now, Forced Exchange would like to curse at Loki for hitting him in the face while they were talking. But his life was on the line, so with a broken jaw, Forced Exchange said, ”About that deal, what do you think about it?”

Loki said, ”Right. The deal. I forgot about it.”

He didn’t forget about it. He couldn’t even if he were a mortal, since the deal was mentioned about two seconds ago.

Clearly, something else was going on, and Loki was avoiding the matter of the deal. But Forced Exchange didn’t attempt to point out that he was lying.

Forced Exchange strained his ears to hear what Loki had to say about the deal. His ears were ringing since Loki was constantly punching him, but he still tried his best to pay attention.

Fortunately, Loki did say something. He said, ”If Money Body is willing to tell me how to create a Supreme Metac, I might let you go.”

Forced Exchange nearly exploded in anger when he heard this request. But instead of exploding and shouting at Loki, he said, ”Surely, you jest. No one knows how to create a Supreme Metac.”

Loki chuckled when he heard what Forced Exchange said. Then he chuckled and said, ”Other people might not know, but I’m sure that your boss knows. Tell him that I know that he knows how to create a Supreme Metac.”

Forced Exchange didn’t believe that Money Body knew how to create a Supreme Metac. This was not him underestimating Money Body. He simply didn’t think it was possible to create a Supreme Metac. Unfortunately, he had no choice in the matter, so he had to report back and ask Money Body for it.
