At this moment, in the distant galaxy, a storm of bloodshed had erupted in the Demon Court.

“Kill… those who resist shall be erased without exception…” Her voice was cold, yet tinged with emotion. A girl with a cascade of long hair and feet as flawless as white jade swept the surroundings with a cold, piercing gaze.

She was the Princess of the Demon Court.

Today, she was a renowned figure across the starry skies, wielding authority over the Demon Court’s dark forces.

Today, she had joined hands with the Zerg Queen, Shalira, to initiate a great purge.

In five years, let alone the Demon Court, even the smallest of Forces would get infested with parasites. Thus, as the most fearsome presence within the dark Forces of the Demon Court, she had chosen this day to clear away the ’trash.’

These individuals had either entangled themselves with other Major Forces or tried to establish dominions of their own.

The so-called ‘Major Forces’ included only the pinnacle Forces like the Titan Star Domain and the Angel Star Domain.

By the standards of today’s Demon Court, there were only a handful of Forces in the entire universe worthy of being deemed ‘Major Forces.’

However…

Just then, as if something had crossed her mind, Ling Er’s eyes flickered.

“What’s wrong, Sister Ling Er?” inquiring in a soft and gentle voice, Shalira drew closer to Ling Er’s side, her figure shifting to stand beside her.

“Recently, many in the Titan Star Domain and the Angel Star Domain have witnessed the birth of Tier-6 Overlords. Things will get a bit troublesome from now on…”

Hearing Ling Er’s concerned words, Shalira’s brows furrowed slightly. [Indeed, it really isn’t good news for the current Demon Court. Fortunately, these Major Force still steered clear of the Demon Court.]

To be more precise, they maintained a respectful distance.

And this made sense. After all, five years ago, one of the Demon Court’s Three Gods—the Divine Tree—was already a Tier-6 Transcendent.

Now, with five years passed, who could say what level the Divine Tree had reached?

It was a well-known truth: the further one advanced, the slower the pace of cultivation.

However, a prodigy like the Divine Tree could not be judged by conventional wisdom. Even the most fearsome of the Tier-6 Transcendents, the Ancient Dragons still could not fully grasp the terrifying strength the Divine Tree had displayed five years ago.

Though many would rather not admit it, it was a widely accepted fact. In fact, every powerhouse upon reaching Tier-6 first made their way to the Solar System, where the Demon Court resided.

There, hovering silently at a distance, each of these Ancient Overlords would remain for a moment, their expressions tense with a mix of fear and awe.

Thereafter, their attitudes toward the Demon Court would soften.

Some Forces, such as the Titan Clan, the Elemental Clan, and the Angel Clan, even sent gifts to the Demon Court to express goodwill.

*Haaaaaa…* With a helpless sigh, Shalira stated, “For now, we can only hold back and wait for Master’s return…”

Then, as if remembering something, Shalira’s expression brightened.

“But, Sister Ling Er, rest assured. As long as they remain uncertain of Master’s current power, none of these Forces will dare act against the Demon Court.”

“Indeed.” With a soft smile, Ling Er realized her own worries were unnecessary.

However, just then, as if something else had come to mind, she asked proactively, “Have you taken care of the Hive Mind?”

The Hive Mind, a collective consciousness of countless Zergs, was the true ‘mother’ of the billions of Zergs around the Demon Court.

Yet, this Hive Mind was ultimately not to be trusted. Before departing, their Master had hinted to Shalira to deal with it.

“For it…” With a faint smirk, Shalira responded truthfully, “I’ve secretly scattered its consciousness. Right now, I’m cultivating a new Hive Mind… When the new one is born, the entire Zerg Clan will fully belong to the Demon Court.”

“Good…” Ling Er nodded in approval.

In five years, Shalira had indeed grown a lot.

Perhaps it was just her imagination, but Ling Er could even see traces of their Master’s shadow in Shalira.

Maybe it was intentional imitation, or maybe it was the result of subtle, constant exposure. But now, Shalira, as their Master’s Disciple, was indeed remarkable.

At the very least, most of the Elders, like Nine Tails and Sarcosuchus, were quite pleased with her.

With a faint smile, Ling Er turned her gaze toward the starry sky, a trace of nostalgia flickering in her eyes.

*Swooosh…* A gentle breeze blew past her as the two earrings shaped like magatama at Ling Er’s ears emitted a soft, ethereal glow.

Faintly, one could almost hear the distant roars of a Dragon and hisses of a Snake.

These were Ling Er’s Companion Souls: the Soul of a True Dragon, and a Darkness Serpent from the Underworld, whose Hierarchy of Life was just as formidable as that of a True Dragon.

Upon closer inspection, one could even see a phantom of a Black Dragon, nearly 10 meters long, and a Dark Serpent over a meter in length, dancing gracefully around Ling Er in circles.

“Master, did you know? I’ve already reached Tier-5… And with the resources of the Demon Court, I managed to elevate the Soul of the Flood Dragon King to that of a True Dragon, and further evolved the Soul of the Darkness Serpent… Now, I am strong, very strong…” In a series of soft whispers, a hint of melancholy touched Ling Er’s figure.

…

Meanwhile, as if sensing something, Yu Zi Yu, rooted within the Realm of Life, suddenly lifted his head.

“Is someone thinking of me?” mumbling in a happy yet melancholic tone, a trace of helplessness crossed Yu Zi Yu’s face.

For a being as powerful as him, certain sensations were more than mere whims. He could easily guess that some of his old companions in the Demon Court were thinking of him.

Unfortunately, this was just the beginning.

It would be a long, long time before he could return.

“Just wait a little longer.” With a sigh, Yu Zi Yu withdrew his consciousness back into his main body, resuming his cultivation.

He was currently at the peak of the Fifth Order of Tier-6.

He planned on reaching the Sixth Order by the time he returned to the Milky Way.

Once he reached the Sixth Order of Tier-6, Yu Zi Yu would begin to consider bearing the Principles and ascending to Tier-7, the Realm of Hegemony.

Of course, he would first try to reach the Seventh Order of Tier-6, a rare and formidable stage where one’s physical body could rival that of a Hegemon.

If he could bear the Principles at that level, it would mean true invincibility within his Tier.

At that time, Yu Zi Yu would even stand out among the peerless prodigies of the Realm of Hegemony, emerging as an unparalleled giant, reigning supreme over the cosmos.
