After they had waited for a few hours, Zhang Fei [5] and the others detected a flying artifact flying towards them quickly. Duan Zhao and the others immediately came out of the residence to greet the blacksmiths from the Divine Flame Realm, who would be their opponents in the competition.

In a few minutes, a luxurious red flying artifact with golden flames painted on both sides landed in front of the residence. An old man and an old woman led eight other men to descend from it, but their expressions were clearly condescending as they looked at Duan Zhao and the others.

ʼThese guys are arrogant pricks!ʼ Zhang Fei [5] inwardly muttered as he observed those people from inside the residence.

[Master, their two leaders most likely came from the upper realms, especially since their cultivation has already reached the 1-Moon Divine Fusion Realm.]

Zhang Fei [5] nodded in agreement with that. ʼFeng Yao once said that there were rarely any cultivators at the Divine Manifestation in the middle realms, and they would ascend to the upper realms after they reached that stage, so these two clearly came from the upper realms.ʼ

”Why didnʼt the young man inside come out to greet us, Old Duan?” The old woman asked Duan Zhao.

Unlike the old woman, the old man immediately released his aura to suppress Zhang Fei [5] and force him out to meet them. ”Come out now! Otherwise—Guah!”

*Bam!*

Before the old man could finish his words, his body was already smashed into the flying artifact. The sudden incident not only shocked the old woman; it also shocked the eight men who came with them.

Duan Zhao and the others could only shake their heads at the scene, especially since they knew the old manʼs character quite well. Unfortunately, the old man didnʼt know anything about Zhang Fei [5]ʼs character and actions, and he was too arrogant to want to suppress him.

”Old Yuan Kong!” The old woman immediately flew to the old manʼs side and helped him up. ”Are you okay?”

”Cough... Cough...” The old man coughed hard as he glared toward the residence. ”Iʼm fine.”

”The blacksmith union dares to be this arrogant, huh?”

The old man and the old woman frowned after hearing a womanʼs question, but their expressions changed to shock once Shang Yumei walked out from inside the residence, hugging Zhang Fei [5]ʼs arm. ʼThis womanʼs cultivation is equal to ours!ʼ

Xian Xian and the others held their breath as they looked at Shang Yumei. They knew that Zhang Fei [5] had many strong people on his side, but they did not expect that there was one who could fight back against Yuan Kong. Unlike them, Duan Zhao and Gang Zhishou had met her and Feng Yao twice, so they were no longer surprised by her sudden appearance.

Shang Yumei unexpectedly moved in front of Yuan Kong and the old woman, shocking them. ʼHer speed is incredibly fast!ʼ

Shang Yumei sent the old woman flying to the side before lifting and choking Yuan Kong by the neck. ”Do you think I will let you suppress my husband, Old Man? Your blacksmith union is indeed strong, but my Shang Clan from the Red Sun Realm is still stronger than them. Even Ji Changlan wouldnʼt dare to be arrogant in front of us, yet you dare to pompously suppress my husband.”

”Shang... Shang Clan!” Yuan Kong and the old woman were completely shocked to hear that.

The old woman immediately stood up, walked to their side, and cupped her hands to Shang Yumei. ”Young Miss Shang, Old Yuan was indeed rash, but he did not cause any harm to your husband, so I beg you to let him go.”

”Why donʼt you beg my husband? If he wants to spare this old man, I will let him go. If he doesnʼt agree, I will kill him right here and now.” Shang Yumei indifferently spoke.

The old woman turned to Zhang Fei [5], but he spoke first. ”Usually, I will never spare anyone who dares to pressure me, but your arrival in this realm is important to Senior Duan and the others. Therefore, I will spare this old man once, but I will not spare him just like that, and he must accept a little punishment from me. If any of you object to it, this realm will become a grave for all of you.”

”Arenʼt you going too far, Young Master?” The old woman frowned as she posed this question. ”We are afraid of the Shang Clan, but we can still kill you two right now, and we will meet them to take responsibility for it after we return.”

”Are you sure about that, old woman?”

