Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 741: Xi Hongyan

In the Heaven Blossom Realm, a flying artifact had just landed in front of the Sun Tower, and a young man hurriedly descended before storing it away. The young man is Shang Xiaojuan, who has always been crazy about Shang Yaolin.

”Is this tower really the key to going to the realms beyond the upper realms? If thatʼs true, I must strive hard to reach its peak; only then can I surpass the cultivators in the Red Sun Realm. If I can do that, I will definitely kill that bastard Shang Huaqiang because heʼs been trampling on my family for too long, and no one can stop me from getting Yaolin anymore.” Shang Xiaojian then turned to the crowd of men outside the walls surrounding the Sun Tower. He usually didnʼt need to bother with other peopleʼs business, but their condition sparked his curiosity, and he immediately approached them. ”What happened to you?”

”Young master, we are slaves, and our situation has been like this for generations.” A man then pointed to the floating island, and Shang Xiaojuan followed that direction. ”All the women in this realm live on that island, and they have enslaved us.”

”Oh?” Shang Xiaojuan was surprised to hear that. ”What really happened? Why did all those women enslave you guys?”

One of the men immediately explained to Shang Xiaojuan their situation in the past. Back then, their male ancestors enslaved all the women in their realm, but the situation changed after one of the female ancestors found the floating island, along with various valuable treasures in it, which ultimately reversed their situation.

”So there are only women on the floating island, huh?” They nodded to Shang Xiaojuan, but he couldnʼt care about those women. In his eyes, there was no woman better than Shang Xiaoyin, let alone the woman from a small realm in the middle realms.

”Can you free us, young master?”

”I am not interested in your affairs, so you can spend your lives as slaves.” Shang Xiaojuan immediately refused, disappointing the men. He did not care about their reactions and walked towards the stone obelisk. When he arrived there, he immediately touched it, but he did nothing and sat cross-legged in front of it. ”My master asked me to wait for her, so I should wait here, or she will beat me if I donʼt listen to her.”

Dressed in a tight black and red robe, which emphasizes the sexiness of her figure, a young woman around her early thirties walked out of the room. Her long and smooth, black hair was coiled on top of her head, adorned by a black tiara, with the front hanging down to her waist. Her lovely face was as cold as the middle of winter, and not the slightest emotion could be seen on it.

The woman has big and round eyes, with pupils as black as ink. She has a slender nose, but it is slightly bent like an eagleʼs beak. Her lips were small but thick, covered in thick red lipstick.

”Xi Zhenyang.”

A young man immediately appeared and knelt on one knee. ”What can I do for you, Master Hongyan?”

The woman was the leader of the Xi Clan, Xi Hongyan, who had just come out of her seclusion. ”We will face Shang Huaqiang and his Shang Clan soon, but we have to unite the western region first, so I want you to lead our members and use force to subdue the other clans. If they dare to oppose us, you can get rid of the important people in their clans.”

”Yes, Master.”

After the young man disappeared, a young woman appeared by Xi Hongyanʼs side. ”What are your plans for Mai Xiaomeng, Big Sis? They are living in the southern region now, and they seem to have decided to join the Hong Clan.”

”The Hong Clan, huh?” Xi Hongyan muttered to herself while frowning. ”Have the other clans decided to join them, Xi Xiuling?”

”The Hao, Qiao, Tie, Tao, Miao, Lai, Deng, Huang, Li, and Wu clans had already joined the Hong Clan. However, the Wang and Dai clans decided to join Shang Huaqiang.” Xi Hongyan was not surprised to hear about the relationship of the last three clans, and she had expected it to be a long time ago. ”The clans that are still in a neutral position are the Huo, Niu, Ren, and Jin clans. However, I heard that Shang Ziyuan went to see Ren Dongcheng a month ago, but I have no information on whether that old man is willing to join her or not.”

”The Huo clan is no less powerful than the Shang and Hong clans, and they control the alchemy market in our realm. Moreover, they have a favorable relationship with Tian Shuixiang and Lin Jingxia, so I believe Huo Jiguang will never join any camp. The Niu clan was tied in marriage with the Huo clan, so they should be on their side. Ren Dongcheng was not a fool, and he knew that the Shang clan only wanted to use them. Unfortunately, he couldnʼt possibly remain neutral forever, and his best choice was to join the Hong clan. Jin Ruyueʼs character was hard to predict, so the chances of her joining one of those clans were still fifty-fifty.” Xi Hongyan then pondered a few things before speaking again. ”Xiuling, I will go to the southern region to meet Mai Xiaomeng, and I want you to lead additional people to help Xi Zhenyang subdue the clans in this region.”

Xi Xiuling was a little surprised by Xi Hongyanʼs decision, but she did not refute or ask further. ”Iʼll gather them now, Big Sis.”

