“Phantom Fox…” Slightly narrowing their eyes, Ling Er and White Elephant both looked towards a strange figure not far away.

An intangible figure, constantly burning like flames, with the only tangible aspect being its head—the head of a Black Fox.

The Phantom Fox was an extremely peculiar creature.

[If I’m not mistaken, it should be a malicious spirit born after the death of a Fox, ultimately evolving into the notorious Phantom Fox of today after continuous evolution over a long period of time. The fact that a Phantom Fox is lurking in White Dragon’s Lair is a true surprise. All the Mutant Beasts, such as the Mutant Elk, Mutant Tigers, inhabiting White Dragon’s Lair have mostly been white, white as snow. It’s rare to find a non-white Mutant Beast lurking here. But more importantly, the White Flood Dragon had called her Third Sister.]

*Haaa…* Sighing, Ling Er looked at China’s Strongest Knight and Lin Yan, who were entangled with the Phantom Fox, feeling somewhat helpless.

Compared to the strange and unusual Phantom Fox, China’s Strongest Knight and Lin Yan were obviously a bit lacking in strength.

By the looks of it, the strange and unusual Phantom Fox would break free from their siege and once again attack Ling Er.

This was definitely not good news.

As strong as Ling Er and White Elephant were, they already had their hands full with the White Flood Dragon. Furthermore, they still had to be on guard against the other Mutant Beasts lurking nearby.

If, at this moment, the strange and extraordinary Phantom Fox, who was at the peak of Realm of Monarch, were to make another move on Ling Er, she would definitely be in trouble.

With this in mind, Ling Er’s gaze shifted to another corner.

Seemingly sensing Ling Er’s gaze, the figures hiding in the mountain peaks had their eyes flickered a little at this moment.

If any of the Chinese Superhumans were to lay eyes on these figures, they would definitely cry in shock and alarm, “The Dark Council.”

The figures were none other than the members of the Dark Council, the most terrifying force lurking in the darkness of the Human World, and with seven Kings, each of which was a fearsome Transcendent, three of which were present here.

One of them was the Vampire Count Kerry, a blond Caucasian man with an extremely pale complexion, yet bearing a noble charm.

Even now, he was holding a goblet, swaying the crimson blood within it.

“It seems we’ll have to take action soon?” Coldly smiling, Kerry looked at the Phantom Fox, which was attacking Ling Er and White Elephant. Murderous intent flickering in his eyes.

“Yes, very soon.” Caressing the crimson hilt in his hand, the extremely handsome young man, with a crescent moon mark on his forehead and shoulder-length silver-white hair, let the corners of his lips rise, revealing a cold and chilling smile.

He was none other than previously known Silver Moon, aka Zang Feng, the most terrifying Otherkin, who was also known as the ‘most perfect genetic product’. He was the very first Human to fully incorporate the abilities of Mutant Beasts.

Today, he was one of the Seven Kings of the Dark Council, the Moon King, who wielded the Gorewolf Saber, which had drunk the blood of countless victims.

Beside the Vampire Count and the Moon King, there stood a young man with a cold and arrogant expression on his face, looking about 17-18 years old.

Staring at the attacking Phantom Fox, the young man bared his teeth, exuding a chilling coldness.

He was Golden Lion — the Inborn Otherkin, the member of one of the terrifying races of the last era.

However, compared to the Superior Clans like the Three-Eyes Clan, the Lion Clan could not be called a Superior Clan.

However, this young man was an exception.

Just because he had the bloodline of the Golden Lion, which was a terrifying bloodline that could be called ‘royal’ even in the Lion Clan.

With such a bloodline, this young man naturally grew up quickly, and his combat power was not weaker than that of a member of an average Superior Clan.

If a member of the famous Three-Eyes Clan were to fight him, on the premise that he did not open his Heavenly Eye, it would be difficult to determine who would emerge victorious.

Currently, he was one of the Seven Kings of the Dark Council, and the best in battle among all, the Lion King,

At this moment, sipping the crimson wine in his cup, Kerry sighed helplessly and stated, “If we were to take direct action, we risk exposing our plan, and our connection.”

“Indeed.” Nodding in agreement, Zang Feng also showed a hint of helplessness on his face.

After all, the Dark Council could not appear in public.

According to the previous plan, they were supposed to seize the treasure directly after China took action,

However, since China hadn’t successfully subdued White Dragon’s Lair yet, they naturally had no need to act.

As for directly assisting the Empress… the risk was indeed too great.

The existence residing in the heart of Beizing was not someone to be trifled with.

In fact, Ling Er had once suspected that that existence had long known about the secret connection between the Dark Council and Flame City.

“Let’s wait a…” In the middle of speaking, Kerry’s expression changed, seemingly sensing something.

The next moment, he subconsciously turned his head, whereupon two familiar figures came into view, leaving him astonished.

One was a figure with four tails. Although the figure’s momentum wasn’t that imposing, and rather exuded an aura of grace and nobility, each step it took ignited hellfire like deep red flame underneath it, burning everything, as if purifying worldly filth.

The other was a fiendish figure with the head of a Bull and the body of a Human, gleaming with a purple sheen.

“Nine Tails, Bull Demon…” In a solemn voice, Kerry immediately bowed and respectfully greeted, “Greetings, Your Excellencies.”

Having met Nine Tails and Bull Demon before, Kerry naturally recognized them, and being deeply aware of the relationship between Misty Mountains and Ling Er, he immediately expressed his attitude.

“Mhmm… it’s been a long time.” With a simple greeting, Nine Tails’ gaze also focused on Zang Feng and Golden Lion.

She had met both of them before, and was not unfamiliar with them.

[These two had grown stronger than before.] With a slight smile playing on her lips, Nine Tails, ignoring the astonishment of Zang Feng and Golden Lion, raised her head and looked up at the sky, where Ling Er, who was being attacked, was.

“It’s rare to see Eldest Sister in such a plight.”

“It can’t be helped, this White Flood Dragon is indeed a formidable Transcendent in White Dragon’s Lair, and there are many Mutant Beasts lurking in secret,” saying so, Bull Demon’s eyes also narrowed, looking towards various mountain peaks.

As far as his eyes could see, the mountains were shaking, vaguely revealing a hint of formidable aura.

Each of these auras were of Tier-3 Trasncendents, and there were a lot of them.

“It’s indeed a paradise…” faintly praising, Bull Demon tightened the huge axe in his hand.

If not for so many Transcendents lurking around, Qing Er’s combat power wouldn’t be so restrained.

“Shall we, Elder Sister?” Bull Demon’s eyes narrowed as the right arm holding the giant axe flashed with a hint of purple.

“But of course.” Agreeing, Nine Tails also bent her limbs, like a bow as her body became slowly taut.

At the same time, the deep red flames ignited around her.

However, before Bull Demon and Nine Tails could act, a voice of concern suddenly echoed.

“Your Excellencies, if we take action now, wouldn’t it…”

Before Kerry could finish, a cold voice cut in, “We don’t need to have so many scruples.”

At this point, Bull Demon’s voice also slightly rose as he stated with a cold smile, “Remember, we are Misty Mountains. Only the world should be wary of us, we don’t need to care about the world’s opinions.”
