THE GOD EATER

So Loki’s power was initially 4.15 times greater than his. But after Loki absorbed Monarch Money Construct’s power through the Vengeful Bones Metac, his power jumped from 537,840 units of divine power to 667,440 units of divine power.

This made him five times stronger than the Monarch Money Construct. This difference in power is the sort that would make even the most insane person hesitate.

This people were not insane. They were smart, so after a while they would realize the error of their way, take a step back, and rethink their plan. This was why Loki decided not to give them time to realize that something was wrong. He moved to strike someone die as soon as possible.

The first person he attacked with this great power was Monarch Life’s Worth. He flashed over to her and struck her with his fists three times in the Blink of an eye.

His fists flashed through the gap between them, sank into her body, and retracted like the pistons of an engine. In response, her body deformed like flour dough and caved in without resistance.

He was poised to strike her 100 times in one second, but he only managed to hit her three times in one second. This was because she ran out of lifespan in three hits, so her body scattered into dust, and there was nothing left for him to hit anymore.

As soon as she died, the mark he had placed on her Divine Metac within the core of her Cave Heaven transformed into a seal that trapped her Divine Metac. She hadn’t destroyed her Divine Metac because she thought it would be safe after her death. But this was what he wanted her to think, which is why he didn’t use the Siphon Ability on her.

While this was happening, Loki was already rushing toward Monarch Wealth Status. This divine being was already running away after he witnessed Loki’s sudden burst of power.

When Loki had been running away from them, he was using just the Gold Body Metac to empower himself. That made his 6(Cultivation Rank) × 6(Body) × 6(Gold Body Metac) × 83 million(Cave Heaven) × 6(Law Fragments), which is 107,568 units of divine power.

So with his sudden boost in power, he had suddenly become 6 times stronger. This sudden outburst convinced Monarch Wealth Status of what he suspected about how the new Gold Body wouldn’t be easy to deal with.

When this sudden outburst of power was combined with the fact that he had been weakened by his own Divine Metac and the fact that he couldn’t do anything to Gold Body with his Divine Metac, he chose to run away at the first sight of danger.

His decision to run away before Life’s Worth died was the correct choice. But it was a choice made too late.

He should have run away when his Divine Metac first failed. Now that Loki had revealed his strength, it was too late for him to run.

Loko caught up to him and struck him with his fists. His two fists caused sonic booms through the world and caused explosions as they struck Wealth Status’s body.

The man offered no resistance whatsoever. The gap in their power was just too wide. He was currently crippled, so Loki was over twelve times stronger than him. With this kind of gap between them, he could only let Loki beat him to death.

As for the remaining two, one of them had become spooked, while the other one was still being stubborn. Monarch Money Construct was the one who was spooked.

At this point, Monarch Money Construct knew that Loki had been toying with them earlier. So he didn’t waste time choosing to run. He also didn’t bother to block Loki’s inquiries so as to preserve his lifespan for more important things like healing injuries from punches.

Because he had stopped blocking Loki’s inquiry, Loki discovered that Monarch Money Construct was actually a member of the Thorn House of Commerce. However, he hadn’t sacrificed his Cave Heaven to Money Body yet. So he was like Gold Body in this regard.

Loki laughed when he saw this information. Then he said, ”It is too late.”

As he spoke, he was already rushing after Monarch Money Construct. He left Forced Exchange behind to kill this other money cultivator.

Forced Exchange had also been caught off guard by Loki’s power, but he still had more confidence in himself because of his large Cave Heaven. There was also the fact that two members of his alliance were on their way to help him.

The only thing that worried him was the power that was making him lose 6 years of his lifespan every second. But he had a long lifespan and could borrow more lifespan from the others in his alliance. Plus, he felt that if he killed Loki, he would be able to put a stop to this power draining his lifespan.

With these kinds of resources in hand, he didn’t want to give up on the hunt and run away just yet. He also didn’t want Money Construct to run away, as that would leave only him fighting Gold Body.

He wanted someone else to help him hold Loki back, so he shouted to Money Construct, saying, ”Don’t run. Stand and fight him. I have some helpers coming, so we only need to hold on.”

These words were sent as a message through the divine constellation, so Loki didn’t hear them. However, the words and the secrecy didn’t seem to be of any use because Money Construct refused to stop.

Money Construct continued to run. As he ran, he said to Forced Exchange, ”I can’t hold on until then.”

This was the truth. He wasn’t lying about this. He didn’t really think he could hold on until then, but it isn’t the only reason he chose to run. There was an even more important reason he was not willing to wait, but this had nothing to do with the dangerous Gold Body.
