Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 707: Building His Force II

Zhang Fei and the othersʼ first stop was the residence of one of the Bai Clan members, and Shang Yumei also joined them.

Han Yuanzhi immediately led them to meet Bai Zizhen, but the old man fell into a daze after seeing her new appearance, and his eyes showed interest in her.

ʼThis old fart!ʼ Han Yuanzhi immediately hugged Zhang Feiʼs arm. ”Old man! We came here to offer you something.”

Han Yuanzhiʼs words brought Bai Zizhen back to his senses, but he frowned because she was hugging Zhang Feiʼs arm so intimately. ”Before you make an offer, tell me how to recover your youth.”

”Senior Yumei helped me regain my youth.” Han Yuanzhi deliberately used Shang Yumei as a scapegoat, especially since she was sure that Bai Zizhen would not dare to say anything to her, considering their vast cultivation differences.

Shang Yumei naturally didnʼt mind it, especially since it would keep Zhang Fei out of danger.

ʼThis woman is truly powerful, and her cultivation should be several major levels above mine!ʼ Bai Zizhen then cupped his hands toward Shang Yumei. ”Did you come from the upper realms, Senior?”

”I donʼt need to explain anything to you.” Shang Yumei then hugged Zhang Feiʼs other arm. ”My husband wants to offer you something, and I donʼt want to hear your refusal.”

ʼTch! How did this kid come to be so fortunate? Han Yuanzhi liked him, and this senior even referred to him as her husband. Bai Zizhen then glanced at Ling Long, and he could immediately recognize her identity. ”What kind of an offer do you have, young master?”

Zhang Fei first took out the Linghu Clanʼs plaque and showed it to Bai Zizhen, causing his eyes to widen in shock. ”She and her three children have returned, and the Linghu Clan has joined my organization.”

”Are you serious about that?” Bai Zizhen doubtfully asked.

”If you donʼt believe me, you can ask Linghu Xiaoting and Linghu Shiwei.” Bai Zizhen immediately contacted the two people, who immediately confirmed the truth of Zhang Feiʼs words. ”Do you believe me now?”

Bai Zizhen nodded at him. ”Do you also want my clan members to join your organization?”

”Yes.” Zhang Fei promptly informed Bai Zizhen about his plans, particularly those related to the Bai Kingdom. ”Huangfu Shouʼs subordinates, Wushuang, are already in my hands. Old Wen and one of my partners are watching her and Bai Yaowei now. Before resolving the issues in this kingdom, I must settle other matters first. You have seen many items in my shop, so you should already understand that I can help your clan members improve themselves. However, I hate traitors the most, and Yumei will help me eliminate anyone who dares to betray me, including their descendants.”

ʼThis kid! How could his killing intent be this strong? Had he killed countless living beings to make his killing intent this strong?ʼ Bai Zizhen shivered when he sensed Zhang Feiʼs killing intent, which was even stronger than his. Before he answered, he first used his senses to check the Bai Royal Palace, where he found Old Wen, Huan Ya, and Wushuang in Bai Yaoweiʼs room. ”What is your relationship with Emperor Xian? How come one of his aides is with you?”

”Xian Xianqin is my wife.”

”Huh?” Bai Zizhen was shocked to hear that. He turned to Han Yuanzhi, who nodded at him.

Han Yuanzhi then told him. ”Old Man, Bai Shushi and I attended their wedding, so Zhang Fei is really the son-in-law of Emperor Xian and Empress Shi. Apart from Princess Xian, Princess Yun and Princess Zhou are also his women, and they will marry him in the future.”

”What? Is that true?” Bai Zizhen asked in shock.

”Hey! Senior Bai! We donʼt need to lie to you! I am also Zhang Feiʼs future wife, and we have been living together for some time now!” Ling Long then pointed to Shang Yumei. ”Even a powerful cultivator like Big Sis Yumei is willing to be his wife, let alone young women like me, Yun Xinyue, and Zhou Shenxin. In fact, Senior Xiong has met us before, and she has also met Concubine Jiang.”

Even so, Bai Zizhen still seemed doubtful about everything, and he contacted Xiong Ningwu to confirm it. After she gave him the answer, the old man agreed to Zhang Feiʼs offer. ”Young master, as long as you are willing to help my clan members, I will bring them into your organization, and I dare to guarantee with my life that they will never betray you.”

”You better keep your word, Old Man.” Bai Zizhen handed him the clan plaque, but Zhang Fei turned to Han Yuanzhi and inquired. ”Do you have a special place? After we visit the other clans, I want to gather them all in one place.”

Han Yuanzi nodded to Zhang Fei. ”Actually, we usually gather in one special place, and no spies can eavesdrop on us there. If you want to gather them, we can use that place to discuss everything in more detail.”

”All right, we will use that place.” Zhang Fei then spoke to Bai Zizhen again. ”Old man, you can wait for further news from me, and I will go to see Bai Shushi now.”

