“What secrets does the Natural Steel Elemental hold?” With suspicion, Yu Zi Yu’s branches continuously weaved into a giant hand that lifted the unique Elemental Heart of the Steel Elemental.

From afar, this Elemental Heart resembled a blazing mass of flame, capable of burning everything. What was astonishing about it was that this dark red flame had no temperature, rather it was exuding a hint of cold.

If one took a closer look, they would discover that the Elemental Heart was pulsating like a real heart, as if beating.

“It sure is strange and mystical,” Yu Zi Yu marveled, nodding.

Just by the looks of it, it was already remarkable, let alone the fact that this Steel-Attribute Elemental Heart indeed possessed unimaginable abilities.

One was its Assimilation Ability, enabling the transformation of various Elements into the Steel Element.

The second was Nurturing, which allowed it to create a Steel Elemental Ecosystem using this Elemental Heart.

However, these abilities were far from setting the Steel Elementals apart from the similar Elementals.

Silently pondering, Yu Zi Yu became lost in thought, looking at the Elemental Heart in his hand.

After an unknown amount of time passed, Yu Zi Yu’s branches suddenly trembled as his Spiritual Energy started surging.

*Boom!* With a roar, a vast amount of Spiritual Energy surged into the Elemental Heart.

Immediately afterward, to Yu Zi Yu’s expectant gaze, the flames burning around the Elemental Heart expanded at a visible speed. In just a moment, it had engulfed an area of several dozen meters in radius, and along with it, the ground took on a hint of black.

However, the black color on the ground was not because it was scorched, rather the earth seemed to have turned into black metal.

“Assimilation.” Yu Zi Yu chuckled in joy, somewhat satisfied with the current experiment.

However, this was just the beginning. Considering the extraordinariness of the Steel Elemental Heart, more abilities were waiting for Yu Zi Yu to discover.

After a long while, Yu Zi Yu finally figured out the true secret of the Steel Elemental Heart, albeit using the status screen.

It was Devouring.

It was an extremely remarkable ability that allowed it to acquire the properties of various metals by devouring strange and unusual metals.

These strange and unusual metals did not refer to ordinary metals like iron, copper, gold, but some Metametals with extraordinary abilities.

For example, Immortium, an excellent material rare even in the previous era, used for forging Divine Artifacts. The greatest characteristic of Immortium was its indestructibility. An object forged with Immortium remained unchanged even after countless years.

If a Steel Elemental devoured enough Immortium through the Elemental Heart, it would gain this ‘indestructible’ characteristic.

In light of this, one could imagine why Steel Elemental could dominate other Elementals?

With the support of various Metametals, they possessed talents beyond the imagination of ordinary people.

As for where these Metametals came from? There was no need to even ask.

In any case, they were from the top ten terrifying races of the myriad races. They might not have endless resources, but it shouldn’t be a problem to find some Metametals to consolidate the foundation of their offspring.

This was also the most terrifying aspect of these such powerful races. They had no shortage of resources.

Be that as it may, everything still rested on the Innate Talent of their offspring.

*Haaaa…* Yu Zi Yu exhaled a long, deep breath, gaining some understanding of the terror of the Elemental Heart.

“If it’s really as I suspect, finding some Metametals would be really hard,” muttering to himself, a hint of excitement appeared on Yu Zi Yu’s face.

The only hiccup in it was that he didn’t know whether Metametals like materials still existed in this world.

However, while he might not know about the strange and unusual metals, he did know about some of the exotic metals in this world, like those strange alloys.

Some of their properties were also remarkable. If he could absorb them, it would greatly enhance his own abilities.

However, all of this depended on Yu Zi Yu being able to perfectly integrate the ‘Elemental Heart’.

“The Assimilation Ability of the Elemental Heart is too terrifying. If I want to integrate it perfectly, I need another artifact to suppress…” While in the middle of mumbling, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze suddenly turned to Nine Tails lying nearby on a branch.

“Master…” Seemingly noticing Yu Zi Yu’s gaze, Nine Tails slowly raised her head.

“Nine Tails, I need the Tree Heart to suppress the Elemental Heart,” Yu Zi Yu stated without a hesitation.

“Okay,” Nine Tails smiled before her body suddenly grew bigger.

Then, with a long Fox Howl, a treasure pulsating with a hazy green glow, resembling a heart, flew out from the Nine Tails’ body.

The Tree Heart, a precious treasure nurtured by Yu Zi Yu.

It was also Yu Zi Yu’s second life.

If anything unexpected happened to Yu Zi Yu’s main body, this Tree Heart could raise him once again.

However, Yu Zi Yu had already reached Tier-4, unmatched in the world, so the marvels of this Tree Heart were naturally limited.

And now, what Yu Zi Yu needed from the Tree Heart was its other ability – Gathering Vitality, which made it always brimming with dreadful Vitality.

At this moment, if one looked closely, they would notice that the moment the Tree Heart emerged from Nine Tails’ body, the world around it seemed to have sensed its arrival.

Tender shoots sprouted everywhere, even in the air. It was a terrifying phenomenon.

This demonstrated the endless vitality of the Tree Heart.

According to Yu Zi Yu’s speculation, even if a recently deceased entity devoured the Tree Heart, there would still be a certain chance of resurrection.

This was also a testament of the extraordinary nature of the Tree Heart.

Of course, for the entity to be resurrected, it should have recently died and its vitality should not have completely dissipated.

Otherwise, despite the Tree Heart’s Heaven-Defying ability, it would be futile.

[Using the boundless Vitality of the Tree Heart, I can first suppress the Assimilation of the Elemental Heart, and then I can finish the fusion…] Satisfied with his plan, a smile appeared on Yu Zi Yu’s lips.

Only he could do this.

For another entity, let alone suppressing the Assimilation Ability of the Elemental Heart, it would be difficult just to resist it.

When it came time to really fuse with it, if something unexpected occurred and one failed to suppress the Assimilation Ability, no one would be able to save him or her, not even the Immortals. All one could do was watch themselves helplessly turn into a statue of steel.

However, in Yu Zi Yu’s current view, this was not a problem at all.

Yu Zi Yu’s Tree Heart was no less inferior to the Elemental Heart.

After all, Yu Zi Yu had already reached Tier-4, which also had a certain influence on this companion treasure.

The current Tree Heart might not rival the Natal Supreme Treasures like the Heavenly Eye or the Elemental Heart in terms of rank, given that it was a precious treasure nurtured by Yu Zi Yu, a Tier-4 Transcendent, suppressing the Elemental Heart nurtured by a mere Tier-3 Transcendent should not be difficult.

No matter how Heaven-Defying a Supreme Treasure was, it was still confined by its Tier.

And the so-called Tier was the most insurmountable barrier.

Otherwise, given the fact that Yu Zi Yu’s entire body was full of treasures, there would have been no shortage of people coming to challenge him.
