THE GOD EATER

Loki explained by saying. ”Aren’t you losing life span right now? You are losing lifespan from something i did to you. Therefore, I have already attacked you. The rest is up to you. Do you attack me or not?”

Monarch Forced Exchange’s frown deepened when he heard this. He was frowning because he felt that everything was under his control, yet Gold Body felt confident for some reason.

Just to make sure that they were on the same page, he said, ”I am stronger and faster than you, so you can’t escape from me. I also have helpers on the way right now. What makes you think that you can get out of these alive?”

In response to the question, Loki tilted his head to the side and said, ”This battle isn’t between us. It is between our respective backings.”

Forced Exchange thought that he was speaking in riddles, so he said, ”What nonsense are you speaking?”

But Loki didn’t reply. His silence made Forced Exchange’s thoughts run amok.

He thought about many things, most of which he deemed to be useless. But then he thought about how Loki had gained sudden strength.

When he remembered this fact, his eyes lit up, and he said, ”So you’re part of an alliance. In that case, you should also have reinforcements on the way. In fact, we might currently be running towards your helpers. I see.”

As he spoke, he looked towards Loki to see his reaction or hear him say something. But Loki only chuckled. This reaction was of no help in helping him determine if he was right.

So he said, ”No matter. There is no need to delay this any further. Let’s end this.”

Even before he finished speaking, he had activated the Forced Exchange Metac. As soon as Forced Exchange made a move, Loki felt a strange, invisible power sweep through him.

The power of the Forced Exchange Metac passed through his body and went through to the core of his Cave Heaven. Then it grabbed the Life Fire created by the fusion of the Gold Body Metac and the Divine Position.

This made Loki shake his head in awe, ’This Forced Exchange Metac is truly something. Not only has the sect given it too much power, but its user is also very powerful.’

Forced Exchange had attacked him with a power that was 6(Cultivation Rank) × 6(Will) × 6(Forced Exchange Metac) × 2,843 million(Cave Heaven) × 10(Law Fragments), which is 6,140,880 units of divine power.

This kind of power is 9.2 times stronger than the 667,440 units of power that he possesses. If he had killed Money Construct, the difference in their power would be even greater. This power of 6,140,880 units of divine power would be at least 11.4 times stronger than his.

Not that it made any difference how much stronger Forced Exchange’s power was, because what mattered was that Forced Exchange’s power was greater than his. Since he couldn’t block the power, Forced Exchange was free to take the Gold Body Metac.

The only thing the extra power he saved by keeping Money Construct alive does for him is to make it difficult for the reinforcement from the Thorn House of Commerce to catch up to them and gang up on him.

He felt that Forced Exchange was cheating like this by having superior firepower and helpers on the way to join the fight. Unfortunately, he had no choice but to deal with the consequences, no matter how unfair it was.

If Forced Exchange takes the Gold Body Metac, he will be weakened. The absence of the Forced Exchange Metac will also reveal that he has other Divine Metacs.

The fact that none of his other Divine Metacs belong to the money pathway might also be exposed. Since he didn’t want to expose the fact that he can use more than one pathway, he had to make a move to stop Forced Exchange or force Forced Exchange to give up.

As it is, he doesn’t have the power needed to stop Forced Exchange. Forced Exchange is too fast, so unless he uses something like the Mind Freeze Metac, he won’t be able to touch Forced Exchange at all.

Since he doesn’t want to expose the Mind Freeze Metac, he can only choose to make Forced Exchange give up. This is going to be difficult to do since Forced Exchange has spent 550 divine merit points. But it is his only hope and his only choice that won’t lead to an escalation of his problem.

So after the Forced Exchange gripped the Gold Body Metac, he refused to let it go. He decided to hold on to it while Forced Exchange tried to pull it out of him.

The two of them began pulling on the Gold Body Metac like they were in a tug of war. Because Forced Exchange was the stronger party here, he began losing his lifespan for every second of being stubborn.

The specific amount that he was losing was 60 years of lifespan every second. On the other hand, Forced Exchange was losing 6 years of his lifespan for every second of maintaining the tug of war on the Gold Body Metac.

But this wasn’t all of the means of the loss of lifespan for Forced Exchange. Forced Exchange was also losing 6 years per second through the Siphon Ability. This came up to 12 years per second.

The third source of the loss of lifespan for Forced Exchange was the fact that he was using his Divine Metac to amplify his speed so that he could keep up with Gold Body. This cost added an extra 6 years or lifespan for him.

Then there was the inquiry that Loki was still doing. Loki wanted to know everything about the Thorn House of Commerce that Forced Exchange had a hand in, but Forced Exchange blocked his inquiry.

This inquiry was also costing Forced Exchange about 100 years of his lifespan per second to block. So, Forced Exchange was now consuming 118 years of lifespan per second.
