Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 825 - No Change

Once more, stories of what Azure Comet had done traveled through the Secondary Sector, and once more, people confirmed that he was the bane of the Secondary Sector.

The Secondary Sector was a Sector, which meant it had at least 5,000 Planets. In total, there were around 6,000 Planets in the Secondary Sector. Dawnlight had owned around 110 Planet Systems, which came to about 1,300 Planets. This was almost 25% of the Secondary Sector.

Since Azure Comet had sold 900 Planets and consumed another 400, a quarter of the entire Secondary Sector had been turned into a lifeless void.

The game board had been shrunk by almost 25%. Sure, the 900 Planets that had been sold were still there, but they were no longer as spread as before.

Luckily, the people were not as angry this time. After all, almost every Organization had benefited from Azure Cometʼs auction. Yet, they still had an uncomfortable feeling when they thought about the Secondary Sector shrinking.

If Azure Comet didnʼt stop, he might actually destroy the entire Secondary Sector.

But what were they supposed to do? They couldnʼt kill him. This guy had destroyed Dawnlight by himself, and he wasnʼt even a Unique Crusher.

His Formation Arrays were so powerful that they could destroy one of the strongest Organizations in the Secondary Sector.

Even more, after destroying Dawnlight and getting all the Energy Stones from the sale of his Planets, Azure Comet was probably even richer than before.

His Planet had also turned into an insanely powerful fortress. If Azure Comet became unhappy with one of the Organizations, he could probably move his fortress right to their doorstep.

What then? The Azure Comet was so big and powerful that it could swallow their Central Planet without even getting damaged. It would be like a huge boulder of a snowball rolling over a regularly sized snowball. The smaller ball would simply be added to its mass.

They couldnʼt risk angering Azure Comet.

Even Starsign and Goldfire decided not to antagonize Azure Comet in any way. This guy had already destroyed Dawnlight, and he had only become richer and more powerful since then.

For now, the people just had to live with Azure Comet. They could only hope that he wouldnʼt consume even more Planets.

Naturally, the Contrast Empire had already heard about what had happened. They had heard that Kyle had significantly reduced the size of the Secondary Sector and that he had destroyed Dawnlight.

However, they didnʼt really do anything about Azure Comet this time for a couple of reasons.

First of all, Dawnlight had been destroyed via the official way, which was a declaration of battle. Dawnlight had accepted the battle, and they had lost. No other Organization got involved, and no rules had been broken.

Second, there werenʼt many complaints. Most of the Organizations had benefited from Azure Cometʼs auction. The Organizations were unhappy with the reduced size of the Secondary Sector, but they also knew they couldnʼt complain. After all, they had contributed by purchasing and moving Planets.

Azure Comet had shown them the way, but they had traversed it with their own feet.

If the Contrast Empire changed the rules again, they might be forced to move their newly acquired Planets back to their old positions. Everyone had gotten a piece of the stolen pie, and while Azure Comet had been the one who stole it, the Organizations didnʼt want to lose their piece.

Another reason why the Contrast Empire didnʼt do anything was that the autonomy of the Secondary Sector had to be upheld. Yes, the Contrast Empire owned it, but if they kept changing the rules constantly, none of the other big Organizations would send their people there anymore.

Almost all of the Unique Crushers in the Secondary Sector came from Peak Organizations, and without their presence, the ”weight” of the Secondary Sector would reduce.

The best way to become a Legendary Crusher was to kill another Unique Crusher in a grand fashion. Without the members of the Peak Organizations, there would be almost no Unique Crushers, and without Unique Crushers, the Contrast Empireʼs Unique Crushers would find it very difficult to become Legendary Crushers.

Yet another reason why the Contrast Empire hadnʼt implemented any rule changes was that they had already seen how it would go.

Naturally, as soon as the Contrast Empire had heard about what had happened, they had asked Inner World, the Grand Exchange, and the Array of Stars about their opinions. If the other powers said that they were unhappy with the change, the Contrast Empire could change the rules.

The Array of Stars saw that Azure Comet was damaging the Secondary Sector, and since the Contrast Empire valued the Secondary Sector, the Array of Stars said that everything was fine. No rules had been broken.

The Grand Exchange was relatively neutral. Yeah, what Azure Comet had done sucked a bit, but he was also acting like someone who belonged to the Grand Exchange. The Grand Exchange was all about business and making money, and Azure Comet had earned quite a lot of wealth with his stunt.

In a way, the Grand Exchange just said that Azure Comet was a better player than the people they had sent to the Secondary Sector.

Inner World said that everything was alright and that they supported what Azure Comet had done. Of course, they said that, knowing that Voidwave was the only power that could kill Azure Comet. Azure Comet was a free ticket to become a Legendary Crusher for Voidwave.

Since all the other Organizations were fine with what Azure Comet had done, the Contrast Empire couldnʼt possibly change the rules.

Another reason why the Contrast Empire hadnʼt done anything was that they didnʼt want to ruin their relationship with him. As far as they knew, Azure Comet was an unaffiliated Crusher who tried to become a Legendary Crusher.

If they could recruit someone like that, they would gain another outstanding member.

Of course, all of the present Peak Organizations were interested in recruiting Azure Comet. The only reason they hadnʼt done so was that they werenʼt allowed to recruit any new members within the Secondary Sector.

They had to wait until Azure Comet left the Secondary Sector to recruit him.

Funnily enough, members of the four Peak Organizations stayed near the closest Teleportation Formation Arrays, waiting for Azure Comet to come out. As long as he left to buy some new materials for Formation Arrays or something similar, they could intercept him and ask him to join.

However, Azure Comet hadnʼt left the Secondary Sector at any point, frustrating them.

All of them wanted to recruit him, waiting for a tiny opening in which they could extend a helping hand, but that guy never left the Secondary Sector. In fact, he didnʼt even leave his Planet.

They really wanted to help him, but he refused to accept their helping hand. Sadly, Azure Comet didnʼt know that he desperately needed that helping hand right now.

Kyle had attracted the attention of four Immortals, all of whom had lived for millions of years. They had seen many Organizations rise and fall, and when they saw the current state of the Secondary Sector, they knew how things would go.

In just a couple of centuries…

Azure Comet would die.
