THE GOD EATER

The golden giant chose to block the attack with his body. Since his body had a power of 4(Dao Status) × 4(Giant Bones)× (5(Body) + 4(Defense Amplification) + 90% Energy Well) × (5(Bull Strength) + 5(Crocodile Strength) + 5(Bear Strength) +5(Lion Strength)) × (400% Overdrive + 90% Energy Nexus), which is 15,523 units, the armor piercing bullets struck him and turned him into a sieve.

His Life Ability was supposed to increase his defensive capabilities and make him nearly unkillable by any rank 4 cultivator, but the bullets struck him as if he were an ordinary man, and even went on to strike the other giant behind him.

The two giants had lined up perfectly, so most of the bullets that struck the giant in front also struck the giant at the back. The only difference was that the power of the bullets had reduced significantly after hitting the first giant.

So when one round of shots immediately killed the first giant after striking his head, lungs, heart, and other critical organs, they only put the second giant in a near-death situation.

The eyes of their commander, Brock, opened wide in shock as he saw the giant that was supposed to be his shield get riddled with holes.

Even the pain of the bullets striking his body wasn’t enough to dull the surge of shock and surprise when he beheld this sight. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

As he watched the golden giant fall dead to the ground, he said with eyes wide open in shock, “How could this be?”

The golden giant was one of the best of the best in rank 4. He had Level 4 Dao Status, 90 units of talent, and had maxed out the overload skill at 400%. Yet the golden giant had died like a chicken right in front of his eyes.

He couldn’t do something like that. So it all felt like a bad dream.

But it wasn’t a dream. It was real and couldn’t be denied.

So he looked at Loki and said, “What are you? You don’t make sense.”

Loki smiled in reply and said, “I am your worst nightmare.”

Then he shot more rounds at them.

The giant falcon in the sky saw that things had taken an unbelievably worse turn, so she decided that the right thing to do now was to withdraw. But she wanted to take the commander with her before leaving.

Of course, Loki wasn’t going to let her have her way, so she had to do something to deter him. What she decided to do was to spread her wings wide and shoot her feathers at him.

As she spread her wings, a rain of sharp feathers fell from them onto Loki. But Loki refused to back down or avoid them. He braved the rain of feathers and continued his approach towards the commander.

Of course, he didn’t know that this was the commander. He was just unwilling to let his prey go, especially since he was about to kill the prey. So the rain of feathers smashed onto him.

However, much to the disappointment of the two giants, the rain of feathers did nothing to him. In fact, instead of slowing him down, he seemed to be getting faster.

Loki was using the power absorbed from the feathers to speed up. Each time a feather struck him, he saved the power and used it to accelerate.

This caused the giant and the falcon to panic. The giant had been blocking his vitals with his hammer. But when he saw that Loki was getting too close to him, he threw the large hammer at Loki. The head of the hammer alone was as big as a third of Loki. So it was much bigger than his head.

But size didn’t matter much. What mattered was the power of the hammer.

The giant had thrown the hammer with a power of 4(Dao Status) × 4(Giant Bones)× (5(Body) + 4(Strength Amplification) + 90% Energy Well) × (5(Rhino Strength) + 5(Bull Strength) + 5(Bear Strength) +5(Tiger Strength)) × (400% Overdrive + 90% Energy Nexus), which is 19,404 units.

This was clearly not enough to harm Loki. He grabbed the hammer head with one hand and smiled as he said, “That was a bad idea.”

Then he grabbed the hammer, swung, and threw it up into the air. The hammer flew through the air with a power of more than 50,000 units in the direction of the giant falcon.

As fast as the falcon was, it was too big to dodge. So the hammer struck it head-on.

All of the power of the hammer was discharged into the body of the phantom, and since the phantom couldn’t handle so much power, it exploded.

The hammer missed the transformation warrior at the center of the giant falcon, but this warrior didn’t escape unscathed. The explosion of the phantom caused a great backlash that caused the energy well of the warrior to crack.

The impact of the backlash was so great that the transformation warrior fainted and began to fall from the sky. This put them in a state where they couldn’t dodge or block the bullets that came after them.

The unconscious transformation warrior didn’t survive the barrage of bullets. They didn’t have a body of metal like the first giant, so their body exploded into a shower of blood, flesh, and bones when the bullets struck them.

After getting rid of the fastest one, Loki turned to the second giant and said, “Last but not least.”

The second giant said, “Are you a rank 5 cultivator?”

Without waiting for Loki’s answer, he said, “How did you enter the small world? You’re cheating.”

Loki ignored them and went on to grab his head and shoulders with his hands. He was much smaller than the giant, so it looked like a young boy was holding onto a grown adult.

But the giant didn’t feel like that at all. If anything, the giant felt like he was the small boy being manhandled by a grown man.
