Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 726: Mysterious Organization

If there is only a tower in the Tian Realm, there is only a flying island right in the middle of the Xian Realm. The island itself is not that big, but it is beautiful, with several waterfalls flowing down it, and there are so many colorful flower plants all over the area.

However, a horrific sight greeted them as soon as they landed on the flying island. The islandʼs inhabitants had all perished, their bodies had dried up, and their corpses were piled up in the middle.

The gruesome sight made Shang Xinyu, Shang Yifen, Xian Xianqin, and several other women nauseous to the point of vomiting.

”We found the answer, Zhang Fei.”

Zhang Fei [5] nodded to Oz the Second. ”Did you see their leaderʼs corpse?”

”His corpse is not among them.” Oz the Second answered with certainty. ”That guy is too resilient for a human, and he has many amazing abilities, so Iʼm sure he wonʼt die so easily. The impostor probably kidnapped him and moved him to another realm.”

Oz the Second, Ursula, Tharnon, and Zygoz then approached the pile of corpses, especially since those people were their old enemies.

”Why did the impostor kill them? Does that person no longer need them?” Zygoz wondered to himself.

Tharnon and Ursula looked disappointed to see the pile of corpses because they wanted to take revenge on those people, but they also harbored many questions about the deaths of the Xian Realmʼs inhabitants.

Hong Xinxin then spoke. ”Apparently, the enemies you face this time are not ordinary enemies, especially since they can do many things for hundreds of years without others realizing it. Judging from the way these people died, and the previous person also had the darkness element, the perpetrators are obviously related to demons.”

”Youʼre right.” Zhang Fei [5] crouched beside the pile of corpses and observed one of them. ”The perpetrator utilized a technique nearly identical to mine and Ursulaʼs, absorbing their life force completely.”

”The perpetratorʼs abilities are more vicious than mine. Not only did he absorb their life force, but he also absorbed their flesh.” Ursula said to Zhang Fei [5]. ”However, I have never met a demon with abilities similar to mine in these four realms, so he probably came from another realm.”

Zhang Fei [5] nodded in agreement. ”Whoever killed them did not come here using an avatar. Instead, he arrived here in his real body and fled as soon as the fake Throneʼs disguise became visible. However, I found it hard to understand why he killed them, especially since they were eager to attack the Diyu Realm in the past.”

”The situation in both realms made me realize something.” Zhang Fei [5] turned to Oz the Second. ”If our guess is correct that the two impostors have ties with demons, I believe their main goal in wanting to take over my Diyu Realm is the ten demon lord seeds. Unfortunately, those seeds had already chosen my predecessor back then, so they worked together to attack us. Those winged races even used the white Amaris to do something to him, but he released those seeds from his body before he was sent to another realm by the artifact, and they disappeared without a trace since then.”

”Only one of the ten demon lord seeds has appeared, and Lillea used it to give birth to Janette.” Oz the Second gave Zhang Fei [5] a nod of approval. ”If they are really after those seeds, they should still be in the Diyu Realm. Unfortunately, I still havenʼt managed to find them, even though I have searched the entire realm several times looking for them.”

”What exactly are ten demon lord seeds?” Oz the Second immediately told Shang Yumei and the others about the history of those seeds. ”Do you intend to have them, husband?”

Zhang Fei [5] first enveloped all the corpses with his aura and sent them to another realm. ”I donʼt know what effect the ten demon king seeds will have on me, but I can feel their powerful aura from Janetteʼs body. Oz the First became powerful after he ate those seeds, and I myself am a demon, so I want to get them to strengthen my demon form.”

”I have a question for you.” Zhang Fei [5] turned to Shang Xinyu. ”You have three identities, but why do I feel that you prioritize the demon identity over your other two identities?”

Observing Zhang Feiʼs confusion, Shang Yifen also asked him a question. ”Is being a demon more fun than being a human or beast?”

Zhang Fei [5] let out a sigh. ”To answer your two questions, I cannot explain in words my choice between my three identities, but you might be able to understand if you have experienced death like me. I donʼt know how long I was dead at that time, but I experienced a change in mentality after I regained consciousness and transformed into a demon. From then on, I tended to choose my demon identity, and I focused more on my demon identity than my other two identities for some time before.”

”I think I know your reason for preferring your demon identity.” Ling Long said as she dotingly hugged Zhang Fei [5]ʼs arm. ”You are a pervert by nature, so your demon identity best suits your character.”

”Hahaha!” Xian Xianqin and the others laughed at that, and they agreed with Ling Long.

