To the east of the Milky Way, on an unnamed planet—

*Booooom…* A sudden tremor shook the surface as several ice-blue beams streaked through the sky all of a sudden.

“Run! Run! The Demon Court has joined forces with the Angel Clan, the Titan Clan, and numerous other Forces to declare war on our Elemental Clan! If we don’t flee now, it will be too late!”

“Declare war!? How could this happen?”

A panicked voice rang out as a being seemingly carved from ice looked around in confusion.

[Why? Just why has war suddenly started? And why are we being attacked by three of the greatest Forces!? Just why…]

With bewildered expressions, several other Ice Elementals could only follow their leading Elder as he raced ahead.

“I don’t know…” Uncertainty and confusion filled the Elder’s eyes.

If not for a mysterious voice suddenly warning him during his meditation, he would have remained completely unaware.

He had been cultivating in peace all this while. Not even in his dreams had he foreseen such a catastrophe befalling them?

However, before he could think further, a cold voice echoed from afar.

“Where do you think you’re going?” The voice was grim and chilling, and its source was a lone figure standing motionless in the Starry Sky.

This was one of the prodigies stationed by the Demon Court in this Star System. Behind him, an army stretched endlessly, standing in perfect formation.

It was a really huge army.

And this was not the only battlefield.

…

Meanwhile, in a Star System within the Titan Star Domain…

*Whooosh, whoosh…* Thousands of colorful streaks of light flashed across the void.

This was a Star System rich in Elemental Energy and was home to countless Elementals. Even Tier-5 powerhouses were known to dwell here.

And at this moment, these thousands of streaks of light were fleeing deeper into the starry expanse.

However, before they could escape this Star System…

*Booooom…!” Suddenly, a thunderous explosion shook the starry expanse, prompting everyone to look toward the source.

Immediately, horror filled everyone’s face as they witnessed a hazy figure, around a hundred thousand meters tall, striding forward.

The figure resembling the mighty Gods and fearsome Devils of the legend was the most renowned unit of the Titan Clan, the Starkeepers.

Since the war had been declared, there was no room for any mercy, for this war was beneficial to all Forces.

The Elemental Clan, once a massive cake, was now up for grabs. Whoever seized a piece owned it.

As beings born from the crystallization of Elements, the Elemental Clan itself was a treasure trove. Their very bodies held immense value for cultivation.

Not to mention that the birthplace of the Elementals were genuine cultivation paradises.

Thus, the moment war was declared, every Force acted instantly.

The speed and brutality of their response were staggering.

In just a few days, across countless galaxies, banners were raised under the same cry, “Exterminate the Heavenly Court and their minions!”

A single Force hunting the Elemental Clan was not terrifying, even two Forces hunting them was still manageable.

But when thousands of Forces joined in, it became an apocalyptic disaster.

Yet, nothing could be done. The Elementals were simply too valuable, and greed was an undeniable factor.

And the Netherborns, who still huddled in the Dark Sector, the mysterious First Tower of the World and the elusive Heavenly Court, who had hidden themselves, were clear proof of it. No one dared to target them.

…

The hunt of the Elementals was only the beginning.

The true horror lay in the armies gathering across the Starry Sky, the endless legions, stretching beyond sight.

Decades of development had allowed every Major Force to tremendously expand their armies.

Now, a million-strong army was nothing.

For Major Forces like the Demon Court, spanning multiple galaxies, their living population was in the order of trillions.

And as for their armies, it was in billions, and the soldiers were not mere Tier-1 or Tier-2 weaklings, but were formidable warriors with credible strength.

Of course, even in terms of sheer military size, the Demon Court was truly monstrous.

After all, in the vast universe, only Transcendents at Tier-4 and above were regarded as true powerhouses, for only those capable of traversing outer space could be deemed as such.

However, the Demon Court, which had achieved remarkable advancements in technology, had already built the renowned Starfleet.

Their fleet was 100,000 strong, and each battleship was the size of a city, manned by hundreds of thousands of operators, even up to the millions in some cases.

Though most were merely Tier-2 or Tier-3, with the sheer power of their battleships, they could still pose a threat to even Tier-4s or Tier-5s.

Against absolute power, numbers were meaningless, yet when numbers and technology were perfectly combined, even raw strength became irrelevant.

This was the law of the universe.

There was no such thing as an absolute.

Only endless development.

Unlike the ancient Forces with their deep, unfathomable legacies, the Demon Court’s military relied primarily on technology—specifically, the desperately developed Starships.

These Starships were modeled after the aircraft carriers of the old era, powered by the nuclear technology once pioneered on Earth. They were armed with countless laser cannons and nuclear warheads as secondary weapons, and the Annihilation Pulse as their main cannon, which fired an immense purple energy blast capable of disintegrating all matter in its path.

This was the mightiest legion of the Demon Court—the Starfleet.

The greatest creation of Yu Zi Yu’s Apostle, Stellar Magneto.

…

In the past, during the conquest of the Centauris Galaxy, the Demon Court had only deployed 2,000 Starships, yet it sent shockwaves through countless Forces in the universe.

After all, battleships were one of the few weapons that could overwhelm pure strength with sheer numbers.

Their horrific combat performance was beyond imagination.

Even ordinary Tier-4s or Tier-5s might not be able to withstand a fully armed battleship in direct combat.

Because of this, many Forces began to imitate them.

Even the Angle Clan had developed Lightships powered by pure Light Energy.

However, compared to the near-perfect Starfleet developed by the Demon Court, they were still far behind.

…

At this moment, countless beings were in utter shock.

Because right now, surrounding the Milky Way, gigantic black battleships began to emerge from all directions, one after another.

They were colossal, and extremely awe-inspiring.

The sight of their dense secondary cannons, arranged like beehives, sent shivers down the spine of onlookers.

And at the heart of each ship, the main cannon’s barrel glowed with a flickering purple radiance.

These were the Demon Court’s legendary Starships.

And not just one or two, but thousands, tens of thousands.

For years, the various Forces had assumed that the Demon Court’s fleet could only amount to a few thousand ships at most.

However, now, a cold and terrifying reality was placed before them.

In just one corner of the Milky Way, over 10,000 battleships had gathered, forming a black tide that stretched across the starry expanse.

“For the Demon Court—fight!”

“For the Demon Court—fight!”

A unified battle cry, roaring like a tidal wave, shaking the very starry expanse.

And this monstrous fleet, with unstoppable momentum, began its slow, crushing march, toward the Elemental Clan’s galaxy.

…

Among the Heavenly Court, Netherborns, First Tower of the World, and the Elemental Clan… Only the Elemental Clan was fully exposed, and the easiest to conquer.

As such, they had become the perfect target.

Of course, Yu Zi Yu was certain that the other Forces would not just stand by.

After all, ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’.

If the Elemental Clan was destroyed, the Heavenly Court, Netherborns, and even the First Tower of the World would not be far from their own downfall.

*Hehe…* A smirk tugged at the corner of Yu Zi Yu’s lips as his gaze fell upon the two shadowy figures in the distance.

[The pieces I set in motion eighty years ago… Today, they’ll finally come into play.]
