*Booooom…* Suddenly, a thunderous roar erupted at the edge of the Starry Sky.

Immediately after, an aura of unimaginable terror surged forth from the distant void.

“What’s this?”

“An Imperial Artifact awakening? Are you kidding me?”

“Impossible! Who would dare awaken an Imperial Artifact now?”

…

Alarmed cries erupted one after another, as countless powerhouses promptly turned their attention toward the horizon, where they saw a tide of black mist, rising and surging forth like a wave of tsunami.

The black mist spread through the starry expanse, blotting out the Heavens.

And within this dreadful mist, a colossal figure, hundreds of feet tall, slowly emerged.

Clad in pitch-black armor that seemed to be sculpted in the likeness of a vengeful ghost, his presence appeared both towering and oppressive.

*Boooom…* As he took a step forward, the black mist shrouding the sky shuddered violently, as if in fear.

And then…

*Boom! Boom! Boom…* As the menacing figure approached, even the starry void itself trembled.

It was as if even the cosmos could not bear his presence.

“The Netherworld Divine Armor…” Some well-informed powerhouses muttered in hushed voices upon recognizing this terrifying figure.

The Netherworld Divine Armor was the most dreaded Imperial Artifact of the Netherborns. Savage and fiendish, its appearance was as horrifying as that of a malevolent ghost.

Wearing this armor not only granted an immense boost in power, but it also grew stronger by devouring flesh and blood.

Of course, there was a price.

If the Artifact did not receive any flesh and blood to feed on, then the armor’s own wielder would become its next meal.

Thus, this was an utterly sinister Imperial Artifact, one to be labeled as a Demonic Imperial Artifact.

At this moment…

*Grr… grr…* Guttural growls, resembling the wails of a vengeful specter, echoed through the void.

However, the wails did not come from any living being; they came from the Netherworld Divine Armor itself. It constantly released black mist that coiled and twisted around the Nether God, manifesting into a colossal ghostly figure over a hundred thousand meters tall. It was this manifestation that howled toward the Heavens.

At the same time, Nether God, wasting no time on words or hesitation, promptly sprang into action.

As far as Nether God was concerned, wearing the Netherworld Divine Armor was a tremendous burden.

Although his power had skyrocketed, the searing agony gnawing at his very Soul made it difficult for him to even speak.

So, all he could do was act. He slowly raised his hand and…

*Booooom…* With a thunderous roar, his arm stretched across the Starry Sky, reaching toward the location where Yu Zi Yu was undergoing tribulation.

Countless tendrils of black mist twisted and danced around his hand, carrying the power of death itself.

A dark and ominous energy filled the cosmos, making the entire Starry Sky feel heavier.

At the same time, his colossal hand opened, grabbing straight toward Yu Zi Yu’s five forms.

Seizing one of the five Divine Forms would grant him the chance to ascend to the Realm of Hegemony.

However, if he claimed all five, then he might even become the fabled Half-Step Eternal.

Ecstatic, his heart raced with excitement as he envisioned his own day of ascension, his eyes gleaming with fervent anticipation.

…

However, in the very next moment…

“So, you’ve finally made your move…” A voice, tinged with playful amusement, suddenly rang out, seemingly waiting for this very moment all along.

Then, before the bewildered eyes of the Nether God, the withered and dying Immortal Tree suddenly burst forth with an overwhelming surge of vitality.

*Boooooom…* With a thunderous explosion, the previous feeble Immortal Tree shot into the sky, while its innumerable branches, bearing resemblance of titanic Pythons, shot out.

In an instant, the Starry Sky was filled with the terrifying sight of thousands upon thousands of Pythons soaring toward Heaven, before fiercely clashing against the Nether God’s grasping hand.

*Booooom…* A deafening blast shook the cosmos, even sending ripples through space.

Visible to the naked eye, a devastating shockwave swept across the entire Solar System, radiating in all directions. Any planet or any other celestial bodies trembled in its wake, their orbits thrown into disarray.

The more fragile ones fractured into pieces before being crushed into cosmic dust, vanishing into the vast, starry abyss.

“Hmph!” The Nether God, apart from a cold snort, remained indifferent to the entire ordeal.

So what if his attack had been blocked? It might just be a bluff.

Besides, even if the so-called Supreme Lord of the Demon Court was at his peak, it was no concern to him, for he had donned the Netherworld Divine Armor. His combat prowess had reached unfathomable heights.

And with every passing moment, his power was still skyrocketing at an astonishing speed.

In mere instants, he felt his strength surge tenfold.

He believed, with such overwhelming might, how could a mere being from the Demon Court possibly stand against him?

“Heh heh heh…” A chilling laughter escaped the Nether God as he took another step forward.

*Boooom…* Much to the incredulity of countless spectators, the colossal figure, with a thirty thousand metres tall specter looming behind him, traversed the starry void in an instant, and suddenly appeared near Yu Zi Yu.

Adding more to the dread, a near-tangible pressure had filled the entire Solar System.

The suffocating weight made it difficult for all to breathe.

The once tranquil Starry Sky was now shrouded in an eerie darkness.

“Master, please be safe…”

“Divine Tree…”

“How could such a terrifying being exist?”

…

Cries of alarm erupted one after another, as despair filled the very eyes of the Demon Court’s powerhouses, gazing at the colossal figure towering in the Starry Sky.

It was terrifying, utterly so.

Everyone could not believe their eyes. They kept asking the same question to themselves in shock and dismay, ‘How could such a monstrous being even exist?’

In just a single step, he had crossed the entire Solar System.

His sheer aura alone rendered Tier-5 True Gods breathless.

[Is this some kind of joke?] One after another, their faces twisted in utter disbelief.

Even the Angels and Elementals who had rushed over were stricken with shock.

Never had they expected the Netherborns to be so ruthless, to directly awaken an Imperial Artifact?!

This was no trivial matter.

This was nothing short of a full-scale war declaration against the Demon Court.

And in this era, what would it mean for the Netherborns and the Demon Court to go to war?

No one knew.

No one dared to speculate.

However, as they watched the two divine and fiendish figures locked in confrontation within the starry void, everyone gradually realized a cruel war was upon them, which wouldn’t end until one side had completely perished.

This was no petty skirmish between Minor Forces.

This was no mere conflict of interests.

This was a full-scale clash between two of the strongest Forces in existence.

The Netherborns, the ancient and malevolent force of legend, had finally bared its fangs.