”Yes, Young Master.” After Zhang Fei and the others left, Bai Zizhen immediately summoned all the members of the Bai Clan under his leadership.

A while later, Zhang Fei and the others arrived at Bai Shushiʼs residence, but it was too simple for a royal member like her.

Bai Shushi was momentarily surprised by their sudden arrival, but she was curious about Han Yuanzhiʼs youthful appearance. Despite her curiosity, she didnʼt ask any questions, believing that Zhang Fei had assisted her. ”What made you come here all of a sudden?”

”I want the Bai Clan members under your leadership to join my organization.” Zhang Feiʼs response surprised Bai Shushi once again, and he immediately showed her the Linghu Clanʼs plaque. ”Linghu Yincheng has returned, and her Linghu Clan has joined me. Three other clans, including Bai Zizhenʼs clan, have also joined me.”

Bai Shushi was not surprised that Zhang Fei managed to save Linghu Yincheng, especially since Bai Tianʼer had already told her many things about him, including the abilities that he demonstrated at the Star Tower. However, she was surprised by her uncleʼs decision, especially since she knew Bai Zizhenʼs character for sure. ”Has Uncle Zizhen really agreed to join you?”

”You can contact him directly to ask for confirmation.”

Bai Shushi nodded to Zhang Fei before contacting Bai Zizhen, who told her that he was discussing it with members of the Bai Clan under his leadership. ”I am willing to accept your offer but on one condition.”

”Bai Tianʼer, right?”

”Yes.” Bai Shushi then spoke to Zhang Fei. ”My daughter has told me many things about you, including some things from when you two were at the Star Tower. Tianʼer told me why you rejected her, but I can assure you that your perceptions of her are wrong. I donʼt deny that she has taken advantage of many other men for our benefit, but she is not that kind of woman, and she did it because of the force of the situation. I didnʼt ask you to accept her straight away, but I hope you are willing to give her a chance to prove that she is different from your opinion.”

”All right, I will give Bai Tianʼer a chance to prove herself.” Zhang Fei himself had already thought carefully about Han Yuanzhiʼs previous words, so he immediately agreed to Bai Shushiʼs wishes. He then moved in front of her and gave her two pills, causing her to raise her eyebrows. ”I also have one condition for you, and you will know my condition after you swallow these two pills.”

Bai Shushi did not respond to Zhang Fei directly, but she gave him the Bai Clanʼs plaque. ”I will speak to my clan members regarding this matter, and you can use this plaque to order them.”

”I will contact you again after I talk to the other clans.” Zhang Fei then led the three women to leave Bai Shushiʼs residence, but they immediately asked him about his intentions toward her, which he openly admitted.

Bai Shushi went straight to her room and swallowed the two pills. After a few minutes, she washed off the black liquid covering her body and rubbed the mirror, her expression filled with shock and awe. She immediately realized Zhang Feiʼs one condition, which caused her to frown. ”Is he crazy? Does he really want me as his woman? What about my daughter?”

Bai Shushi ignored that and contacted Bai Tianʼer directly, informing her about her decision and Zhang Feiʼs, which made her overjoyed.

In the Bai Royal Palace, Huan Ya was sitting together with Old Wen and Wushuang, discussing the information she had gotten from Zhang Fei earlier. ”My master asked me to return to the residence today, and he handed over the affairs here to you.”

”Itʼs okay; I can handle the situation myself.” Old Wen replied while rubbing his long beard. ”I didnʼt expect Zhang Fei to act so quickly, and he has already gained the support of all the major clans in this kingdom. As long as they all unite under his banner, Hungfu Shou will no longer be able to do anything against this kingdom, and he might be able to free Bai Yaowei from his control soon.”

Huan Ya shook her head in response. ”Bai Yaoweiʼs situation is challenging, particularly because the Gu bug within his soul will explode instantly if my master attempts to remove it. The only way to free him is to wait for Li Tiannan to return to this realm, and one of my masterʼs wives can help control him.”

”Has Zhang Fei planted someone else on Huanfu Shouʼs side?”

”Du She.” Old Wen naturally knew the man, but he was confused as to why Zhang Fei sent him to Huangfu Shou. Huan Ya immediately explained to him. ”According to my master, he has already turned the man into Ruo Yanxi, and the Huangfu Emperor will not realize that his concubine is not the real one, especially since their auras are similar.”

After a moment of stunned silence, Old Wen burst into laughter. ”Hahaha! All of your teacherʼs abilities are simply absurd; he can even turn a man into a woman. I canʼt imagine what will happen next, and if Huangfu Shou discovers that the woman beside him is actually a man, he will likely die of shock.”

