Strongest Hammer God

Chapter Chapter 832 - Mysteries of Inner World

Kyle took a deep breath.

This was way closer than I had anticipated, but thatʼs completely my fault. I wanted to see how they build their Formation Arrays and let them build them. They needed a couple of seconds to set up their initial Formation Arrays, which is more than enough time for me to kill all of them.

ʼBut hey, no risk, no reward. If you want something, you gotta risk something. If I hadnʼt let them set up their Formation Arrays, I wouldnʼt have learned as much.ʼ

Kyle thought back to the way the Formation Arrays had been set up.

He had seen the position and materials of all their components. Several of their Runes were inside the Nodes and Bases, making it hard to decipher them. Luckily, Kyle had sensed the way the surrounding Energy had moved, giving him an inkling of what the Runes could have looked like.

The designs werenʼt completely clear, but he had still learned a lot about them.

Of course, Kyle had also seen the unfinished Formation Arrays, which the five of them had started constructing before Kyle acted like he was fleeing.

However, before he began researching them, Kyle focused on something else.

There were several mountains of wealth right in front of him. Sadly, a bunch of the items had been crushed by the Azure Cometʼs immense gravitational influence, but there was still a lot left over.

Kyle went through the exciting yet laborious process of going through his new belongings.

ʼSix Grade Six Energy Stones,ʼ Kyle thought. ʼHonestly, I expected more. Voidwave probably has a lot more, but these are probably in their base.ʼ

He was a bit disappointed by the number of Energy Stones, but when he went through all the materials to construct Formation Arrays, his mood changed.

ʼAs expected, they are absolutely loaded

ʼAs expected, they are absolutely loaded with materials. I donʼt think I will need to buy new materials until I leave the Secondary Sector. Many of these materials are also of very high grade and quality.ʼ

After reviewing the materials, Kyle also looked for Formation Array designs or guides, but, as expected, there were none.

ʼMakes sense. If members of Inner World just kept carrying their designs with them, everyone would already know how their Formation Arrays work.ʼ

Kyle looked at the five Communicators. ʼAll of the designs are probably in their Communicators, which are inaccessible to any outsider.ʼ

Next, Kyle looked at their weapons, but aside from their high quality, he found nothing surprising.

That was until he looked at Conversion of Worldʼs weapon.

Conversion of Worldʼs weapon was an orb, which could amplify Gravity, Space, and Time powers.

Kyleʼs perception tried to stretch into the weapon, but it couldnʼt, surprising him quite a bit.

ʼThatʼs weird. Why canʼt I look inside?ʼ

Kyle recognized the material the orb was made of and used his Law of Gravity Metal to-

BANG!

The orb exploded, and all its components turned into pure Gravity Metal Energy.

Kyle blinked a couple of times in surprise. ʼThat wasnʼt me, I swear! It did that all by itself!ʼ

ʼThis has to be some kind of failsafe to keep its design hidden, but why? I mean, itʼs just a weapon.ʼ

Kyle scratched the side of his head. ʼUnless it has a Formation Array inside.ʼ

At that moment, Kyle revisited one of the ideas he had discarded in the past.

ʼI considered creating Formation Arrays inside my hammer. I mean, that would be amazing, right? I could further manipulate the Energy in my hammer with a Formation Array, giving my attack greater power.ʼ

ʼBut how would that even be possible? Formation Arrays need a lot of space. The Connections need to come into contact with sufficient surrounding Energy to achieve any meaningful effect. If I wanted to include a Formation Array in my hammer, it would have to be tens of meters tall for the smallest one, and hundreds of meters tall for more complex ones. Sure, I can grow to that size, but being that big comes with its own set of detriments.ʼ

ʼBut what if itʼs possible? What if there actually is a way to compress a Formation Array to such a degree that it can fit into a weapon?ʼ

Kyle looked at another orb. Just like Kyle, Conversion of Worlds had carried a couple of weapons with him, in case one of them broke.

This time, Kyle decided to simply use the pick of his hammer to scratch the orb.

A tiny crevice appeared in the weapon, and it didnʼt explode.

With newfound motivation, Kyle kept slowly scratching off parts of the weapon.

At some point, he felt some kind of tiny and hollow tunnel inside the weapon.

BANG!

And it exploded.

This time, Kyle focused intently on the scattered Gravity Metal Energies.

ʼSure enough, there isnʼt only one material in the weapon. In fact, there are a bunch of different kinds of metals inside.ʼ

ʼHowever, there isnʼt only metal in there. I can also feel a slight bit of... Biological Energy? Wait, what?ʼ

Kyle looked at the third and last orb with surprise and interest. ʼAre you telling me that thereʼs blood or flesh in there?ʼ

ʼWhy?ʼ

Kyle scratched the back of his head. ʼThere has to be some kind of reason as to why thereʼs blood or whatever in there.ʼ

ʼWell, I only have one last orb. Might as well test some less intrusive things.ʼ

First, Kyle used his Momentum on-

BANG!

The orb exploded.

ʼDude, I just felt something!ʼ Kyle thought. ʼWhen I activated my Momentum, Iʼm sure that I felt some kind of... being... intelligence? It was like something inside of there was screaming just for an instant before it died.ʼ

ʼThat means these weapons are sort of alive.ʼ

Kyle looked forward, confused and a bit concerned.

It felt weird to think about a weapon being alive.

ʼFeels a bit like swinging a cat like a hammer.ʼ

ʼI wonder... is the blood in there from the wielder or from someone else? Also, if the longevity of the owner of the weapon runs out, will it just stop working?ʼ

ʼCan a weapon have Karmic Luck?ʼ

ʼDude, I have so many fucking questions!ʼ

Kyle groaned in annoyance. ʼForget the weapon for now. If it were that easy to uncover Inner Worldʼs secrets, everyone would know about them.ʼ

ʼAnyway, what other things did these guys have?ʼ

The remaining things were just random treasures. Kyle also found a couple of Elemental Energy Stones, but they had no use aside from strengthening some Formation Arrays.

Elemental Energy Stones were outrageously expensive. There was only one reason why anyone would ever use them, and that was when they were about to die because their Formation Arrays werenʼt strong enough. Using an Elemental Energy Stone as fuel would boost the Formation Arrayʼs power by ten to twenty percent for a moment.

Finally, Kyle was left with just a couple of things.

As he looked at the objects, he was once again confused.

ʼWhy? Why would you have these? You already have these Affinities!ʼ

There were eight objects in front of Kyle.

Four Gravity Comprehension Fruits.

Four Time Comprehension Fruits.
