“You all have grown up so much…” Sighing with emotions, Yu Zi Yu then shifted his gaze, focusing on a secluded corner.

There…

*Tap, tap, tap…* Along with light footsteps, a faint, elusive fragrance drifted over.

This was the scent of the Dragon Orchid, a fragrance unique to the flowers of a Tier-5 Spirit Tree, known for nourishing the Soul.

And as for this particular Tier-5 Spirit Tree, it went without saying.

It was the only Tier-5 Treant within the Realm of Mist—the Tree Realm—the Dragonblood Treant.

She was also the bonded companion of the current ruler of the Tree Realm, Thorns. Bound together as Master and servant, they cultivated side by side.

Currently, with the Dragonblood Spirit Tree resting on Thorns’ shoulder, Thorns walked towards Yu Zi Yu with light, measured steps. Every time her feet touched the ground, a blood-red flower bloomed beneath her feet.

The flowers were extremely beautiful, and only served to make Thorns appear even more striking.

“Master…” A soft voice drifted to Yu Zi Yu’s ear, as if she was breathing right beside him.

“You’re really getting more and more extraordinary…”

“Well, I had no choice… Now that I’m in charge of the Tree Realm, with tens of thousands of Treants under me, I need to maintain a certain bearing to keep everyone in line…” Thorns’ voice, seemingly grumbling, reached Yu Zi Yu via telepathy.

The Tree Realm was a secret to many. Even figures like Sarcosuchus and Bull Demon were unaware of its existence…

And so, Thorns spoke of it cautiously.

“This I can understand…” Feeling a sense of empathy, Yu Zi Yu agreed.

Just like him, as the Lord of the Demon Court, every word and action represented the Court, and he could no longer act as freely as before.

He did not worry about himself, but the Demon Court he now stood for…

*Haaaaaa…* With a sigh, Yu Zi Yu could not help but think of the Demon Court, far away across galaxies, and remember figures like Nine Tails, Sarcosuchus…

[Anyway, now’s not the time to reminisce. With everyone awake, it’s time to get on with things.] With that thought, Yu Zi Yu softly called out to everyone, “Everyone…”

Though his voice was soft, it reached the ears of every Mutant Beast present, drawing each powerful being’s gaze directly to Yu Zi Yu.

“There’s still about half a month until we reach the Kadar Star Domain…” As he spoke, Yu Zi Yu’s eye twitched slightly.

Originally, he had planned to reach the Kadar Star Domain in a year or two, but he had never thought he would get lost. To make matters worse…he had even entered a Dark Sector, mindlessly rushing forward as the Soaring Purple Dragon.

Everywhere he looked, it was pitch black, and even his senses were heavily diminished.

In that Dark Sector, Yu Zi Yu had spent nearly half a year before he was somehow able to make his way out.

Unbeknownst to him, that particular Dark Sector was notoriously perilous in the vast expanse of space.

According to certain Elders of other races, that Dark Sector was so dangerous that not to mention an ordinary Tier-6 Transcendent, even a Hegemon, might struggle to find a way out.

Yet Yu Zi Yu had managed to escape within half a year.

If the others learned of this, they would likely be left speechless.

Of course, this was due to Yu Zi Yu’s many techniques, some of which even typical Hegemons could not match.

In other words, Yu Zi Yu’s foundation was exceptionally deep…

…

*Ahem…* Noticing the astonished expressions on the faces of the numerous Mutant Beasts, Yu Zi Yu gave a timely cough, trying to steer the conversation away.

But the next moment, an untimely exclamation rang out.

“Master, it’s been five years, and you still haven’t reached the Kadar Star Domain?… Surely, you did not… get lost?”

*Whack…* A branch lashed out from nowhere, sending White Tiger who had spoken flying several hundred meters away.

Yet, watching the cheeky-faced White Tiger climb back up, Yu Zi Yu immediately changed the topic, “We’ll be reaching the Kadar Star Domain soon, and since all of you have recently awakened…”

“Yes, this couldn’t have been any more timely… I plan to send you out in pairs to explore every corner of the Kadar Star Domain. If you discover any information about the Eternal Imperial Artifact, the Tai Chi Diagram, the Taoist Sect, or the Grand Divine Ability—One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones, contact me immediately… Understand?”

Listening intently, the Mutant Beasts collectively straightened, then responded in unison, “Yes, Master…”

“En…” Yu Zi Yu nodded slightly, feeling reassured.

They were seasoned veterans, experienced in carrying out missions. This was nothing new to them. However, unlike previous assignments that had taken place on Earth, this mission involved the entire Kadar Star Domain.

Furthermore, the Kadar Star Domain was as vast as the Milky Way. So, this mission was bound to be a lengthy one. But Yu Zi Yu could afford to wait.

After all, for the Taoist Sect’s Grand Divine Ability—One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones—it would all be worth it.

…

At that moment, as if struck by inspiration, Bull Demon stepped forward and stated, “Master, I have an idea. May I speak?”

“Go on…” Yu Zi Yu replied, curious, for Bull Demon, who was usually quiet, was unusually proactive today.

“Master, as things stand, this search might take far longer than just a day or two—it could even span years. So, why not try seeking out the indigenous races of the Kadar Star Domain to incorporate into our own?”

“If there are any, we could leverage our power to subdue them or form a temporary alliance, sending them out to every corner for the search. That would surely be faster than wandering around aimlessly…” As he spoke, a gleam of intelligence flashed in Bull Demon’s eyes.

“That’s an excellent idea.” After pondering for a moment, Yu Zi Yu nodded slightly in agreement.

[He is indeed correct. While the strength of Bull Demon and the others is formidable, searching for an elusive Imperial Artifact in such an expansive Star Domain is like searching for a needle in a haystack. In fact, it might be hundreds, even thousands, of times more difficult than that.

Instead, it would be more practical to follow Bull Demon’s suggestion—take control of the entire Kadar Star Domain.

By subjugating the various indigenous Forces, they could assist in our search.

After all, although there are some members of the Demon Court within the Nine Realms, their numbers are limited.

It’s only a million or so, which is negligible when compared to the indigenous races, which number in the tens or even hundreds of billions. The million-strong Demon Court is but a drop in the ocean.]
