“Attack…” a unified thunderous roar shook half the city.

The entire city had turned into a battlefield.

Looking around, the already devastated city was now riddled with even more destruction.

Towerous waves came crashing mercilessly into the city, unleashing a myriad of Sea Creatures in their tumultuous embrace. Undeterred, Humans armed with determination raised their weapons and charged headlong into the oncoming Sea Creatures.

*Bang, bang, bang…” Continuous collisions echoed through the city as scales and blades clashed time and time again.

However, amidst all this, the most striking was the blood splattering all around.

With a crack, a Human was already split in two by the pincer of a Mutant Green Crab.

“Old Niu!” screaming in a heart-wrenching voice, another Human rushed straight towards the Mutant Green Crab without a moment of hesitation.

“Go to Hell!” With a furious shout, the saber in his hand fiercely slashed towards the Mutant Crab’s head.

*Squish…*

Amidst a series of sparks, as the Human looked at the white mark on the shell of the Giant Crab, that was as tall as an average Human, a chill ran down his spine.

“A Transcendent…” mumbling in a bitter voice, the Human, who had just advanced into Tier-0, was met with a pair of cold and ruthless eyes.

The next moment, much to his despair, a massive pincer, three meters long, came crashing down on him.

However, just at that moment, a cold snort sounded in the distance.

Before this Human could react, a crisp sound, akin to silk tearing, echoed through the street,

Much to the shock and dismay of the Tier-0 Human, he noticed a fist-sized hole appear on the body of the Transcendent Crab out of nowhere.

Through this hole, the Tier-0 Human even caught sight of countless Mutant Sea Creatures with a similar hole through their bodies.

“What just happened!?”

In disbelief, the Tier-0 Human was utterly stunned.

The next moment…

With a boom, a fierce gale blew over, before a pitch-black, mysterious figure appeared at the end of the street.

In his right hand, he happened to be holding the shot he had shot.

“This is not the place you can meddle.”

Reminding him, the Strongest Knight of China, the Knights of legends, slowly raised his eyes, looking towards the overwhelming tide of beasts not far away.

However, before he could take any action…

An ear-piercing shout suddenly echoed in the rear, “Thief, how dare you?”

As the words fell, a silver-white sword energy arc, hundreds of feet in length, tore through the sky.

“These guys.”

Looking at the spot where the Sword Qi was raging, the expression of China’s Strongest Knight also changed slightly.

[As expected, these guys have come for the Wyvern Egg.]

…

Just at this moment…

In the center of the city, a massive building suddenly exploded, as countless criss-crossing sword lights flashed from within.

*Thud, thud, thud…* Accompanied by heavy footsteps, a figure in green robe, with a somewhat weakened aura but exuding an air of elegance and nobility, slowly walked out from with the criss-crossing sword flashes.

Elder Qing, an Apex Superhuman, who had suddenly appeared out of nowhere, a character that even Ling Er feared. Now, this noble and ethereal figure happened to be wearing a grim expression on his face, coldly staring at the figures that emerged from hidden corners of the city one after another.

Most of these figures were wearing masks, hiding their identities. However, after a brief confrontation, Elder Qing had already recognized them.

“Russia’s Iron Fist Tyrant–Benson, Buddhist Religion’s Snake Charmer Lineage, and…Vietnam’s Vua Đá… Good, very good.”

In a cold tone, Elder Qing pointed out the identities of many present, disregarding any sense of courtesy.

The coldness in his tone made everyone present a little apprehensive.

“Why bother hiding at this point!?” Sighing, the stalwart Russian, known as the Iron Fist Tyrant, removed his mask. He did not want to escalate the situation.

However, with Elder Qing pointing them out like this, he had no choice.

*Haaaa…* A sigh escaped Benson’s lips as lightning began flashing around his fists. More terrifyingly, his aura was rising at a frightening pace…

On the other side, the Superhumans of other factions also stepped forward.

They might not have done it before, but with their identities exposed, which was equivalent to tearing off their masks, they would not hold back either.

Fortunately, the three Apex Superhumans of China were more or less injured by now. Among them, the Strongest Knight, with half of his arm torn, was resisting the beast tide at the forefront.

Otherwise, these people would have the courage to make a move.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to the crowd, in a small corner of the building those Superhumans had almost destroyed, a hint of emerald green broke out from the ground, before gently growing into a Willow Tree, over ten meters tall.

“Long time no see, Ling Er.” With a smile, Yu Zi Yu’s voice rang in a girl’s mind, who was sitting cross-legged not far away, meditating.

“Long time no see, Master.” Ling Er’s voice trembled slightly, suppressing the excitement in her heart.

But after a moment, as if realizing something, her gaze suddenly shifted to both sides.

However, to her surprise, the Humans who were guarding the Wyvern Egg with her, had been frozen into ice sculptures at some point.

“Don’t worry, they won’t be walking out of here alive…”

Saying so, Yu Zi Yu shot a deep gaze towards the outside, adding, “If you want, not a single Human or Mutant Beast would be able to walk out alive from this city.”

In Yu Zi Yu’s rare moment of coldness, a suffocating atmosphere permeated the air.

However, after a moment, Ling Er shook her head fiercely, refusing, “No, Master. If you do this, the Chinese government will go crazy.”

Listening to Ling Er’s explanation, Yu Zi Yu could not help but smile in agreement.

Indeed, if all the Superhumans present here were wiped out, China would probably directly wage war against Misty Mountains. After all, there were three Apex Superhumans here, as well as many Tier-2 Superhumans. The death of so many Superhumans would definitely shake China’s whole foundation. At that point, the crazed China might resort to extreme measures.

Thinking this, Yu Zi Yu stated with a smile, “I was just saying, that’s all.”

However, in a moment, Yu Zi Yu’s tone changed, as he coldly asked, “Tell me, who among these Humans do you want to send to meet the King of Hell.”

“Uh…”

Ling Er was briefly stunned, feeling helpless.

[Looking at Master’s attitude, I guess someone is going to die today. But, I guess it shouldn’t come as a surprise. He rarely goes out, so how could it end without bloodshed? As the Master of Misty Mountains, arriving in such a grand manner, slipping away now would deal a significant blow to his prestige, wouldn’t it?]

[Well, that doesn’t matter right now. What’s more important is that I need to use Master’s hands to kill a few people, like Elder Qing]

With these thoughts in mind, Ling Er frankly replied, “Master, can you kill Elder Qing? He is one of the two Apex Superhumans of China other than me. Do take his body away. It would cause issues if not taken away. Also, if possible, it is better not to just leave once you are done taking the eggs. It might cause problems like them underestimating you.”

Speaking to this point, Ling Er also mentioned the names of a few more Humans, who were at odds with her.

She was quite adept at getting rid of dissidents.

If she was not afraid of China’s extreme measures, she would not have stopped Yu Zi Yu from wiping out everyone present.

Besides, her position in China was stable now. If everyone present died, and only she survived, the Chinese government would surely be suspicious of her.

Not killing everyone but only a select few was beneficial to her plans.

As far as she was concerned, the best way to deal with Humans was not through forceful suppression, but nibbling away bit by bit.

It may sound implausible, but it was the most effective method.

Like now, hailed as the ‘Empress,’ she had quietly taken control of three cities in China.

And that was also one of the reasons why Yu Zi Yu was seeking her opinion when dealing with the Humans.

A moment’s pleasure might be good, but ruining Ling Er’s plans would be somewhat unwise.
