THE GOD EATER

She considered the possibility of her enemy running out of energy as her best option. As for encountering an ally who would help her, she doesn’t count on that at all. This is why she continued to run around in circles in the same place, so that they won’t go somewhere else where she might encounter a rank 5 enemy.

Meanwhile, Loki was still approaching the manifestation of the hammer. This manifestation has been in the same place, high in the sky, so reaching it has been straightforward.

There also hasn’t been any ambush on the way here. He has encountered some enemies whom he killed. But no one has been lying in wait to take him by surprise.

All of these ensured that he was able to reach the manifestation of the hammer. But after he crossed the final stretch of the road to reach the wielder of the hammer, he found no one there.

He was in the forest with the manifestation of a hammer above him in the sky. He expected to find other people from the Four Directions Sect and the owner of the hammer here, but the whole place was quiet and empty.

He looked around for a while, but there was no one in sight. This made him say to himself, “Where is everyone?”

Just as he said this, he felt something touch him in the back. Whatever touched him was also so strong that it was about to breach the defense of his armor. So he knew he was in danger.

His face became tense, and he produced spears from his back to turn himself into a porcupine. He even coated the edge of the spear with the power of the Space Tear Metac.

This move worked as the person behind him was immediately skewered by the spears on his back. A voice of surprise came from his back, saying, “What?”

Then there was nothing back. The silence was accompanied by the notification from the sect that he had earned 4 grade 4 merit points, which made 16 points in total.

After gaining some distance, he looked back to see what he had killed. But he saw only a knife on the ground. There was nothing holding the knife.

But as he watched, the Invisibility Cloak around the target lost its effect because of the death of its user. So the person holding the knife was finally revealed.

His eyes shrank when he saw this. He said inwardly, “A deceiver? But why is a deciever here under the signal of a forger?”

As he looked up at the manifestation of the hammer in the sky, he said to himself, “Please don’t be what I think it is.”

Unfortunately for him, it was what he thought it was. The hammer still looked harmless in the sky, but when he used the Power Identification Ability on it, something that should be made of energy and not even a Metac actually showed the information of a person.

Race: Human

Dao Status: 5

Energy Quantity: 90

Energy Density: 20.

Energy Rank: 5.

Body: 1.

Soul: 1.

Mind: 5.

Will: 5(26%)

Skill: 500%.

Metac: Mimic.

Just as he saw this, he heard a voice from the manifestation of the hammer, saying, “Impressive. You killed your ambusher and quickly identified the source of the problem.”

The voice was androgynous, so he couldn’t tell if the speaker was a woman or a man.

But he knew that things were much worse than he expected when the hammer said, “Looks like we’ve caught ourselves a big fish.”

Loki turned to run, but as he looked around, he saw that the forest had disappeared. The trees that made up the forest were long gone and had been replaced by cultivators with a black mist obscuring their figures. So he was surrounded.

This made Loki say to himself, “So these are the ’we’ that he was referring to.”

As it turned out, he was surrounded by over 20 rank 4 deceivers, and there was a rank 5 deceiver. So it is clear that they had laid a trap here and used the manifestation of the Life Ability of one of the rank 5 cultivators of his sect to lure him here.

To make matters worse, the giant manifestation of the black hammer in the sky said, “You’re a big fish indeed. Too big for the others to kill. So I must make a move.”

Then the hammer fell from the sky onto him. It fell with a power of 5(Dao Status) × 5(Dark Mist Core Metac) × (5(Mind) + 1(Body) + 90(Energy Well)) × (5(Dark Amplification) + 5(Mimic) + 5(Energy Solidification) +5(Shadow Attack)) × (500% Overdrive + 90% Energy Nexus), which is 283,200 units.

In return, he rose to air to punch the falling hammer. His goal is to withstand one blow from the hammer before using the gap in the now vacant sky to escape from the encirclement of the deceivers.

He didn’t dare underestimate the power of this rank 5 and used every power available at his disposal to resist. So the power of his fist was 4(Dao Status) × (4(Telekinesis Metac) + 4(Reversal) + 4(Space Tear))× (5(Body) + 5(Life Ability) + 5(Mind) + 5(Will) + 450% Energy Well) × (5(Body Lever) + 5(Living Armament) + 5(Energy Amplifier) +5(Force Lever) + 5(Lightning Engine)) × (300% Overdrive + 450% Energy Nexus), which is 220,500.

His whole body and his fist were writhed in lightning, which made him terrifying to look at. And as it turned out, this wasn’t for show.

The power he was producing was high, but the power of the enemy was a little bit higher, so he was not able to knock the hammer aside and rush away.

He was knocked back to the ground by the hammer, but he wasn’t crushed and killed. This surprised everyone, including the rank 5 deciever.

They had all expected him to be blown to bits by that attack, but he was still alive and kicking. He was just injured and disheveled from his fall to the ground.
