Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 515: The Soundwave phenomenon created by soul power and frequency

”It has the exact same concept of stabilization and optimization attached to it.”

”Perhaps I can use the metamorphosis power?”

Speaking of the metamorphosis power, he honestly did not know where it came from or how it originally formed. But it was a fundamental force that evolvers gained access to at every metamorphosis level.

This very power was also what gave birth to the evolutionary stones that people used to change their paths.

”Do you know anything about it, Origin Will?” Grey went ahead and asked the Origin Will directly.

”Hell if I know. Not even the highest entities in the higher evolutionary worlds know the absolute answer to that question. You are entirely on your own here.”

”Could it come from the Ascendancy Domain?” Grey asked curiously.

”Maybe, who knows,” the Origin Will replied lazily.

”Do not ask me questions you know I cannot answer,” it added.

”Fine.” Grey clicked his tongue in annoyance.

Then, he shut off the path simulation and delved deep into the Chaos Source Codex.

He still could not perceive much of its full existence right now. But whenever he was in doubt or stuck at a brutal bottleneck, this Chaos Source Codex was where the hidden answers would lie.

He soon began sensing the minute ticks within the Chaos Source, and soon enough, he tuned his mind into a specific frequency. It was precisely the frequency he was looking for.

It was the 6th rank’s frequency of the Primordial Chaos Path.

”Take in the raw essence of chaos and combine it with the metamorphosis energy to form a spark? And these sparks will increase one’s power?” Grey frowned deeply.

This was not at all what he had expected to see.

”But wait. They use the chaos essence. Like the raw chaos from the universe outside the world barrier?” Grey was genuinely surprised.

The chaos essence outside was extremely dangerous. Even a 7th rank expert could directly disintegrate from the sheer destruction outside, but these ancient cultivators were actually creating a spark out of it?

”The notion of a spark... hmm.” Grey was deep in thought.

The sixth rank seemed to be all about finding the exact right combination.

That was what he identified from this ancient text.

He needed to combine forces.

”Should I try to combine the source, metamorphosis power and the soul for real?”

”Maybe that will answer my questions?”

He had an inkling as to how to form axes and sparks to stabilize a core, but before testing that, he wanted to see if it was actually possible to combine the soul and the source to create an entirely new power. As it stood right now, the source acted like a protective shield for the soul, nothing more.

He pulled his consciousness back from the tuning and swiftly began the simulation process. He reconfigured the clone once again and commanded the clone’s source and soul to forcefully fuse.

Unexpectedly, a visible soundwave ring formed in the digital void as the source, metamorphosis power and soul differentiated. Both of them began to glitch, emitting a harsh static noise as they violently smashed together.

Boom!

A terrifying, transcendental power flickered before Grey just a fraction of a second before the clone completely exploded. Multiple soundwave rings blasted outward, physically cracking the very fabric of the data reality. The underlying codes destabilized, and the virtual world began to glitch rapidly the exact instant this new power appeared.

Outside in the Creator Space, the environment and the people violently glitched. The entire world momentarily turned into cascading numbers and raw codes before forcefully stabilizing once again.

”What the hell was that? Did the Creator Space just glitch?”

”I think so.”

”What the hell?”

The scholars began panicking when they witnessed the reality-breaking phenomenon.

However, the instant Grey felt that fleeting power, his own source beat extra fast in his chest.

”Did you just sense that, Eterna? I wasn’t seeing things, right?”

”What was that power?” Eterna asked, sounding equally stunned. ”It drastically disrupted the fundamental flow of reality and also heavily affected the information layer’s parameters.”

Grey immediately became thrilled hearing her confirmation.

That was right. The power had actually disrupted the flow of reality, and the soundwave phenomenon just now had successfully given birth to a new power. Frequency and soul power had merged for a split second, birthing something entirely unprecedented!

[Your comprehension defies the heavens! By observing the similarities of frequency and soul, you have gained comprehension into ’???’]

Grey was even more thrilled seeing this system prompt.

It literally said ’???’.

Did that not mean this sort of power had never been discovered or recorded before?

His Chaos Lotus could easily identify Ascendancy power, but the fact that it could not identify this new energy meant something profound.

”Have I really fused the soul. metamorphosis power and source together?”

His source contained his mind, energy, and body, while his soul was his very conceptual existence.

Fusing them together gave birth to a whole new dimension of power.

”But why did it explode? Is it because the frequency and the soul power were not aligning properly?”

He knew it was not metamorphosis power as it was the main factor that kept the other powers together.

”How can I make them align?” Grey was thinking incredibly hard.

The power had only formed for a split second, but the fact that it formed at all in that brief window meant everything.

That meant for a split moment, those three powers did align perfectly.

He needed to closely observe the core pattern of these two powers and create a specialized technique to make both of them align permanently!

”Eterna, I know exactly what to do now.” Grey was buzzing with excitement.

”I need to understand the structural pattern of frequency and soul power. I need to understand exactly how they behave when forced together.”

Grey immediately got to work. There was absolutely no time to waste.

The behavioral pattern of these two powers is exactly what would give birth to the transcendental energy while fusing with metamorphosis power.

He felt that when they both aligned for that split second.

Then, he boldly used his own soul and source as the live study material.

His Chaos Lotus continuously flooded him with notifications, and eventually, Grey’s mind violently buzzed with realization.
