The Forensic Doctor Better Than a Detective

Chapter 202: Chapter 151: Rare! Where Is the Head?

”Today, I announce that the case has been thoroughly solved, and the criminal suspect has been taken into custody.”

”Thank you to all the media friends for your strong attention and support.”

Instantly, the entire room erupted into thunderous applause.

Moments later, a young woman suddenly stood up.

She took the microphone and asked, ”First of all, thank you for your hard work in solving this case within just three days.”

”In solving the case in such a short time, did you use advanced technology techniques?”

Mr. Ma smiled after listening.

He said, ”Ma’am, thank you for your support and recognition of our work.”

”Walking a thousand miles, investigating crimes globally.”

”Regardless of the time, our Jiangcheng Police Team always holds the sacred mission of fighting crime and maintaining social stability.”

”To be honest, in the process of solving this case, we didn’t use particularly high-end technology. All the techniques used were the most traditional detective techniques.”

With a slight pause, Mr. Ma’s mouth curved into a smile, ”If you ask what was the key to solving this case successfully, it was the emergence of a very young detective in Jiangcheng’s criminal investigation department.”

”Detective?”

Upon hearing this word, all the media became interested.

Such news material was definitely in high demand.

Subsequently, the lady continued to ask, ”May I know the name of this young detective? Can you introduce some basic information about him?”

Mr. Ma smiled and said, ”His name is Jiang An, and he has been on the job for less than two weeks.”

”However, he has already solved several difficult homicide cases continuously in the criminal investigation team.”

”It is due to his impressive record and strong case-solving abilities that he is now appointed as the leader of the Homicide Spearhead Group.”

”This case, involving a double murder, was the first he encountered as leader of the Homicide Spearhead Group, and it was one of the most outstanding and swiftest cases ever solved in the criminal investigation.”

Instantly, everyone became full of curiosity about this young Jiang An.

Moments later, another girl, wearing glasses and a ponytail, stood up and asked, ”Mr. Ma, is there a chance to interview Jiang An, the leader of the Homicide Spearhead Group? We all eagerly want to witness the prowess of the detective.”

Upon hearing this, Mr. Ma turned and glanced at his secretary.

minute later, the secretary walked over and reported, ”Mr. Ma, Jiang An has gone to the industrial park to examine a crime scene.”

Subsequently, Mr. Ma said, ”Dear media friends, I am truly sorry.”

”Comrade Jiang An is not at the bureau; he is at the industrial park conducting an on-site investigation of a case.”

”However, I believe that there will definitely be opportunities to engage with this young detective in the future.”

Finally, Mr. Ma said, ”I believe that with such excellent criminal investigation talents continuously joining the police team.”

”Our Jiangcheng Police Team will be more dynamic, more combat-capable, and more confident in safeguarding the safety of Jiangcheng.”

Meanwhile.

In the traffic police team’s conference room, it was filled with traffic police officers, each with a solemn expression.

Mr. Qin began, ”Since everyone is here, let’s start the meeting.”

”Some of you may already know the theme of this meeting.”

”Today’s meeting is a reflection session, as well as a self-review session.”

”Everyone is quite familiar with the traffic accident case that occurred on the southern city highway two days ago.”

”However, the outcome of handling that case was in complete opposition to the truth.”

”In hindsight, it sends chills down my spine.”

”We nearly wronged an innocent person and covered up a truth.”

”To us, it may have been just an error in judgment.”

”But for the truck driver involved, it was a matter of great magnitude.”

”He not only had to bear high compensation but also faced imprisonment.”

After a slight pause, Mr. Qin said, ”Therefore, since I learned the truth, I have been unable to sleep well for several days, feeling deeply guilty.”

”The main reason we were able to stop before making a grave mistake was because Comrade Jiang An, the leader of the Homicide Spearhead Group from the criminal investigation team, discovered an issue with the cause of death.”

”He found needle marks on the corpse, uncovered the real cause of death, and finally determined it was a case disguised as a traffic accident.”

”Looking back, had it not been for the keen insight of Leader Jiang An, discovering the culprit’s deceptive ploy, the truth might never have been revealed.”

”Through this matter, what I want to discuss with everyone is how we can prevent similar occurrences in our future work.”

Upon hearing this, the attendees began murmuring among themselves, with many sighing helplessly and shaking their heads.

Then, Mr. Qin waved his hand to signal everyone to quiet down.

He continued, ”I know some of you might say that issues related to the corpse are not our specialty as traffic police.”

”However, in the process of handling traffic accidents, there are also significant issues within our own operations.”

”We didn’t reconstruct the death process because those involved couldn’t clearly recall the accident’s occurrence.”

”However, during my discussions with Leader Jiang An, he was able to reconstruct the entire death process based on the traces and physical evidence at the scene.”

”In a traffic accident, apart from the corpse, there are many elements worth researching.”

”For instance, the driver’s braking action, the pedestrian’s self-protective fall, and even the impact site—he could clarify them all.”

”Honestly, in my view, these are areas we need to work on and delve into.”

”Returning to the case itself, we found tire imprint marks on the victim, which only indicated that the tires ran over the corpse.”
