Chapter 846 - Indignation

When Kyle read the diplomatic notice, he could only sigh. ʼOf course. Oh well, whatcha gonna do? I already knew that something like this would happen.ʼ

Kyle looked at the object hovering beside him with furrowed brows.

The object was a tiny dark-grey sphere, which was surrounded by a spiraling storm of fire. The fiery storm was moving at incredible speeds while emitting tremendous heat, but the sphere in its center was surprisingly cold.

ʼItʼs not done yet,ʼ Kyle thought. ʼIʼm still missing quite a bit. Thanks to Death, I got pretty far. Most likely, Iʼm about 75% done, but thatʼs also the most difficult part.ʼ

ʼI wonʼt be able to finish it within a century.ʼ

Kyle took a deep breath in frustration. ʼIf you had just waited for 300 more years, I would fuck off. Why canʼt you just wait?! I mean, I understand why you canʼt wait. Itʼs because you donʼt know when I will fuck off. The last info you got didnʼt include my new comprehension speed. According to what I told your representative, I still need about 700 to 1,000 years.ʼ

ʼI would fucking love to tell you that I will fuck off in 300 years, but youʼre literally making it impossible! I can only contact you with a compliant Communicator. My Communicator from the Array of Stars would be compliant, but if I use it, you will know that Iʼm from the Array of Stars.ʼ

ʼI also canʼt get a new one because I would have to leave the Secondary Sector to get one, and on top of that, it would also have my aura signature, which would also tell you about my identity.ʼ

ʼSure, I could contact Wave of Freedom, but itʼs already too late. Theyʼve already invested a couple of centuries of their longevity, and they want something in return for their investment. The Contrast Empire would probably be fine with me leaving, but Wave of Freedom wonʼt.ʼ

Kyle groaned. ʼThis fucking Contrast Empire! Why do you guys keep making issues for me?! Iʼve never targeted you! Dawnlight sent the first Seeker Refinement, and I won in a fair duel! Yes, I killed one of their talented Disciples, but he was the one who wanted to fight me! He offered the challenge! If I refused, I would have to leave or die in a sudden sneak attack. When I accepted and won, I was branded a fucking criminal!ʼ

ʼItʼs like youʼre not even allowing me to fight back. I mean, sure, youʼre technically allowing me to fight back, but Iʼm not allowed to win.ʼ

ʼThen, you do this entire criminal thing, trying to cripple my growth. But hey, Iʼm the bigger guy. Imma just make a new identity to gain resources and Laws. Never even went to Dawnlightʼs territory.ʼ

ʼBut then, fucking Dawnlight tried to attack me again! Yes, the Four Dragons blocked them, but there was still a clear attempt! I destroyed Dawnlight, became the overlord, and now, youʼre not allowing me to reap the rewards of being an overlord, which is becoming a Legendary Crusher.ʼ

ʼCanʼt be Bang because heʼs a member of the Array of Stars. Canʼt be Descending Mountain because he has a bad history with the Contrast Empire. Canʼt be Azure Comet because heʼs too disruptive.ʼ

ʼBang never went against you. Descending Mountain just accepted a duel. Azure Comet just stays on his Planet to comprehend Laws. Yet, you have a problem with all of them!ʼ

Kyle took a deep breath. ʼAlright, enough whining. Nothing will change, no matter how much you whine. Just make a decision.ʼ

ʼAre you gonna leave or are you gonna fight? Thereʼs no third option.ʼ

Kyle weighed his options. ʼLeaving is actually not so bad. Thereʼs a high chance that my impact was already big enough. The Contrast Empire changed the rules of the Secondary Sector for me. Four Peak Organizations sent recruiters to my doorstep. Iʼve been the antagonist of the Secondary Sector for centuries now. I killed two Unique Crushers. Hell, even the Lord heard about Azure Comet.ʼ

ʼI could just activate my Communicator again and tell the Array of Stars that I want to leave the Secondary Sector. I change my aura so it looks like Descending Mountain again, leave the Secondary Sector openly and legally via a Teleportation Formation Array, and get escorted by the Array of Stars. Finish my Law, advance, and advance again. That would also give Star Genesis some more time to become a Legendary Crusher.ʼ

Kyleʼs eyes narrowed. ʼWould it, though? Wave of Freedom wants something in return for their investment. They want a Legendary Crusher, and if they canʼt get it by killing me, they will try to get it via the normal way.ʼ

ʼIf I leave, Wave of Freedom will target the Four Dragons. The Four Dragons are their backup plan. If I leave, two of their Unique Crushers will probably also leave, and the last Unique Crusher will become the overlord.ʼ

Kyle entertained the thought of leaving for a while, but he already knew what decision he would make.

ʼHonestly, why am I even thinking about this? Also, even if Star Genesis were not here, would you choose to leave?ʼ

A feeling of indignation rose in Kyleʼs chest. ʼNo, I wouldnʼt leave. Honestly, at this point, fuck the Contrast Empire! I donʼt know how many people like you. I donʼt know how much good you have done for the Seekers in your empire. I donʼt know if youʼre good or bad for the world. I have no fucking idea, and I donʼt fucking care!ʼ

ʼYouʼve been an asshole to me, and even if I were the only person in the entire world youʼve been an asshole to, youʼre still an asshole to me, and I am me!ʼ

Kyle looked in the direction of Wave of Freedom with annoyance.

ʼI donʼt need Momentum. I donʼt need more money. I donʼt need to fight. I donʼt need to defend anything. What I will gain by fighting you is not worth the risk.ʼ

ʼBut fuck it! I hate your guts, and I just want to hurt you!ʼ

ʼIʼve already killed one of your Unique Crushers. Itʼs time I kill another three!ʼ

ʼJust let them come! Iʼll kill as many Unique Crushers as youʼll send, and if I die, Iʼll at least die doing what I want to do!ʼ

Kyle put the diplomatic notice from the Four Dragons away and looked at his Formation Arrays.

ʼGotta change them a bit.ʼ

While Kyle was focusing on his Formation Arrays and his Complex Law, things were getting interesting for the people in the Secondary Sector.

After a period of silence, Wave of Freedom was becoming active.

They highlighted their three Unique Crushers, but they highlighted their Head especially.

In a grand speech, the Head of Wave of Freedom denounced Azure Comet. He was a coward who used borrowed power to create a fortress of stagnation. The fact that Azure Comet never attacked anybody else was twisted into being a bad thing instead of a good thing.

At the end of her speech, she declared that Wave of Freedom would finally get rid of the bane of the Secondary Sector.

They were the protagonist, and they would get rid of the antagonist!

Finally, six months after the speech, it happened.

All three Unique Crushers left to kill Azure Comet.