As soon as Zhang Fei [5] released his killing intent, the old woman staggered backward, and her body trembled tremendously. Even Yuan Kong and the other eight men looked so shocked when they sensed his killing intent.

ʼThis kid! His killing intent is too suffocating, even though he didnʼt use it on us!ʼ Ah Hu and the others screamed in their hearts as they wiped their sweat.

”Do you still think I need to rely on others to finish all of you off?” Zhang Fei [5] suddenly received a long-distance message.

Yuan Kongʼs and the old womanʼs eyes widened when Zhang Fei [5] opened a gate, and the two of them grew even more frightened once Hong Xinxin and Mai Xiaomeng walked out of it. After all, their cultivation was several major stages above them, which greatly shocked them.

Zhang Fei [5] frowned when he saw Mai Xiaomeng. ”Why did you bring her here, Xinxin? Is Murong Qianyingʼs business finished?”

Mai Xiaomengʼs lips curled upwards hearing that, but she did not immediately respond to Zhang Fei [5]. Instead, she paid attention to the people from the blacksmith union, especially Yuan Kong, who was still in Shang Yumeiʼs grip. ʼThese idiots! They donʼt know with whom theyʼre dealing!ʼ

”I didnʼt want to bring Xiaomeng to this realm, but she insisted on coming with me because she wanted to meet you. Sister Qianying and her Murong Clan have moved not far from my Hong Clan, and they are arranging their new residence now.” Yuan Kong and the old woman were even more frightened when they heard the two clans from Hong Xinxinʼs mouth, and they tensed up when she looked at them. ”Hmm? You two are Ji Changlanʼs subordinates, right? I didnʼt expect old people like you two to be so stupid and idiotic! You guys even dare to pressure and threaten my future husband! Even Old Ji wouldnʼt dare say anything to us if you all die here today.”

*Thud!*

The old woman fell to her knees and begged Hong Xinxin directly. ”Please forgive us, Young Miss Hong. We... we didnʼt know that this young man was your future husband.”

”Even if he wasnʼt my future husband, do you think you two can be arrogant and oppress the younger generation? You guys are senior cultivators, and you are already so old, but your behavior is so embarrassing.” Hong Xinxin scolded the old woman instead, and she then spoke to Zhang Fei [5]. ”You can kill them if you want, and I will take care of the higher-ups of the blacksmith union later.”

The faces of the old woman, Yuan Kong, and the eight men turned deathly pale as soon as Hong Xinxin said that.

”Old Duan and the others still have to compete with them, and they havenʼt done anything excessive to me, so I wonʼt kill them.” Zhang Fei [5] looked at Shang Yumei, who immediately brought Yuan Kong before him. ”However, I still want to teach this foolish old man a little lesson, and I hope he wonʼt dare to be arrogant again in the future.”

*Vomit*

”Guah!” As Zhang Fei [5] punched his abdomen, Yuan Kong screamed in pain and bent forward, spitting out a large amount of blood from his mouth. ”Cough... Cough...”

Not only was the old woman relieved that Zhang Fei [5] did not kill them, but Duan Zhao was also relieved with his decision, especially since it would affect their reputation in the blacksmith union if they died in their realm.

”This is just a small lesson from me, Old Man. You should remember this pain for the rest of your life and stop being arrogant, or I will really kill you the next time we meet.” Zhang Fei [5] then turned to Duan Zhao. ”Senior Duan, let them rest first, and I will come back tomorrow.”

”All right, we will wait for you tomorrow.” Duan Zhao replied with a nod.

After that, Zhang Fei [5] brought Hong Xinxin, Shang Yumei, and Mai Xiaomeng to leave the place, relieving the old woman and the others.

”You guys can take them to rest.” Gang Zhishou and the other three immediately followed their masterʼs orders and led the eight men to their rooms, but they were still frightened by Zhang Fei [5]ʼs actions just now. Duan Zhao then spoke to the two. ”Old Yuan! Old Li Yanzhi! You two are really lucky that he didnʼt kill you. Heʼs still young, but heʼs far more terrifying than all the senior cultivators, and heʼs far crueler than you can imagine.”