Beside them, Wushuang smiled strangely as she imagined Huangfu Shou having fun with a fake woman. However, her expression turned serious after she remembered Li Tiannan, who would probably have the same fate as the Huangfu Emperor. ʼDamn it! What can I do to warn Master Tiannan about them?ʼ

”Hey! You must forget about Li Tiannan, or you will suffer if my master does anything unusual to you.” Wushuang shuddered at the thought of Zhang Fei doing such absurd things to her. ”My master not only can turn a man into a woman, but he can also turn a human into a beast. You certainly donʼt want something like that to happen to you, right?”

”No!” Wushuang vigorously shook her head.

”Haha.” Huan Ya chuckled at Wushuangʼs expression. ”Therefore, you better forget your origin, and you must obey my master, even if he asks you to kill Li Tiannan.”

Wushuang clenched both fists tightly. ”I know.”

Since the Bai, Linghu, Han, and Xiong Clans had already joined him, Zhang Fei had no trouble persuading Kong Heng and Tu Shen to join them. Moreover, Shang Yumei was with them, and the two old men were clearly aware of the difference in their strengths, so they readily agreed to join him.

After the business with those clans was finished, Zhang Fei immediately brought Ling Long away to somewhere else. He asked Han Yuanzhi to prepare her clan members first, and he also told her to follow Liu Hua and Liu Qingyu to his residence later so she could join them in seclusion, which excited her.

As for Shang Yumei, she did not return to their residence, and she stayed behind in the Bai royal capital to protect Liu Hua and Liu Qingyu.

Two notifications immediately appeared in Zhang Feiʼs mind as soon as they arrived at the Black Fang Sect. Ling Long then asked him. ”Why did you bring me to this sect? Are you planning to meet Ruo Yanxi?”

”I do want to meet that woman.” Zhang Fei immediately contacted He Ya, who quickly appeared before them. ”Bring me to her.”

”Yes, Master.” He Ya immediately led them into the sect, but the disciples, including Xuan Cunhua, kept stealing glances at Zhang Fei. They still couldnʼt believe that their sect master would submit to him, but they had heard many things about him by now.

Zhang Fei spoke to He Ya. ”I want you to send some of your best disciples to the Bai Kingdom, and they will join my organization there.”

”Master, I have already sent some of them to the Huangfu Royal Palace according to your orders, so only Xuan Cunhua and Fang Qiuwen are available.” Zhang Fei immediately looked for the latter name. ”If you wish, I can immediately send them to the Bai Kingdom.”

”Send them! Tell them to meet Liu Hua or Liu Qingyu at the Sky Jade Shop in the kingdom.” He Ya immediately followed Zhang Feiʼs orders and contacted the two women, who hurriedly left the sect for the Bai Kingdom.

Before long, they arrived in front of Ruo Yanxiʼs room, and He Ya let Zhang Fei enter by himself, but Ling Long immediately followed him because she knew the woman.

”Ling Long?” Ruo Yanxi was surprised by her arrival, but she immediately turned her gaze to Zhang Fei. ”Are you the new master of this sect?”

Zhang Fei approached her and sat down in front of her, but Ling Long immediately climbed onto his lap and hugged his neck, causing Ruo Yanxi to frown. ”You are right; I am the new master of this sect. I donʼt have a problem with you, but I have a lot of problems with your husband. He Ya must have explained a few things to you, right?”

”How could you transform another woman into me? Arenʼt you afraid that my husband will find out her true identity? Since you have problems with him, you should know that he will slaughter her family if her true identity is revealed.” Zhang Fei simply smiled as he listened to Ruo Yanxiʼs questions. ”Why are you smiling? Do you want to sacrifice innocent women to achieve your ambitions?”

”I didnʼt expect there was a woman as good as you by Huangfu Shouʼs side, and you even thought about other peopleʼs fate, even though your fate was not yet clear.” Zhang Feiʼs words caused Ruo Yanxi to become tense, and she was afraid that he would do something detrimental to her. ”To be honest, the woman who stayed by your husbandʼs side was not genuine. Instead, she was Du She, the sect master of the Venomous Serpent Sect.”

”What... what are you talking about?” Ruo Yanxi was somewhere between shock and disbelief after hearing that.

”Concubine Ruo! My future husband has told you the truth.” Ruo Yanxi frowned at Ling Long as soon as she mentioned Zhang Fei as her future husband, especially since she was Huangfu Lianʼs fiancée. ”Hehe! I never loved that idiot, and I accepted him because of my grandfatherʼs request. Therefore, I never fulfilled his request to take my virginity, and I always used my technique as an excuse so he wouldnʼt touch me. As for now, I have found the man of my choice, and I will officially become Zhang Feiʼs wife when he breaks through to the Seven Divine Realms in the future. Anyway, that woman is truly Du She, especially since I witnessed his transformation into you.”

Ruo Yanxi still finds it hard to believe, but she feels helpless to do anything about it. Instead, she asked Ling Long. ”Why did you betray them? Your grandfather and the Ling Clan have always been loyal to my husband, and they are willing to die to help him fulfill his ambitions.”