”Do you think you can escape from me, Xiaomeng? Even if Hong Quan protects you, you will still fall into my hands.” After that, Xi Hongyan left her Xi Clan for the southern region, but she was in no rush to get there.

”Patriarch.” Shang Huaqiang turned to Shang Xishun, who had just arrived. She was the woman Zhang Fei had met in the Netherworld Realm when she and Feng Yao had destroyed the demon portal. ”Xi Hongyan has already come out of her isolation, and she is on her way to this region.”

”What is Xi Hongyanʼs purpose for going to this region?”

”Ma Xiaomeng.” Shang Huaqiang raised his eyebrows in surprise. ”Patriarch, everyone in this realm knows that Xi Hongyan is obsessed with her, and she must have heard that she brought her cat race members to this region.”

Shang Huaqiang then asked again. ”Did they tell you the situation in the western region?”

”Xi Hongyanʼs clan members seem to be preparing to do something, and I guess that she wants to use force to subdue all the clans in that region.”

ʼThat ambitious woman has lost her patience, huh? Otherwise, she wouldnʼt do that, especially since her clan would face resistance from the other clans, which would only be detrimental to them.ʼ Shang Huaqiang then gave his order. ”Xishun, I want you to go to the Wasteland Realm secretly, and I want you to report to me about any changes that occur in the northern island.”

”Do you suspect anything, Patriarch?”

Shang Huaqiang nodded at her. ”Shang Baishi knew the risks if he dared to touch Shang Xiaoyin, but they suddenly had a love affair and ran away together, and Iʼm sure there was a mastermind behind their relationship. In addition, Shang Yifen and Shang Xinyu also disappeared without a trace, and I suspect all these matters are related to each other, so I want you to investigate it thoroughly. If my guess is correct, I want you to capture the culprit and bring that person to me, and I will decide my next step after that.”

”I will leave for the Wasteland Realm right now, Patriarch.”

After Shang Xishun left, Shang Huaqiang immediately contacted Fei Qinyuan, who was at the Fei Clan, informing her about Xi Hongyan.

Meanwhile, Mai Xiaomeng had arrived at the new residence of the Murong Clan, her expression much more relieved after her discussion with Hong Quan and Hong Chong. She then went to see Murong Qianying and Hong Xinxin, who were chatting in the back area. ”Hey, Xi Hongyan has come out of her seclusion, and the situation in the western region will be chaotic soon, especially since she ordered her clan members to force those clans to submit to her.”

”Xi Hongyan has lost her patience, huh?” Murong Qianying muttered with a frown. ”Do you think she has thought about going against Shang Huaqiang and the Shang Clan?”

”Xi Hongyan has never liked Shang Huaqiang, and she has always been ambitious to make her Xi Clan the best in this realm. Since she intends to subjugate those clans, her cultivation has probably been broken through to the 2-Moon Divine Ascendant by now. However, her strength is still insufficient to fight against Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun, and her clan will be destroyed if she insists on fighting them.” Hong Xinxin then asked Mai Xiaomeng. ”Did she come here to look for you?”

”Why are you asking the obvious?” Mai Xiaomeng replied with a heavy sigh. ”Xi Hongyan is too obsessed with me, and she is on her way here now. Therefore, I met your father and grandfather earlier, and I asked for their help to stop her.”

Hong Xinxin nodded in understanding and spoke to her via voice transmission. ʼI will discuss this with Zhang Fei first, and I hope he will agree to send you and your race members to another realm so that my Hong Clan will not have to clash needlessly with Xi Hongyan.ʼ

Mai Xiaomengʼs eyes gleamed with joy after hearing that. ʼAll right, you can contact him now! I donʼt want to meet that mad woman, and I will suffer if I fall into her hands.ʼ

Hong Xinxin immediately contacted Zhang Fei to discuss it. Although he did not like Mai Xiaomeng very much, he realized that the Hong and Murong clans still needed her and her Mai Clan, so he immediately agreed to it. ʼHey! He agreed to move you and your clan members to another realm, so we will return to my clan now.ʼ

ʼThatʼs great!ʼ Mai Xiaomeng replied with joy.

”Sister Qianying, have you collected the Yin Qi that Longʼer asked for?”

Murong Qianying immediately gave Hong Xinxin a storage ring. ”I donʼt know why Longʼer needs Yin Qi from cultivators in the Seven Divine Realms, but there are 100 bottles in it, and the rest is Yin Qi from cultivators in the Saint Realm and above.”

”In that case, Xiaomeng and I will return to my clan first, especially since Longʼer will pick me up soon.” Murong Qianying wanted to leave with Hong Xinxin, but she still couldnʼt leave her clan.

