The term ‘Celestial Tree’ in Egyptian mythology was the title for a Divine Tree, and its name suggested a connection with the Heavens.

According to the records, it represented the sky in Egyptian mythology, and all Gods reside on this tree. The leaves and fruits on this tree were believed to be the celestial bodies such as the sun, moon, and stars.

Now, the Lord of the Desert who called himself ‘Seth’ referred to Yu Zi Yu as the ‘Celestial Tree,’ expressing his obvious respect.

Aware of this point, Nine Tails slowly closed her eyes, choosing to focus on her breakthrough.

After all, for someone as terrifying as him, there was no need to resort to deception? If he wanted, he could suppress them effortlessly. So, why bother fabricating lies?

…

Shortly after that, the entire battlefield was suppressed by the desert and storm. In the face of a catastrophic force such as a natural disaster, individuals were undoubtedly insignificant.

Perhaps, for the Lord of the Desert–Seth, he could erase Tier-0 creatures with a mere breath.

This was the terrifying part of a Tier-3 Transcendent, which was designated as Catastrophe Class.

With a raised hand, he suppressed the battlefield.

With a wave, he flattened the multitude of beasts.

After a short while…

*Cough, cough, cough…*

In the midst of coughing, a claw suddenly emerged from the desert, which had just witnessed Mutant Beasts buried in the sand.

And following this, a tiny golden figure slowly crawled out.

“That was really terrifying!”

Expressing his deep admiration, Golden Ant looked at the battlefield now littered with bones and mutilated pieces of flesh, a hint of shock apparent in his eyes.

Apparently, this scene left quite a big impact on the current Golden Ant. However, what Golden Ant did not know was that even someone as strong as the Lord of the Desert was utterly horrified when he witnessed Yu Zi Yu’s figure that day.

The stronger one was, the better one could fathom Yu Zi Yu’s terror.

For beings like the Golden Ant and even Nine Tails, who had just advanced to Tier-2, they could not begin to fathom the terrifying strength of the current Yu Zi Yu.

However, one thing was certain: both Golden Ant and Nine Tails firmly believed that their ‘Divine Tree’ was invincible. It was an indisputable fact.

Over the years, Yu Zi Yu had given many Mutant Beasts the greatest confidence.

From the bottom of their Soul, they believed that the invincible Divine Tree would surely rule the entire era!

—

Time passed slowly, and in the blink of an eye, several days had passed.

On this day, the expression of the Lord of the Desert–Seth, seated cross-legged on the ground, suddenly changed, and he gripped the specter in his hand tightly, as if sensing something.

The very next moment…

*Boom, boom, boom…*

The desert trembled and creaking sound came from the nearby Fire-Attribute Spirit Stone Mine, giving the impression of wailing.

Simultaneously, a hill near the Fire-Attribute Spirit Stone Mine witnessed the sudden emergence of a towering tree rising from the ground.

Its branches kept stretching far and wide, as if reaching for the stars. Its trunk continued to thicken, as if it was preparing itself to hold up the entire world.

“Some guys sure have guts,” a faint voice echoed in the air, shaking the world.

Right at this moment, the one that drew his most attention was the Lord of the Desert.

All around him, lightning arcs started streaking around him.

At the same time, his body slowly started to grow bigger and bigger. His sharp fangs started protruding outwards. His arms and thighs grew thicker as bulging veins appeared on them. His figure started to look more and more fiendish. His face had become grim and hideous, and his facial features happened to be controlling as if under some pressure.

“Master, he’s the one who helped us,” a reminder suddenly echoed in Yu Zi Yu’s mind.

“Is that so!?” Muttering, Yu Zi Yu started retracting his pressure.

Naturally, he knew that this mysterious Tier-3 Mutant Beast was a friend, not a foe. Otherwise, given Five-Color Spirit Flower and others’ strength, they would not have even been able to escape.

However, even if he was a friend, it was necessary to inspire awe in him. This was just how powerful entities demanded respect.

…

At this moment, feeling the overwhelming pressure dissipate, the Lord of the Desert also retracted his fiendish form and transformed back into a humanoid creature holding a scepter, resembling a sage.

*Haaa…* Exhaling the long, deep breath, the Lord of the Desert–Seth suppressed the shock in his heart and respectfully greeted, “Greetings, Celestial Tree.”

“Celestial Tree!?” Yu Zi Yu was a bit puzzled by this new way of address.

After a moment, seemingly aware of Yu Zi Yu’s confusion, the Lord of the Desert Seth calmly explained, “According to Human culture I’ve studied, the Celestial Tree symbolizes the Heavens. All the leaves and fruits on its branches represent the celestial bodies in the sky, such as the sun, moon, and stars.”

“So that’s how it is.” Yu Zi Yu nodded as realization dawned upon him.

[This should be a form of address. At least, the respect he is showing before me is genuine. Of course, the most important thing was that he had saved Nine Tails and the others.] That was also the reason why Yu Zi Yu, upon sensing his presence, did not immediately attack. Otherwise, even if he was a Tier-3 Transcendent, he could do nothing before Yu Zi Yu.

With only two million Spiritual Energy and the lack of any Divine Ability, he was not qualified to face Yu Zi Yu, who already had one foot in Tier-4.

Although it would be a bit troublesome, it was not impossible for Yu Zi Yu to suppress Seth, given his current strength.

…

However, it was not the time to dwell on these matters. Yu Zi Yu turned his attention to the battlefield, and after pondering for a while, he roughly understood the course of events.

[If I’m right, the commotion caused by Nine Tails’ breakthrough must have attracted the beast tide.] Considering this, Yu Zi Yu took the initiative to convey his gratitude, “I appreciate your timely help. Although I don’t know why you helped Nine Tails, I appreciate your kindness.”

As soon as he heard Yu Zi Yu’s words, a rare look of happiness and excitement appeared on the Lord of the Desert–Seth’s face as he responded, “Thank you, Celestial Tree, your words are more than enough.”

“Mhmm.” Yu Zi Yu nodded slightly, not caring much about it.

With his astuteness, he could naturally tell that Seth had set his sights on him.

However, considering that Nine Tails and even Five-Color Spirit Flower survived because of him, Yu Zi Yu acknowledged his goodwill.

This was his minimum principle.

Compared to the initially tense atmosphere, the subsequent conversation was quite pleasant.

Through the conversation, Yu Zi Yu learned about Seth’s identity.

He was one of the Ten Monstrosities of the Continent, ranked fourth as the Lord of the Desert. His name alone was enough to send shivers down the spine of several countries in the desert.

However, compared to Yu Zi Yu, who held the top spot among the Ten Monstrosities of the Continent as the Tree Monster, there was still quite a huge gap between the two.

However, this was just the beginning.

In the subsequent conversation, Yu Zi Yu learned quite a few interesting details.

To be precise, Seth happened to be quite talkative. He rarely found someone to talk to. So, he seemed eager to share everything on his mind.

According to him, his understanding of the world was taught by an old Human.

Due to his appearance, the old man revered him as a God, and called him the ‘God of the Desert and Storm.’

After that Human’s passing, Seth continued to use the name ‘Seth’, which the old man had bestowed upon him.
