*Crunch, crunch…* Sudden sounds of chewing echoed through the depths of the Tree Realm.

Looking in its direction, one could see a Treant over 10 meters tall gnawing on a strange, blood-red fruit.

With each bite, an indescribable aura began to flow through it. On a closer look, one could see strands of blood rising around it. This was the power of the Blood Demon Clan.

And this was only the beginning.

*Boooooom!* A crimson storm suddenly rose from the ground, enveloping the 10 meters tall Treant completely in the blink of an eye.

And at that moment…

*Roooooaar… rooooooar…* Yu Zi Yu heard thunderous growls resounding through the Tree Realm. It felt as if a terrifying being was announcing its arrival—or perhaps, like the most fearsome of beasts awakening from slumber.

An inexplicable dread filled the air.

[That’s quite a commotion!] With a deep sigh, Yu Zi Yu could not help but feel impressed. The greater the disturbance, the more extraordinary the Blood Demon Fruit’s power seemed.

And now… the spectacle alone was enough to meet his expectations…

…

Shortly afterward…

*Rooooooaar…* Another resonant growl echoed, and with it, the crimson storm began to contract.

And in just moments, Yu Zi Yu beheld a giant beast covered in blood-colored scales. The beast looked quite malevolent, and its face, even more difficult to make out. Its entire body was covered in palm-sized, blood-red scales.

The creature’s entire form was hunched, like a beast poised to pounce, radiating a fierce, primal energy.

“So, this is what a Treant looks like after consuming the Blood Demon Fruit…” With a light chuckle, Yu Zi Yu gazed at it with silent admiration.

The Treant’s current form, even without considering its size, now bore a striking resemblance to the Blood Demon Clan—about 30-40% percent.

Blood-colored scales…

A malevolent appearance, and an ever-present scent of blood.

Everything about it declared its new identity as part of the Blood Demon Clan.

At this moment, Yu Zi Yu narrowed his gaze, focusing on its status screen.

Race: Treant
Tier: Tier-4

Innate Talent:

Blood Demon Transformation – A terrifying talent gained from consuming the Blood Demon Fruit, allowing it to transform into a Blood Demon and obtain their Innate Talent and abilities. More astonishingly, this transformation doesn’t affect the Treant’s original Innate Talents and abilities. Both can even combine, enhancing each other.

Soul of Ice – As an Ice Soul Tree, it possesses the power to freeze the ground, with a chilling cold that penetrates to the bone and can even freeze the soul…

Unique Abilities:

…

After reading just this much, Yu Zi Yu withdrew his gaze, for it was enough.

The power this Treant had gained after consuming the Blood Demon Fruit was so perfect that it exceeded his expectations.

Yu Zi Yu’s eyes gleamed with excitement, and he commanded in a low voice, “Return to your original form.”

“Yes, Tree Ancestor,” came the deep, raspy reply.

As the Treant responded, the blood-red hue on its body gradually faded, revealing its original appearance.

It was once again the Treant from before.

Branches formed its arms, roots twisted into legs, and an ancient face appeared on its trunk.

If not for the blood-red mark on the center of its brow, Yu Zi Yu might not have noticed any difference from its former self.

After carefully examining the Treant to ensure it bore no traces of the Blood Demon Clan’s aura, Yu Zi Yu instructed once more, “Activate Blood Demon Transformation.”

“Yes, Tree Ancestor.” With another deep response, wisps of blood-red energy began to seep from the Treant’s body.

In no time, the red energy swirled around it, forming a storm that enveloped the Treant.

And as the storm faded, a creature emerged—clad in crimson scales and bearing a malevolent, fearsome face.

This was the Treant in its Blood Demon form.

It now resembled a true member of the Blood Demon Clan, even exuding the Clan’s distinctive, nauseating stench.

“Ha ha…” Yu Zi Yu chuckled softly, realizing the true horror of the Blood Demon Fruit.

Silently and invisibly, it altered the essence of life, leaving no trace.

Ordinary transformation techniques often leave clues, but the form granted by this fruit was truly seamless.

Now, if this blood-scaled creature walked among the Blood Demon Clan, Yu Zi Yu was confident that very few would notice anything unusual.

As for the Treant’s unusually large size, it was not an issue. The Blood Demons could range from ten meters to even a hundred meters tall.

The Blood Demon Clan was an extensive race, with many subtypes appearing occasionally.

After all, pure-blooded members were always in the minority.

This trait was not unique to the Blood Demon Clan—it was common among Clans like the Titans and Dragons, where pure Bloodlines held particularly high status.

…

“Go spar with him. Use any means necessary.” Pointing casually at a nearby Treant with a strong aura, Yu Zi Yu smiled.

This was a necessary test, to better gauge the Blood Demon Fruit’s power.

As for injuries? It was really not a concern. Not to mention any injuries, even if the Treant fell in battle, Yu Zi Yu could bring him back.

So, he let them fight—fight as if it were a life and death battle.

With a flash of resolve in his eyes, Yu Zi Yu conveyed his intent to the nearby Blood Demon Treant.

*Rooooooaar…* Sensing his command, the Blood Demon Treant let out a deep, gravelly roar, both harsh and penetrating.

Then, under Yu Zi Yu’s smiling gaze, this crimson-scaled Treant accelerated, transforming into a streak of blood-red light as it lunged towards its selected opponent.

It was fast, far faster than ordinary Treants.

This was one of the Blood Demon Clan’s unique traits.

Compared to other races, they indeed had an edge in speed.

Their ‘Blood Flash’ technique was nearly unparalleled, something even Yu Zi Yu had heard of.

And now, this trait was displayed to perfection in the once-clumsy Treant.

A fellow Tier-4 Treant, several kilometers away, hadn’t even reacted before the crimson-scaled Treant closed the distance in an instant, tackling it to the ground.

*Booooom! Boooooom!* With each thunderous impact, the Treant skidded across the ground, carving a massive trench that stretched thousands of meters through the landscape.