Upon their arrival at the Hong clan, Mai Xiaomeng immediately asked all of her clan members to gather there, and she asked her members who were still in other regions to hide in another place that was safe from Xi Hongyan and her Xi Clan. ”When will Zhang Fei pick us up?”

”Why are you impatient?” Hong Xinxin asked with a shake of her head. ”He is still tempering his body, and he will pick us up as soon as he is done. Moreover, your clan members have not gathered here yet, so you should wait patiently.”

”All right then.”

Hong Xinxin then went to her family and told them her plans for Mai Xiaomeng and her clan. Although Hong Quan and the others did not mind helping them, they were also relieved if the cat race members were moved to another realm temporarily.

”Xinʼer, I want you to introduce Zhang Fei to us.”

Hong Xinxin sighed helplessly before nodding to her grandfather. ”If he wants to meet you guys, I brought him here directly, but I wonʼt force him if he doesnʼt feel ready.”

”Try persuading him first.”

”Yes.”

After flying through the darkness of outer space for nearly two months, Shang Baishi and Shang Xiaoyin finally arrived at a realm in the lower realms. Fortunately, they had a flying artifact with high enough speed, or else they would have had to spend a lot longer arriving at the lower realms.

Shang Baishi, who was flying his flying artifact, suddenly received a long-distance message. He then informed Shang Xiaoyin about it. ”Wife, your mother went to look for us, and she left our realm a month ago.”

”Do you think my mother will find us here?” Shang Xiaoyin frantically asked.

Shang Baishi shook his head. ”I canʼt confirm that because my informant doesnʼt know your motherʼs exact destination, but I hope she wonʼt guess that we are in the lower realms.”

”I hope so.” Shang Xiaoyin then pointed at the planet in front of them. ”Why canʼt I feel the Qi from that planet?”

”Hmm?” Shang Baishi then looked at the planet and realized the situation. ”Since there is no Qi on that planet, we will hide there for the time being. Even if your mother realized that we were in the lower realms, she would never suspect that we were hiding there.”

Shang Xiaoyin immediately agreed with that. ”Letʼs go there, husband. Iʼm almost two months pregnant, so I want to enjoy a quiet life.”

”All right.” Shang Baishi immediately flew the flying artifact into that realm.

None of the planetʼs inhabitants noticed their presence because Shang Baishi used a shield on his flying artifact. However, he and Shang Xiaoyin immediately noticed the presence of several cultivators on the planet. ”Did you feel that, husband?”

”Yes.” Shang Baishi replied with a nod. ”There are three cultivators in this realm, but they are too weak for their cultivation in the ten mortal realms.”

Shang Xiaoyin frowned before asking. ”What if we get rid of them? Iʼm afraid they will spread our presence on this planet, and my mother might find us here.”

”No need.” Shang Baishi refused her. ”With their low cultivation, they wonʼt be able to notice our presence, so we donʼt need to do anything to them. Moreover, you are pregnant with our child now, so we shouldnʼt dirty our hands with blood.”

”Yeah, youʼre right.” Shang Xiaoyin then pointed toward a mountain. ”I couldnʼt detect anyone there, and it was quite remote, so I thought it would be a good place for us to stay until our child was born. After our child is born, we must leave this realm, or our child will not be able to cultivate because there is no Qi on this planet.”

After making sure the mountain was far from people, Shang Baixi immediately took Shang Xiaoyin there. He looked for the flattest place and landed his flying artifact there. ”You can stay here first, and I will go find materials to build our house here.”

”Yes.” After Shang Baishi left, Shang Xiaoyin let out a soft sigh and rubbed her stomach, which was already a little big due to her pregnancy. ”I want to give birth to you, but Iʼm afraid your grandmother will find us before I give birth. If that happens, she will force me to abort you, and she will also kill your father.”

.

.

”Can you sense that, Mo Zifeng?”

Mo Zifeng nodded to Pang Gui. ”Even though those two cultivators have hidden their auras, I can still faintly sense them, and they are much stronger than the three of us.”

”You should contact our master now so he can take precautions against the two of them, or else the ordinary humans on this planet will suffer because of them.” Pang Hong, who was standing by their side, said.

Mo Zifeng gave a slight nod before sending Zhang Fei a message. ”Our master is still a little busy right now, but he will be back here soon, and he asked us not to approach those two cultivators.

After he finished absorbing the Jiashen Liquid, Zhang Xiaolong [3] immediately got out of the wooden tub and got dressed. However, Wu Lianzhi was already waiting for him in the room. ”Do you want to go somewhere else, Longʼer?”

”Yes.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] immediately told her. ”I have to go to the Hong Clan to pick up some people, and I will return to my home realm to take care of something after that.”

”Can I go with you?”

Zhang Xiaolong [3] carried the little girl straight away. ”I will take you to the home realm after this.”

”Yay!”
