THE GOD EATER

Then he shook his head and said, ”It can’t be. There must be something important that I can’t see. It should be what had happened under the river of death for three days. That means I have to go there and see what is under the black water.”

To be exact, he had spent 7,214,369 years of his lifespan on the 8 days of vision that he saw. He can afford to spend this much of his lifespan on anything, but he will never allow his lifespan to be spent on nothing or to be wasted just like that.

So he refused to accept that he had spent all of that lifespan for nothing. Unfortunately, he is currently busy harvesting worlds, so it will take some time before he can go to the Blessed Heaven World to see what Money Body has been doing in the river of death.

He had a total of 18 worlds to get to. Some of the worlds were close to each other, but most of them were far apart.

The five small worlds that the Thorn House of Commerce owned were close to each other. This was not a natural phenomenon. They were close to each other because the Thorn House of Commerce had actually moved the small worlds closer to each other.

The small worlds had been pushed through the void by a powerful divine being until they came together. This was to make it easier for one or two people to keep an eye on them and protect them.

As for the other 13 worlds, they were far apart. Their locations were random, including the location of the medium world. They basically spanned the entirety of the sea of stars, so it would take a long time to get to them.

Fortunately, he is very strong. With his full power at 74,256,000 units of divine power, he can travel 74,256,000 light-years in one day through the third dimension.

Since the Sea of Worlds is only 100,000 light-years across, he can go back and forth through the Sea of Worlds 742.56 times in one day.

There is also the fact that he got stronger with each small world that he visited. So the time it took him to reach the next world was always getting shorter over time.

If not for the fact that he actually had to spend time assimilating a world, and that the bigger the world, the more time he needed to assimilate it, it would take him less than a day to visit and plunder every world on his list.

Because of his overwhelming speed, he was done in less than a week. He even had the leisure to visit the edge of the Sea of Worlds.

When he got to the end of the Sea of Worlds, he realized that the edge of the world wasn’t some metaphorical existence. This was because the edge of the world turned out to be a wall.

The wall was a colossal black structure. In fact, the wall was all that he could see at the edge of the world. This was because the wall had replaced everything in front of him, including the empty void.

There was no up and down or sky and ground in the void. So the wall wasn’t a vertical structure built on the boundary of the Sea of Worlds. It was more like a spherical structure built all around the Sea of Worlds.

This made him say, ”It is like a shell around a nut. If that is true, then the Sea of Worlds is a spherical piece of reality with a boundary.”

Inwardly, he thought to himself in disbelief, ’This can’t be all of existence, right? If it is, where are the Dao Lords? Where are they looking at the Sea of Worlds from when they tore rifts into the world in the previous timeline?’

’I won’t be surprised if this whole place is a prison. In fact, something tells me that it is entirely a prison. Maybe the Sea of Worlds is like a farm to them.’

The possibility that the Sea of Worlds could be a farm and he was an animal being raised in that farm was something he could wrap his mind around simply because his Cave Heaven is also a farm and every living thing in his Cave Heaven is his livestock.

He believed that if he could raise a bunch of livestock stock in an enclosed microcosm that he created with his mind and the heart of a world, then it should not be strange to suspect that the whole of the Sea of Worlds is someone else’s property.

Besides this, he also had memories of a past life to indicate that the Sea of World wasn’t normal. He had memories of a universe that was more than 90 billion light-years across. He had also seen stars, solar systems, and galaxies in that universe.

On the other hand, the Sea of Worlds was small, lacked stars, and didn’t have solar systems or galaxies. The Sea of Worlds also had a definite boundary at its edge, so there was nothing anyone could tell him to convince him that the Sea of Worlds was all that there was in the universe.

However, no matter how suspicious he was of the reality he was living in, there was nothing he could do about it. At the very least, he would need to be a Dao Lord before he could have the strength to verify the limit of existence.

For now, all he can do is watch, listen, and grow stronger. In order not to miss any information, he activated the Power Identification Ability on the wall.

The Power Identification Ability didn’t pick up anything, though. But another thing that he noticed was that he couldn’t reach the wall.

He could see the black wall, but he couldn’t get close enough to touch it. No matter how much he tried to move close to the wall, the distance between him and it didn’t change.
