[Is this how it all ends?] Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but smile self-deprecatingly, as he found himself at an utter loss.

Even after countless meticulous calculations and innumerable schemes, it all amounted to nothing.

How could he possibly accept this?

However, what could he do now?

He did not even have the time to awaken the Sixteen Holy Wings. The Vajra Ring’s power was simply too overwhelming, suppressing all of his means.

And in the distance, three figures, each capable of rivaling a Hegemon, were approaching with Imperial Artifacts in hand.

He was at a dead end, a true dead end…

“Master…”

“Lord Divine Tree…!”

“No, no…!”

…

One desperate cry after another filled the air as countless figures looked upon Yu Zi Yu, who was now besieged on all sides, their faces stricken with panic.

Even Yu Zi Yu himself noticed, Nine Tails, Sarcosuchus, and others were recklessly charging toward him.

However, before they could even reach the battlefield, the mere aftershocks from the Imperial Artifacts blasted them away.

And farther in the distance…

“Master…!” Amidst a heart-wrenching roar, Yu Zi Yu caught sight of a figure that had arrived late: A golden silhouette.

However, at this moment, the figure was shrouded in crimson.

This was Golden Ant, the famed Heaven-Shaking Divine Ant of the Society of Demons and Fiends.

Once, he had slain a Tier-6 being despite being only a Tier-5. Now, decades had passed, and he had long stepped into Tier-6.

However, at this moment, he was engulfed in crimson flames—his Blood Essence burning wildly, transforming into a torrent of bloodfire that coiled around him as his strength surged higher and higher.

Originally, he could only push the Strength Boost to 5th Stage.

However, now, he had activated the 5th Stage in one breath, and was even forcefully attempting to unlock the 6th Stage.

His power surged madly, once more, but unable to withstand the strain, his body was continuously breaking apart.

However, before the spilled blood could even drip down, it evaporated under the extreme heat, turning into bloody mist.

Even so, Golden Ant had gone completely berserk. His figure transformed into a streak of blood-red light, charging straight into the battlefield.

*Booooom…*

Suddenly, a thunderous explosion shook the starry void as Golden Ant crashed into the Nether God, shaking even someone as mighty as him.

It must be brought to notice that the Nether God was currently wielding a fully awakened Imperial Artifact, which had pushed his strength on par with a Hegemon.

Despite this, Golden Ant had still shaken him.

This alone spoke volumes of the terrifying power behind that charge.

However, what difference did it make?

Golden Ant was still merely at Early-Stage Tier-6.

Even if he risked his life, he could only stall the Nether God for a moment.

He could not change Yu Zi Yu’s crisis.

…

Instead, his actions, and more importantly, his cry of ‘Master,’ sent shockwaves through the crowd.

After all, the countless powerhouses, who had been spectating the entire debacle from afar, recognized him.

The Society of Demons and Fiends was one of the most mysterious and terrifying Dark Forces of the Western Sector.

And Golden Ant was one of the most terrifying existences of the Society of Demons and Fiends.

And the very same Golden Ant was now calling the Supreme Lord of the Demon Court ‘Master’?

As realization dawned, one powerhouse after another turned pale with shock.

“Just how many Hidden Forces does the Demons Court’s Supreme Lord have…?”

“Why do I feel like… this entire situation is one colossal setup…?”

…

Shocked filled cries echoed through the battlefield, one after another, sending chills down many spines.

Even someone as mighty as Angel Clan’s Seraphim and Titan Clan’s Eternal Titan wore grim expressions.

The Society of Demons and Fiends was actually under the control of the Demon Court as well, no one—not even in their dreams—had expected this.

After all, in terms of sheer strength, the Society of Demons and Fiends of today was already not far behind the Top Forces.

And now, such a terrifying power… was actually…

“Fortunately, it’s all over. If that Demon Court’s Supreme Lord had successfully crossed his Tribulation, he would have been truly unstoppable.”

“Indeed.” Nodding, Seraphim too acknowledged this fact.

At this moment, Eternal Titan could not help but feel a tinge of regret.

[Had I known earlier, I would’ve stepped in myself… Not only could I have claimed a share of the spoils, but I might’ve snuffed out this unprecedented powerhouse before he could fully rise.]

But should he act now?

After a brief contemplation, Eternal Titan shook off the thought.

Even the Nether God and the others had already exhausted their trump cards. If he were to swoop in now and steal their hard-earned victory, there was a solid 80% chance they would all turn on him instead… and that was a risk he was not willing to take.

…

At the same time, in the depths of the Starry Sky, hidden far away, a figure suddenly trembled the moment Yu Zi Yu roared the words ‘Heavenly Court.’

It was the Nether Dragon Serpent.

“As expected… Heaven’s Gate is indeed the ‘Heavenly Court’…” murmured the Nether Dragon Serpent in a spine-chilling voice, staring at the Vajra Ring that bound Yu Zi Yu with ice-cold eyes.

The Heavenly Court was the Dragon Clan’s sworn enemy. Even in death, their sins could not be absolved.

The reason he had come to the Western Sector was for one purpose and one purpose alone, to find traces of the Heavenly Court.

They could never allow them to rise again. Otherwise, the entire Dragon Clan would be forever shamed.

After all, that immortal dish—’Dragon’ Liver and Phoenix Marrow’—was still engraved, bloodstained, upon the Dragon Clan’s ancient stele.

Everytime he imagined the very organs of his kin becoming a delicacy for others, he was filled with rage.

Worse yet, it had inspired countless other races to imitate the practice, and now, feasting on Dragon Liver and Phoenix Marrow was seen as a mark of honor.

This act was nothing less than grinding the Dragon Clan’s pride into the dust.

Had the Heavenly Court not been so powerful back then, how could the Dragon Clan have tolerated such humiliation?

However, now, if the Heavenly Court dare to reappear, they would have to see if the Dragon Clan would agree.

*Hissss….* A deep, eerie hiss echoed as the Nether Dragon Serpent turned his attention toward the distant horizon of space, where two figures cloaked in black robes had emerged, their presence growing clearer.

Spotting them, his killing intent skyrocketed.

“The Heavenly Court, is it…!?” A cold, emotionless voice rang out.

At that moment, the Nether Dragon Serpent was already considering mobilizing all the Dragon Clan Forces within the Western Sector—to lay siege to the Heavenly Court.

…

However, at this moment, none of that mattered.

What mattered was the heart of the battlefield.

*Die!* With a thunderous roar, the Nether God’s ghastly, demon-like form lunged at Yu Zi Yu’s True Body—the colossal Divine Tree rooted in the depths of the Starry Sky.

At the same time, the Shadow Lord and the King of Lightning also closed in.

Yu Zi Yu’s True Body was simply massive. He literally blotted out Heaven, as if he alone held up the sky.

Compared to him, the three fiendish figures, though large, appeared nothing more than slightly bigger Ants.

However, what did size matter?

Though Yu Zi Yu was confident, he was not arrogant enough to believe he could ignore the power of three near-Hegemon-level Transcendents.

Not to mention, currently, because of the Vajra Ring’s restraints, he could not even move, let alone defend himself.

In other words, all he could do now was wait for death.

“Hahaha…” Laughing bitterly, Yu Zi Yu could not help but think of the legendary Heaven-Connecting Divine Tree from ancient times.

[Wouldn’t she also be hunted down by countless powerhouses in the future, only to be torn apart and have her Soul annihilated?]

However, at this very moment, Yu Zi Yu failed to notice that deep within his body, hidden in some obscure corner, a mysterious, unfathomable mark had begun to flicker ever so slightly.
