Chapter Chapter 830 - See Ya!

Kyle watched as the four Fulfilled Crushers started the construction of even more Formation Arrays.

ʼNow that they have their defenses and an offensive Formation Array for close range, they will most likely create several offensive Formation Arrays that can attack from a distance. Then, they will use their offensive powers defensively to keep me away, allowing them to leave their fortifications to build more fortifications somewhere else.ʼ

ʼIf they succeed, they will create an ever-expanding fortress with immense destructive potential. I canʼt allow them to do that,ʼ Kyle thought with narrowed eyes.

ʼI wanted to learn more, but I have to put a stop to this before itʼs too late.ʼ

ʼHowever, they do not only have Formation Arrays. Their leader has terrifying insights into the Laws of Space, Time, and Gravity. If I charge towards the Formation Arrays, their leader could probably slow me down until theyʼre done with the construction of their Formation Arrays. Fuck!ʼ

Kyle thought in frustration.

ʼI just wanted to look at some Formation Arrays, but by just making five of them, they have essentially already won. If I donʼt do anything, they will become even stronger. If I charge in, the leader will probably expand the space between us, slow my time down, and repel me.ʼ

ʼMy speed would probably drop to 10% of its peak. Sure, he would need to invest a lot of Energy, but it would be worth it. As long as they act perfectly, I canʼt win anymore.ʼ

ʼI guess itʼs not that easy to gain insights into how Inner World designs their Formation Arrays. But there is one thing thatʼs the weakness of any Formation Array.ʼ

”Thank you for showing me how Inner Worldʼs Formation Arrays work,” Kyle transmitted with a laugh.

”I think Iʼve stayed long enough in the Secondary Sector. You can have this Planet. See ya!”

Then, Kyle charged into the distance. The best way to beat a Formation Array was to run away.

Formation Arrays were stationary defenses. Sure, they could be moved by building them on movable objects, but that wasnʼt so easy. These Formation Arrays, in particular, were not designed to work while moving.

Surprisingly, the five people werenʼt surprised or worried. They had expected that Azure Comet would try to run away.

”You think you can just come and go however you please in front of Inner World?” Conversion of Worlds transmitted calmly.

Conversion of Worlds snapped his fingers, and the Stabilizing Formation Array brightened.

A lot of Conversion of Worldsʼs Energy was directed into the Stabilizing Formation Array, since it used Conversion of Worldsʼ Center as its Energy Source.

As Kyle raced into the distance, he suddenly felt the world around him distorting.

He felt his body slowing down as his relative time slowed to a crawl.

Luckily, a Seekerʼs will was unaffected by these kinds of time-related powers as long as they were not used by the Seeker themselves, which meant Kyle could still think at normal speeds.

While Kyleʼs relative time slowed, the space between him and the Formation Arrays also compressed to 10% of its usual size.

At the same time, a violent pull of gravity tried to pull Kyle backward.

In the end, Kyle moved at barely 5% of his speed. However, he was still moving away.

When Conversion of Worlds saw that Kyle was still moving away, he snorted.

”Youʼre quite fast,” he commented.

The next moment, the other four Formation Arrays shone.

Balls of light, darkness, fire, wind, metal, earth, lightning, and water appeared in the middle of the fortifications.

All of them were the Level Four Gravity Variants of the Elements.

The power of gravity multiplied, and Kyleʼs speed returned to 50% but in the opposite direction.

Then, the Fire-Wind Formation Array activated for the first time, and a shield made of violent fire appeared between Kyle and the fortifications. While it had the appearance of a shield, Kyle could tell it would explode like a bomb as soon as anything came into contact with it.

Suddenly, Kyle turned and charged straight towards the fortifications, his speed far greater than before due to the pulling forces.

The five Crushers had already expected something like that to happen.

When an enemy was driven into a corner, they always launched a desperate strike.

As Kyle approached, his eyes narrowed.

The order in which he made his next moves would decide his life or death.

If this shield hit his body, he would die.

There was simply too much Energy in this attack. First, Kyle launched a laser of azure fire at the shield. The cone appeared in front of the shield. The cone broke, the black and white portals appeared, and the metal-earth wall blocked the attack.

The fire shield was still there.

The azure flames disp—

Kyle charged through them before they could disperse!

According to their estimates, Kyle should still be relatively far away.

The fact that he was already here was the first surprise they had received during this day. Kyle had already been quite fast earlier, but in order to get here this quickly, his speed must have doubled, which was crazy! This level of speed could rival the speed of a Unique Crusher!

Luckily, Formation Arrays acted autonomously. They couldnʼt be surprised or frozen in shock. Well, normal Formation Arrays.

When Kyle saw the Energies in the Formation Arrays jerking around, he realized that he had bet correctly.

These Formation Arrays served as extensions of their wills, meaning their mental state affected how they worked.

Dead things couldnʼt be surprised, but living things could.

Just as Kyle arrived in front of the fortifications, an illusory hammer appeared between him and them.

While he couldnʼt conjure one inside the fortifications, he could make one outside. At the same time, Kyle activated his Momentum and Complex Mind Law, changing the perceived reality around the five Crushers.

However, only Conversion of Worlds seemed to have a reaction to it as his face turned white.

The other four Fulfilled Crushers were focused on the unfamiliar attack.

It was like they hadnʼt even noticed that Kyle had activated his Momentum.

Kyle realized that the Stabilizing Formation Array also encompassed all the other Formation Arrays in its will.

Because of that, Kyleʼs Momentum couldnʼt stretch into it.

Meanwhile, Conversion of Worlds became shocked and terrified for several reasons. First of all, he realized that he was affected by Kyleʼs Momentum, which should be impossible.

The designs of Inner World had a dispersing effect on Momentum. While he would still sense someone elseʼs Momentum, it would be weakened by 95%.

Kyleʼs Momentum was much stronger than his, but at 5% of its strength, it would still be almost worthless.

Yet, Conversion of Worlds was affected by it in full force, which wasnʼt supposed to happen.

However, Conversion of Worlds knew a lot about Formation Arrays, and he also knew what someone needed to do to get past this blockade.

As hard as it was to believe, Conversion of Worlds knew what was going on.

His opponent had a Complex Mind Law!

The dispersing effect of an enemyʼs Momentum only worked on basic Momenta. Some designs took Complex Mind Laws into account, but those were far too complicated for a Crusher.

Only extremely talented and experienced Sages, who were also members of Inner World, could hope to build them.

Next, Conversion of Worlds realized that Kyle had just summoned an Imposing Law, which came as another terrifying shock. Lastly, Kyleʼs Momentum itself made him terrified and destroyed his confidence.

Luckily, only he was affected by Kyleʼs Momentum.

The other four could still operate as usual.

Kyleʼs body and illusory hammer approached.

The fiery shield was still there.
