“What a remarkable beast…” Yu Zi Yu silently admired the Metal Devourer, his gaze sparkling with appreciation.

Leaving aside other qualities, just its ability to absorb impurities and refine metal to a higher purity was an incredibly formidable talent—especially valuable for a force like the Demon Court. After all, high-quality metals were essential for forging good Artifacts. And a well-crafted Artifact could significantly elevate one’s combat strength.

Take Sarcosuchus, for example. In terms of sheer physical prowess, he really did not lose out to Mountain Titan. Yet, the moment the Titan’s Divine Artifact was taken out, Sarcosuchus could only take a single attack. This alone demonstrated the staggering impact a Divine Artifact could have on combat power.

Moreover, what intrigued Yu Zi Yu the most was that this Metal Devourer had grown by devouring a Divine Metal—Phoenix Blood Purple Gold.

“Phoenix Blood Purple Gold…” As he murmured this name, Yu Zi Yu recalled the ‘Encyclopedia of Strange and Rare Metals,’ compiled by Golden Monkey. Among the nine legendary Divine Metals, one was indeed known as Phoenix Blood Purple Gold. This metal naturally contained Dao Markings and was capable of self-repair, making it essential for forging Imperial Artifacts.

In the previous era, even a fingernail-sized piece of Phoenix Blood Purple Gold could spark a bloody conflict. But back then, all known sources of Divine Metals had already been exhausted. The more time passed, the scarcer such precious resources became.

However, now… In a new era, with the start of a new cycle, discovering a Divine Metal deposit was hardly surprising.

“Golden Monkey… this little one has been feeding on Phoenix Blood Purple Gold.” with a light chuckle, Yu Zi Yu informed Golden Monkey.

“Phoenix Blood Purple Gold…” Golden Monkey’s pupils contracted slightly, his gaze towards the Metal Devourer showing a newfound intensity.

There were many types of Divine Metals, but only nine renowned ones stood above the rest, each possessing extraordinary powers.

Phoenix Blood Purple Gold, for instance, resembled a metal dyed by blood and was capable of self-restoration, just like a Phoenix. Even if it got shattered beyond recognition, it would regenerate over time. When incorporated into an Artifact, it grants the Artifact the power to self-repair. This was why every Eternal Imperial Artifact could endure the calamities of eras and gradually revive—because their cores contain Divine Metals like Phoenix Blood Purple Gold.

With the passage of time, they would eventually recover, no matter how broken they were. However, this process could span tens of millions, or even billions of years.

In addition to Phoenix Blood Purple Gold, there were other precious Divine Metals like Dragon Patterned Gold and Heavenly Tribulation Gold, each worthy of being called a Supreme Treasure.

“Taking that into consideration, this little one is a treasure in itself…” A playful smile tugged at the corners of Golden Monkey’s mouth as he looked pleased.

The Phoenix Blood Purple Gold alone was worth the Demon Court’s attention.

Noticing the delight on Golden Monkey’s face, Yu Zi Yu candidly stated, “Then, I’ll leave this little one’s fate in your hands. Whether you choose to subdue it or take another course of action is up to you…”

With that, Yu Zi Yu waved his right hand, sending a chain flying towards the Metal Devourer.

This was the Soul-Binding Chain, a rare treasure unique to the Demon Court. As a Tier-5 Artifact, its prowess was unmatched. Even a prodigy like Mountain Titan would find their power reduced to a mere fraction when bound by it. Its formidable nature stemmed from the fact that the chain was forged from Yu Zi Yu’s own branches and inscribed with the Sealing Dao traces by Nine Tails herself.

…

Without wasting any time, Yu Zi Yu simply made a few arrangements before leading Golden Monkey and the others back to the Demon Court.

At present, the most crucial matter remained the Kadar Star Domain.

Returning to the Demon Court, he decided to deal with the routine affairs and then set off.

As for other concerns, they were hardly worth his attention. Compared to the greatest Grand Divine Ability of the Daoist Sect, everything else seemed trivial.

…

In the blink of an eye, nearly half a month had passed.

And then, on this particular day…

*Rooooaar…*  A long and thunderous roar—neither purely a Dragon’s nor any other beast’s cry— reverberated and the entire solar system shuddered slightly.

At its center…

*Boooooom…* With a thunderous rumble, a path formed by one of Yu Zi Yu’s branches unfolded, leading directly towards Sarcosuchus and Yu Zi Yu’s Void Spirit Form.

This was Yu Zi Yu’s True Form welcoming them!

“Open!” A mighty voice thundered like rolling thunder.

As Sarcosuchus, Dai Er, and others watched with anticipation, multiple vortexes, each glowing in different hues, began to expand at the end of the Heavenly path.

The entrances to the Nine Realms—only Yu Zi Yu’s True Form could open them.

Now, as each gateway appeared, Sarcosuchus and the others wasted no time, transforming into streaks of light that rushed towards their chosen vortexes.

The Nine Realms…

The Nine Small Worlds…

And within the Demon Court, each Tier-5 Expert had their own preferred realm to inhabit… Except for necessary meetings, which were held in the Realm of Life, each of them trained in the realm that suited them best.

After all, the Nine Realms’ Spiritual Energy density far surpassed that of both Elysia and Earth.

As Nine Tails once put it, “Even a pig could reach Tier-2, perhaps even Tier-3, within Master’s Small Worlds.”

“Rest for the night, and tomorrow we shall convene…” Yu Zi Yu’s majestic voice echoed throughout the Nine Realms, prompting Golden Monkey, Sarcosuchus, and the others to respectfully respond in unison:

“Yes, Master…”

…

Shortly afterward, in the depths of the Realm of Life…

“Nine Tails…” At the sound of his voice, a surge of flame intertwined within Yu Zi Yu’s vision.

Moments later,

“Master, back so soon…” A voice responded as Nine Tails, looking at the Towering Tree not far away, asked, “How was the harvest, Master?”

“Quite fruitful…” With rare satisfaction, Yu Zi Yu’s branches swayed.

In the next moment, waves rippled through the air, as if on the surface of a pond, as countless radiant treasures began to fall from the sky, their colors shifting and flickering.
