Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 528: Earth transmigrators

”Earth transmigrators and a multiversal organization of them?” Grey was baffled.

”How many are there?”

”We have more than a thousand members.”

Grey’s lips twitched violently when he heard this.

To think there would be this many Earth transmigrators.

”What do you guys do?”

”We go around saving other transmigrators and also keep each other safe from the Paragons. We have learned special powers that hide our aura as transmigrators. Some cannot do it. You, my friend, are automatically hiding your transmigration aura. No... it would be more accurate to say that even I, an Earth transmigrator, cannot sense your identity.”

Grey knew the reason. He was the Fateless One. Of course, he was not going to get anything from this.

”Now that makes me curious. Who is stronger? The High Elf Ancestor or you?”

Hearing this, the Spirit Ancestor calmly drank his tea. ”Me.”

”The High Elves cannot dabble in the [Law of Spirit] all too well, simply because I do not allow them to.”

”It was a rat race between me and the High Elf Ancestor. In the end, I emerged victorious and took over the domain of spirit and willpower of this universe.”

”Also, why are there so many Earth transmigrators? Who is behind our transmigrations? Do you have any ideas?”

”I am not sure myself.” The Spirit Ancestor shook his head. ”But the leader of our group is an exceptional figure, possessing even more power and status than you. He told us once that there is a being treating us as chess pieces and manipulating fate and reality itself to bring us outside the center of the multiverse instead of fully dying.”

Grey’s source skipped a beat when he heard this.

He remembered the recent incident with the True Dragon breathing technique never existing. Could it be the same person?

”Is there a way to identify this being? Like, how did this leader find out about him?”

”It was an aurora,” the Spirit Ancestor spoke. ”When our leader was in danger and close to death, a spatial aurora that defies the concept of the endless reality appeared in the void and stopped him from dying, teleporting him to safety.”

”That is how he became aware of it. He connected all the dots together and realized there was a higher power at play. Perhaps a power bigger than the Paragons themselves.”

’I was right.’ Grey’s source jumped when he heard the term ”Aurora”.

It was a spatial aurora that broke into the Milky Way galaxy that was covered by the turbulence born from the Chaos Source Codex and took away people that had an immense amount of fate.

’Who are you?’ Grey’s mind buzzed. He came to a realization.

He and the others were being played like chess pieces by this person, and this person knew about the Nexus energy.

This person was the one that showed him the path to Nexus.

Just who is he? Who is this being that is playing all the Earth transmigrators like this?

”Saint Grey...?” The Spirit Ancestor frowned when Grey suddenly went silent. ”Are you okay?”

He was an eighth ranker. Probing Grey, he did not find anything unusual.

”Nothing. I was just remembering something I forgot to do.” Grey gave a small smile.

”So, the Earth transmigrators. Can you take me there?”

”Right now?” The Spirit Ancestor looked at Grey calmly. ”You are too weak to even enter the headquarters of the Earth transmigrators.”

”The weakest there is an eighth ranker,” he said while shaking his head.

”We usually put the Earth transmigrators we find into our own managed universes. We have two thousand universes around us.”

”What?!” It was Grey’s turn to be shocked.

Earth people... they were really damn powerful, weren’t they?

He felt mixed feelings hearing about it. He was both proud and sad.

Proud that these people came from the same world as his, sad that he was still behind them.

He needed to grow stronger, faster!

”But Senior Spirit Ancestor, if I can ask. Why are there so many Earth transmigrators? Is our planet destroyed?”

”It is not.” The Spirit Ancestor shook his head. ”Several years ago, our leader divinated the year of our world. It is currently 2026 there, and things are going great with no supernatural occurrences.”

”The population has also reached a high level,” the Spirit Ancestor said.

”But that was divined several years ago, right? It should be more time now,” Grey said with a frown.

”Well. The time in the center flows differently due to certain reasons,” the Spirit Ancestor spoke. ”Even after several years here, only a few days must have passed there.”

”Oh.” Grey nodded. ”I guess that is fair.”

”Yes,” the Spirit Ancestor said with a smile.

”Now. I have some questions for Saint Grey. I hope you will not mind answering them.”

”Of course not.” Grey shook his head. ”Please ask.”

He first asked about the year grey died.

”2025,” Grey replied. ”Speaking of which... There is also someone else...”

Grey filled in the details of Lin Fang.

”Lin Fang?” The Spirit Ancestor frowned. ”I do not remember seeing someone like him.”

”Hm.” Grey fell silent hearing this.

”Whatever the case, we need to find him,” Grey added. ”If the Paragons find him, then it will be troublesome.”

”Indeed. It seems like you are well aware of the core of the endless reality and why the Paragons are after us.”

”Duh,” Grey replied while shrugging. ”How else would I know about the Paragons?”

”Fair enough,” the Spirit Ancestor said. ”The core, it has been explicitly accepted by all the Earth transmigrators that this core will belong to our leader. I hope you will not have any ulterior motives, Saint Grey.”

”He is our savior and the one that led us to the Ascendancy Domain.”

”I do not really care,” Grey replied with a smile.

’Because even if someone else got the core, if I am five meters near it, it will just fly towards me.’

Then, the Spirit Ancestor asked more questions and Grey answered them based on if it can be revealed or not. Of course, he kept the fact that his family were transmigrators a secret.
