Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 542: Incorporating the Primordial Spirit, Help from World Tree

Using Axiom power was a highly viable solution to force the evolution into a primordial spirit.

After breaching the sixth rank, his ultimate goal was to ensure his entire foundation relied exclusively on Axiom power. It possessed the sheer capability to overpower even ascendancy power. This was an energy that could alter the very concept of evolution forever.

Just thinking about the possibilities ignited a thrill within him. But mere excitement would not yield tangible results. He immediately retreated to the Creator Space to conduct his experiments. Since the fighting spirit was a direct byproduct of willpower, a force capable of severely altering reality, Axiom power naturally served as a highly compatible catalyst alongside one’s own sheer will.

Axiom power could drastically bend reality, as proven by how effortlessly he had dismantled Shroud Heaven’s ascendancy power. It was the absolute pinnacle of energies.

Grey initiated the ascension sequence within his simulation clone once more. As soon as the metamorphosis energy manifested, soul and frequency seamlessly merged. A visible soundwave ring pulsed around the clone. Just as quickly, an abstract, shifting light blinked into existence as Axiom power formed and violently surged into the construct.

Boom!

The following moment, it violently exploded into a shower of raw data.

”The fighting spirit shattered?” Grey murmured in surprise.

He had instructed the clone to aggressively channel all of its available power directly into the fighting spirit. Perhaps the raw influx was the primary issue. Grey recalibrated the simulation parameters. This time, he adjusted the flow of the Axiom power, guiding it to merge gently and smoothly.

Then, a crucial realization hit him.

”Wait. The law of spirit is the foundational building block of a fighting spirit. If a path strider does not comprehend it, how will they even form a primordial spirit in the first place?” Grey paused his simulation.

He had almost overlooked that glaring prerequisite. Comprehending the law of spirit was far easier said than done for ordinary evolvers.

Before jumping to conclusions, he decided to fully test his newly adjusted theory. He meticulously combined the Axiom power and the law of spirit into the clone’s fighting spirit. The following instant, a resonating soundwave ring formed around it, directly linking to the transcended source of the clone.

The newly forged primordial spirit sank deep into the source and perfectly merged with it, sitting comfortably in the center of the six unlit evolutionary sparks.

Unexpectedly, he observed a profound mutation. The primordial spirit radiated a soothing wave that continuously washed over the six sparks.

After conducting a deep systemic analysis, Grey realized exactly what had transpired.

”It passively increases the efficiency of spark generation and stabilization,” Grey noted in pleasant surprise.

The primordial spirit was one’s pure essence, acting as a second life if the primary body perished, but now he was witnessing its incredible utility in cultivation.

”The stabilization effect has increased by at least three hundred percent compared to the initial base levels.” Grey was highly satisfied with the flawless results.

Incorporating the law of spirit was undeniably the correct approach.

Now came the most critical task: integrating the power of spirit so that everyone who followed his unique evolutionary path could actually forge a primordial spirit of their own.

”It is too late to fundamentally alter the early stages of the path now. However, I can engineer it so that every strider automatically forms a fighting spirit using a synthesized law of spirit. That way, the moment they attempt to breach the sixth rank, it will seamlessly evolve into the primordial spirit.”

For this monumental task, he already knew exactly who to call.

He retrieved the smooth, glowing Nine-Colored Soul Nourishing Jade he had received in the cloudy realm.

”Hello, are you there?” He gently injected his frequential power into the jade. Soon, a respectful voice echoed in his mind.

”How can I help you, Perfect One? I am honored to be of assistance.”

”I need the direct support of the law of spirit to systematically power my evolutionary path. Can you help with that?” He quickly filled the World Tree in on the complex details of his plan.

”No problem,” the tree replied cheerfully. ”I can easily arrange that.”

”Then, please begin.”

Grey anchored himself fully into the Creator Space, and moments later, a vast, ancient power carrying the pure essence of the World Tree descended.

”I also added in a small automated reward,” the World Tree noted. ”When one successfully forms a primordial spirit through your path, they will automatically be granted minor comprehension in the law of spirit. That way, it will be much easier for them to cleanly control their new state.”

”Damn...” Grey muttered, genuinely surprised.

How was it that, out of every ancient entity he had encountered so far, the World Tree was by far the most generous? He felt slightly conflicted about it. It consistently handed him incredibly valuable freebies, like granting him the Soul Nourishing Jade, boosting his law cultivation to advanced succession in the bamboo forest, and now directly upgrading his evolutionary path.

Still, it was undeniably helpful.

”Thank you, World Tree.”

With this massive update secured, he no longer had to worry about his path striders missing out on a fundamental law.

”The sixth rank will be a massive qualitative leap,” Grey nodded.

He swiftly finalized the systemic update to his path. Now, even a mere second-ranker could awaken a rudimentary fighting spirit, which would passively grow stronger until it blossomed into a true primordial spirit at the sixth rank.

Satisfied with the clean, optimized results, he exited the Creator Space.

Soon after, Alan Benson came to find him. He was eager to enter the information layer.

”Alright. I believe it is time I granted you access to the information layer,” Grey smiled. ”Data energy is required to act as the key in your case, and you easily meet the mental criteria to handle it.”

As he spoke, his comprehensive mind began compiling a brand new technique. When activated, it naturally generated data energy, the fundamental power required to seamlessly access the information layer. He also carefully coded in a safety protocol, allowing the user to securely anchor their consciousness within the layer to prevent getting lost.

He named it the Information Layer Transcendence Technique. It was a precise method designed to cross over into the world of infinite knowledge.

But before he handed it off, Grey issued a strict warning. ”This technique must not reach another person’s hands. No matter what. Understood?”

”Yes. I am ready to die to protect this technique!” Alan said earnestly as he eagerly accepted the small, glowing mind crystal Grey had just synthesized.

Mind crystals were specialized data-storage mediums designed to directly beam complex information into the recipient’s brain. Using his reality bending, crafting a clean, flawless crystal was a trivial matter.

Soon, Alan was able to successfully produce pure data energy by following the internal patterns mapped within the technique.

On the surface, it functioned similarly to a standard breathing technique. However, as Alan was an energy being, Grey had engineered the technique to completely bypass traditional biological respiration. Instead, energy beings simply modulated their internal energy flow to perfectly mimic the respiration cycle using pure energy.