”You are right; I might indeed be a pervert by nature.” Zhang Fei [5] did not deny it. ”Anyway, since the perpetrator has already left, thereʼs no reason for us to stay here any longer, and I canʼt find anything interesting here.”

After that, Zhang Fei [5] first sent Shang Yumei and five other women back to the training space before sending Hong Xinxin, Shang Xinyu, and Shang Yifen back to the Azure Sky Realm.

Zhang Fei [5] then sent Virgil and Ursula back to the Netherworld Realm, but Oz the Second and two male demons decided to join them, especially since their realm was safe now. ”Mohei, I want you to clear this island realm and try to find something hidden here.”

”Yes, Master.”

Zhang Fei [5] did not return to the elemental chamber; instead, he went to the Diyu Realm to look for the remaining nine demon lord seeds. To his surprise, he saw a black pillar soaring high into the sky as soon as he arrived in that realm, which came from the ancient demon castle.

[Master! That black pillar must have come from one of the nine demon lord seeds!]

”Damn! I checked there before but couldnʼt find the seed anywhere.” In a few seconds, Zhang Fei [5] arrived in front of the ancient demon castle, and a new notification immediately appeared in his mind.

”So itʼs true that the demon lord seed is hiding in this castle, huh? Now that I think about it, this appeared after I finished the quest in the Tian Realm and went to the Xian Realm.” As he returned to his lust demon form, Zhang Fei [5] walked into the ancient demon castle, and the black pillars did not stop him. When he arrived at the main room of the castle, he saw not just one but eight seeds floating in the middle of it. ”What a stroke of luck! I immediately found them all at once.”

Zhang Fei [5] immediately approached the nine demon lord seeds, but only one of them moved and entered his body, causing his demon energy and aura to soar.

[Ding]

[You gained 20,000,000 demon essences.]

[Master, if you absorb the other eight, your demon rank will immediately rise to Archduke Rank.]

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei [5] immediately approached the other eight seeds, but they swiftly moved away from him. He tried to catch them all, but his efforts were in vain, even with his extremely fast speed. ”I think they donʼt want me as their master.”

[Master, try summoning eight female demons by your side.]

Zhang Fei [5] immediately summoned Ilsath, Orith, Zilvora, Balena, Angela, Eve, Fyr, Leora, Ashreth, Nadea, and the Amaris Twins from the training space. Although Lillea had already found one, and Janette was born from one of the demon seeds, she still summoned them.

”What are those seeds?” Zilvora pointed at the eight demon lord seeds.

”Demon Lord Seeds!” The Amaris Twins and the female demons from the Diyu Realm exclaimed excitedly.

Since Ilsath, Orith, Zilvora, and Balena came from other demon realms, they didnʼt know anything about the ten demon lord seeds. Zhang Fei [5] immediately explained the ten demon lord seeds to the four female demons, which excited them. ”One is in Janetteʼs body, and one chose me. With only eight remaining, each of you can strive to earn their recognition. They have their own will and will only choose the worthy, so I hope those who donʼt make it wonʼt be jealous.”

”Yes!”

”Let me try it first.” The black Amaris immediately approached those seeds, but they swiftly moved away from her. ”Does this mean I failed?”

”You failed.” Zhang Fei [5]ʼs answer disappointed the Black Amaris.

After that, the white Amaris also tried to obtain one of the demon seeds, but she also failed.

”Try it, Balena.” Zhang Fei [5] somehow felt that the female whale demon would succeed in getting recognition from one of them.

Balena nodded and approached the eight demon lord seeds, and one of them immediately shot into her body. The demon aura in the seed caused her demon aura to increase rapidly, and her demon rank immediately rose to the duchess rank.

The Amaris Twins were jealous that Balena got one of the seeds, but they had to swallow their jealousy since the seeds had free will.

”I did it.” Balena said to Zhang Fei [5] with a smile.

”Congratulations.” Zhang Fei [5] then turned to the others, and they began to approach the seven demon lord seeds in turn.

Ilsath, Orith, Zilvora, Angela, Eve, and Fyr each obtained one demon lord seed. However, the last demon lord seed did not choose among the remaining female demons, which disappointed them.

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei [5] contemplated which female demon he should bring in an attempt to obtain the final seed. He then went to the Netherworld Realm and brought several female demons to the castle.

Virgil, Ursula, and Nauvia were shocked by the last demon lord seed in front of them. Unlike them, Yan Zhixiu felt confused about the seed. ”Why didnʼt you take it?”

”I got one.” Zhang Fei [5] then pointed at the others. ”Balena, Ilsath, Orith, Zilvora, Angela, Eve, and Fyr also got one. The others failed to get one, so I brought you guys here, and you can try to get the last one.”

