A deafening roar reverberated through the sky as a terrifying shockwave spread to the farthest distance.

Looking up, a colossal Python, seemingly made of sand, had been punched through, with a hollow the size of a water bucket.

What made Golden Ant’s pupils contract was that the giant Python that appeared to be made of sand, did not lose momentum; instead, it lashed back with an even more horrifying speed.

What left Golden Ant even more amazed were the streams of sand circulating inside the hollow cavity of the colossal Python. In just a moment, the hollow cavity on the Sand Python had disappeared, as if it was not even injured.

“Huh!?” In rare moment of astonishment, Golden Ant realized huge trouble was in store for him.

[If my guess is right, it could very likely be an Elemental Lifeform like Qing Gang. But, unlike Qing Gang’s Earth Element, it is coalesced from boundless sand. That’s how it managed to take my punch, without even a scratch.]

*Haaaa…* Golden Ant, shrouded in a red mist, took a long, deep breath. Then, a cold gleam flashed in his eyes as he dashed straight toward the Sand Python.

At this point, he had no choice. Among the raiding Mutant Beasts, this Sand Python was the most ferocious.

Five-Color Spirit Flower, who was just as strong as him, had her hands full intercepting the majority of the Rat Tide. She was already at her limit. As for the rest, they were incapable of stopping this Sand Python.

Apart from him, no one else was up for this task.

Thinking of this, Golden Ant’s eyes became even colder.

Faintly, a very cold voice lingered in the air, “Strength Boost–3rd Stage.”

The Third Stage was the limit of Golden Ant’s current body.

This time, Golden Ant had decided to reach a swift conclusion. There was no room for any delay.

And just as the Golden Ant’s words fell…

*Boom!*

A sky-shattered crash resounded through the desert. Followed by a blood-red tornado rising into the sky. However, deep within this blood-red tornado, a tiny figure could be seen rushing towards the oncoming Sand Python like a meteor.

*Booooooooooom!* A deafening clap reverberated through the sky as a mushroom cloud rose in the desert.

Adding to the dread, the desert fiercely shook as a massive crater, the size of a small city, appeared.

“Old Fourth is so terrifying!?” Not to mention other Mutant Beasts, even the well-experienced Five-Color Spirit Flower could not help but gasp in shock. This level of might and destruction was simply too appalling.

However, right then, the Five-Color Spirit Flower’s expression suddenly changed. “Be careful!”

With a hint of urgency, a voice rang in Golden Ant’s mind.

At this time, Golden Ant, who happened to be kneeling in the center of the crater, also seemed to have noticed something and swung a backhand punch.

*Boom!* The terrifying punch gave rise to a fearsome storm just from the resulting air pressure.

*Hisssss…* A shrill hiss, but different from a snake’s hiss, suddenly echoed from the deep pit.

Looking toward the source, Golden Ant was taken aback at the sight of a terrifying figure coalesced from sand hovering in the air, wreathed in pain, as countless wind blades continuously cut through it.

But the next moment….

*Swash…* The sand suddenly became loose and sprinkled to the ground like raindrops.

“It disappeared again,” Golden Ant murmured to himself, his face becoming increasingly gloomy.

It was strange, extremely strange. The punch he had just unleashed was devastating enough to crush it, but the instant it was destroyed, the Sand Python disappeared.

Suddenly and without a trace.

And now, it appeared once again, coalescing using the sand.

“Is this really a Mutant Python?” In doubt, Golden Ant gritted his teeth. His body happened to be under tremendous strain. If he failed to end the battle soon, his body might shatter even without the intervention of this weird creature.

…

While Golden Ant was fiercely battling with the strange Sand Python, elsewhere, the Snow Leopard, Mantis, Lupin, and the others, were also engaging their respective opponents.

Their opponents were creatures resembling Ostriches, but with exceptionally full plumage. With just a flap of their wings, they could create a massive sandstorm.

They also had to deal with extremely petite and agile Mutant Beasts like cats.

Luckily, Mutant Mantis’s instantaneous speed and outburst of strength was no less than that of the opponent.

*Buzz, buzz…* Amidst sudden buzzing, Mutant Mantis transformed into a streak of green, ruthlessly slashing down the large machete in his hand.

However, this was just the beginning.

Slowly raising her eyes, Five-Color Spirit Flower saw one oncoming Mutant Beast after another, and her heart was burdened with worries. Vaguely, she even sensed many more hordes of Mutant Beasts rushing over in the distance.

“This beast tide is even bigger and more fearsome than the one I attracted when I broke through.” Amidst showing hints of self-mockery, Five-Color Spirit Flower felt a bit powerless.

However, it was not surprising. She broke through in a remote corner— the Deadwood Wetlands. Whereas, now, they were in the lawless Taklamakan Desert, overrun by Mutant Beasts.

If they did not attract a few fearsome Mutant Beasts, it would not be worthy of being the Taklamakan Desert.

…

And at that moment, as if sensing something, a smile tugged the corners of Five-Color Spirit Flower’s lips. At the same time, an inexplicable force surged underground.

The next moment…

*Hisssss…* A mournful hiss echoed across the desert as a grim and hideous Mutant Beast, that was just half a meter long, leaped out of the sand.

“Mutant Armadillo Lizard…” Looking at this Mutant Creature, Five-Color Spirit Flower’s voice turned even colder.

The Mutant Armadillo Lizard happened to be a very dreadful Mutant Beast. It had a tiny body, but its entire body was covered in armor-like large scales, dark yellow in color.

According to the Human encyclopedia, when this creature encountered danger in the wild, it would bite its tail and face all the hard scales toward the enemy to protect the soft part of its abdomen.

Now, this Tier-1 Mutant Armadillo Lizard, after encountering her psychic attack, did just that.

Biting its tail tightly, it curled its entire body into a ball…

Slowly, it even started rolling, as if it would accelerate and roll towards a distant location in a moment.

“Since you like to roll so much, then roll towards the beast tide!” Coldly smiling, Five-Color Spirit Flower strengthened her control over the creature once again.

The next moment…

*Swoosh…” Guided by Five-Color Spirit Flower, this Tier-1 Mutant Armadillo Lizard unexpectedly started rolling along the desert, darting towards the distant beast tide.

As it rolled faster and faster, its spikes covering its body became even sharper.

Moments later, blood splattered, dyeing a corner of the battlefield red.

However, it was hard to distinguish whether it was the blood of the Mutant Armadillo Lizard or that of other Mutant Beasts.

Nonetheless, there was one thing certain, this rare Mutant Beast was on the brink of death.
