“Use this Willow Leaf…” Ling Er whispered to herself. She naturally understood that Yu Zi Yu was looking out for her safety.

[If my guess is right, this should be the true life-saving item given by Master.] With this in mind, Ling Er gritted her teeth before tucking the Willow Leaf into her bosom before leaving.

Shortly after Ling Er left, in the bamboo forest of Misty Mountains…

*Tap, tap tap…* With trembling steps, Leng Feng nervously returned to the bamboo forest alone, until he saw the back of a girl deep in the bamboo forest, whereupon his body suddenly trembled.

The next moment, much to the astonishment of countless Rats, their usually indifferent Leader–Leng Feng’s eyes turned red.

“Sis… sister…” Leng Feng mumbled in a trembling voice, even showing an incredulous expression.

At this moment, in another corner of Misty Mountains, the King of the Rat Clan, Shadie, was lying quietly on a tree, and beside him was Old Fifth–Golden Ant, leaning against the trunk of the tree, wearing a cold expression.

“This is what I admired the most about Eldest Sister,” saying so, Shadie’s eyes flickered non-stop.

“Oh!?” Golden Ant smiled. He naturally understood what Shadie meant.

[Even before Leng Feng joined Misty Mountains, Eldest Sister had already investigated Leng Feng’s background thoroughly and took care of his sister and kept that girl by her side. This kind of strategic planning is something not many people can do. However, it makes sense. Eldest Sister is one of the few in Misty Mountain who uses her ‘brain’ first. Compared to these guys who rely solely on brute force, she is much stronger. Moreover, Eldest Sister is pretty strong herself. If I’m right, Eldest Sister is probably about to break through to Tier-3.]

“Tier-3…” Golden Ant murmured, a bit intrigued.

[If Eldest Sister really broke through to Tier-3 first, she’ll be the first in the Human Race, that would be interesting. Perhaps the first ‘Empress’ of the Human Race would be born at that time. By then, with the help of the fertile Human Race, the hope of Divine Tree achieving the Great Dao should increase.]

…

Time passed slowly, and in the blink of an eye, more than ten days had passed.

However, within these ten days, in the far north of the continent, Russia, a shocking incident had occurred, shaking almost half of the continent.

It was related to the so-called Iron Fist Tyrant–Benson, who after becoming an Apex Superhuman overnight, smashed through half of Russia, took a city as his stronghold, proclaimed himself king, and named himself the ‘Tyrant.’

On that day, Russian Superhumans emerged one after another, even one or two Apex Superhumans had appeared.

However, when everyone came face to face with Benson, who had also stepped into the ranks of Apex Superhuman, the air grew heavy.

Until a sneer echoed in the air, “The high-level officials in the government stopped trusting me. They left me with no choice. If it were you, would you be willing to bow your head, and let yourself be sliced and diced for research?”

Clearly, he was speaking with a smile, but the coldness in his words made many Superhumans’ eyes flicker.

[Indeed. This is an era where strength commands respect. As a Superhuman, how can one easily bow their head? Any other Superhuman would have been utterly defeated, but not Benson, the Iron Fist Tyrant—an Apex Superhuman and one of the strongest beings on the continent.]

[An Apex Superhuman like him transcends everyone in status. Yet, there are some conservative individuals who persist in viewing them with an ‘old-fashioned’ mindset. It’s both laughable and ironic. Did they truly believe that the ‘current Superhumans’ could be manipulated as they pleased?]

…

However, at this moment, a voice suddenly emerged from the crowd, “Tyrant, does your sudden breakthrough to the Apex Order have anything to do with Misty Mountains?”

Upon hearing this, Benson suddenly burst into laughter.

The corner of his lips curled into a bit of a strange expression, but mostly it was a knowing expression.

He had already guessed it.

So many Superhumans had gathered here, mostly to obtain the secret behind his breakthrough to the Apex Order. After all, despite his amazing strength, he was only ranked 20th in Russia. There were many Superhuman with pretty good chances of becoming Apex Superhumans.

Now, not only did he become an Apex Superhuman, but his foundation was also solid. Moreover, there was even hope for him to break through to Tier-3.  In light of this, it would be strange that these Superhumans were not moved.

In other words, this gathering of Russian Superhumans was not so much to suppress him as it was to force him to reveal the secret.

As for taking it up with Misty Mountains, to put it bluntly, even if they were given the courage of a bear and the guts of a leopard, they would not dare to go there.

The terror of the Divine Tree was no joke.

Realizing this, Benson let out a deep sigh.

Immediately after, his Spiritual Energy surged as replied with a laugh, “My breakthrough to the Apex Order is quite simple.”

Saying so, Benson took out an exquisite transparent bottle from his pocket. Inside the bottle, the Superhumans spotted two drops of highly viscous green liquid.

“I obtained this treasure from Misty Mountains, in exchange for some resources. I initially had seven drops in total. After consuming four, I became an Apex Superhuman.”

Hearing Benson’s revelation, not to mention ordinary Superhumans, even the two Apex Superhumans of Russia could not help but have their eyes flicker.

Right at that very moment, Benson’s cold laughter filled the air as he continued, “I even voluntarily handed one drop over to the higher-ups in the government. Yet, a few old stooges came to hear that this green sap could extend their lifespan from who knows where. They shamelessly begged me for the remaining two drops. One of them even threatened me…”

At this point, Benson could not help but pat his chest and asked in a cold voice, “Comrades, can you imagine me enduring it with my explosive temper?”

“Uh…”

Everyone looked a bit stunned. Clearly, they were caught in a dilemma.

However, at this moment, before everyone could speak, Benson started speaking again, “Of course, I can’t. Fuck, a freaking old twit on the deathbed dared to threaten me. That stupid twit still thought that it’s the old days. I got so angry that I slapped him to death right away. After that, as everyone saw, the higher-ups in the government  mobilized the entire nation’s power to suppress me alone.”

Benson did not add any more details. However, seeing the puzzled expressions on everyone’s face, he felt satisfied with this impromptu speech.

Then, he smacked his right wrist.

*Boom…*

Accompanied by a mighty force from his palm, the bottle containing two drops of Life Essence flew towards the crowd.

“Comrades, I offer these last two drops with both hands. Then, please everyone, do not disturb me.”

With these words, Benson directly turned around and started making his way towards the city behind him.

However, hearing the sounds of fighting and screams behind him, the corner of Benson’s lips twisted into a strange smirk.

“Hmph, you stupid fools dare to scheme against me? If I do not play you to death, I won’t be called ‘Benson,’” muttering to himself, Benson’s gaze also shifted to a corner of the city.

Faintly, he made eye contact with a handsome young man with long silver hair and pale skin.

The next moment, both of them burst into laughter.

“It was nice cooperating with you.”