Virgil, Ursula, and Nauvia were naturally enthusiastic to get the last demon lord seed, but it didnʼt choose them. Instead, it chose Yan Zhixiu, causing her demon aura and rank to soar significantly.

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei and the nine female demons suddenly felt something unusual from within their bodies. Soon, a black light emanated from the chests of the nine female demons, piercing his body and causing a significant increase in his demon power. ”Do you know anything about this, Lillea?”

Lillea nodded and explained to him. ”The ten demon lord seeds are actually one entity, and you already know that they have their own will. Given that they are your women, the seeds appear to have intentionally combined their power with yours, resulting in an increase in your demon power to this level. However, the effect doesnʼt seem to be permanent, and you can only use it if Janette and the others are by your side.”

”Huh?” Yan Zhixiu then looked at Zhang Fei [5]. ”Iʼm not your woman, so why did this seed choose me?”

”Hahaha! That means you are destined to become his woman, so you donʼt need to refuse and accept your fate.” Their answers left Yan Zhixiu speechless.

Zhang Fei [5] pulled Yan Zhixiu into a hug. ”They are right, Zhixiu. If you accept your fate and become my woman, Luanʼer and Zihua will be pleased.”

”I—”

”Shh.” Zhang Fei [5] stopped Yan Zhixiu. ”I know your feelings for your late partner, but he died a long time ago. You deserve new happiness, and I am capable of making you happy. So please donʼt reject me anymore and accept your fate, and I will give you much better happiness.”

Yan Zhixiu stared at Zhang Fei [5] for a while before nodding at him. ”Send me to your portable mansion so I can talk to Luanʼer first.”

”All right.” Zhang Fei [5] then sent almost all of the female demons into the training space except for Ursula and Virgil. Instead, he sent them back to the Netherworld Realm. After that, he entered the elemental chamber to continue his training.

In a dimly lit room, twelve people were sitting around a large round table, one of which was the fake throne.

”Are you sure they are cultivators from the other middle realms, Jia Wangzuo? What about their strength?” A man with short golden hair asked the man who was previously disguised as the winged race leader.

Jia Wangzuo nodded in response. ”Chung Jian, that guy is still weak, and his cultivation is still in the Earth Realm, but he has incredible speed. He also possesses the ability to create gates that connect to other realms, and the cultivation of several women by his side has surpassed the ten mortal realms, leading me to believe they are from the other middle realms or even the upper realms.”

”What is their purpose in coming to these lower realms? Are they also after the ten demon seeds?” A woman with long red hair questioned the others.

”I donʼt know whether they are after the ten demon seeds or not, but that guy is definitely a demon, and he has a good relationship with the demons of the Diyu Realm.” Jia Wangzuo then asked. ”What about Chao Ren? Has he taken care of the Xian Realm people?”

”Chao Ren is on his way back to this realm, and the Xian Realm is gone now.” The person sitting in the head seat answered Jia Wangzuo. ”Since those people already know our plans, we will postpone our plans regarding the ten demon seeds for a while. Instead, we will focus on getting the Abyssal Demon Heart, which will appear soon in the Wasteland Realm. However, we must exercise caution as the demons in that realm are significantly stronger than those in the Diyu Realm, and our strength is still insufficient to fight them.”

”Hey! Mo Zhu! How did our master learn about the ten demon seeds and the Abyssal Demon Heart?” Chung Jian suddenly asked.

Mo Zhu shook his head and rose from his seat. ”If you donʼt want to die, youʼd better not be too curious about our master, Chung Jian. He is not an ordinary demon, and he comes from the Abyssal Realm in the upper realms. His strength is extremely powerful, so we need only follow his orders without question, or else he will kill us. You guys can disband and head to the Wasteland Realm, and I will follow you once Iʼve spoken to our master.”

Following his statement, Mo Zhu swiftly vanished from the location. Chung Jian and the others also hurriedly left the place, immediately heading towards the Wasteland Realm.

In Heavenʼs Library, Jiang Yinghua and Meng Tianshi kept sighing as Zhang Fei [4] rummaged through the ancient records. His rapid reading of each document perplexed them, leading them to question his comprehension of its contents.

Unfortunately, Jiang Yinghua and Meng Tianshi were unaware of Mei and the systemʼs existence, and both of them recorded all the documents that Zhang Fei [4] had read.

Jiang Yinghua, who could no longer hold back her curiosity, immediately asked. ”Hey, Zhang Fei! What exactly is the liquid you gave us? Why do we feel aroused every time we drink it?”

”Do you really want to know about that liquid?” Zhang Fei [4] asked back as he read another ancient record.

”Yes! Please tell us!”