Li Yanzhi helped Yuan Kong to his feet as she asked. ”Who exactly is that young man, Old Duan? How could he have relations with the big clans of the upper realms? The Shang, Murong, and Hong clans are powerful, and they have quite a large influence in the upper realms.”

”To be honest, I have no knowledge of Zhang Fei [5]ʼs true origins, and all I know is that he came from another realm.” Li Yanzhi and Yuan Kong looked distrustful of Duan Zhao. ”He arrived in this realm more than four months ago, and he met one of my disciples to buy forging materials. He had interest and talent in blacksmithing, so my disciple taught him to forge weapons. He had only been a blacksmith for less than three months, but he had already succeeded in forging a spirit-grade weapon perfectly, and he had begun to learn to forge an earth-grade weapon.”

”Are you kidding me? How could he do it so fast?” Li Yanzhi inquired with a look of incredulity.

Duan Zhao shook his head at her. ”Do I need to lie to you? At first, I never suspected this, but I suspected that he had a relationship with a blacksmith from the upper realms, especially after I learned about his relationship with the people there.”

”Since he had a relationship with the three powerful clans of the Red Sun Realm, I think he might also have a relationship with the Tie Clan, especially since they are one of the best blacksmith clans in the upper realms.” Yuan Kong said with a gloomy expression, as he still did not expect that he would meet a terrifying young man.

Li Yanzhi turned to her friend in surprise. ”Are you sure about that?”

”Yes.” Yuan Kong nodded in response. ”Tie Gong and his Tie Clan also live in the Red Sun Realm, so I think like that. They are the fifth rank among all blacksmith clans in the upper realms, and only the Xiong, Guan, Ou, and Jiao clans can beat them at blacksmithing.”

”If you two still doubt me, you can witness his forging skills for yourself tomorrow, and you will surely understand the difference between him and the blacksmiths from the Divine Flame Realms.” Duan Zhao then led the two to rest, especially since the incident just now was too stressful for everyone.

Elsewhere, Zhang Fei [5] directly asked Mai Xiaomeng. ”Why do you want to see me?”

”Hehe.” Mai Xiaomeng chuckled and walked around Zhang Fei [5] as her fingers traced his body, causing him to frown. ”I have two interesting pieces of information about the Shang Clan, and you will be interested in hearing them. However, I will not give them away for free, and you must give me something in return.”

Zhang Fei [5] used a bit of his aura to push Mai Xiaomeng back. ”You can tell me everything first, and I will give you something in return if they are useful to me.”

”First, Shang Ziyuan was on her way to the lower realms to look for Shang Baishi and Shang Xiaoyin, and she left there a month ago.” Zhang Fei [5] was a little surprised to hear that from Mai Xiaomeng. He himself did not know the two peopleʼs destination after they left the Wasteland Realm, but he did not expect that they would go to the lower realms. ”Second, Shang Huaqiang suspected that Princess Feng Yao kidnapped Cheng Gaoji, and he decided to send Wang Xinlei and Dai Ziwei to the Sky Jade Realm to check on the situation. Since the two of them were not members of the Shang Clan, he thought that she wouldnʼt know their identities. Do you think these two pieces of information are useful to you?”

Zhang Fei [5] nodded in understanding before speaking. ”To be honest, Iʼve already taken action against Shang Xiaoyin and Shang Baishi, forcing them to flee from the Wasteland Realm. If I want, I can kill them whenever I want, so your information about them is useless to me.”

Mai Xiaomeng was surprised to hear that. ”What did you do to them?”

”I initiated the relationship between them, and Shang Xiaoyin should be pregnant with Shang Baishiʼs child now.” Zhang Fei [5]ʼs answer caused Mai Xiaomengʼs jaw to drop, but he then gave her two bottles of pills. ”Even so, itʼs still of little use to me, especially regarding Shang Ziyuan. The second piece of information is useful to me, so I can ask Feng Jinqiu to capture Wang Xinlei and Dai Ziwei once they arrive in the Sky Jade Realm, and I can formulate a new plan against Shang Huaqiang by using them.”

”Feng Jinqiu?”

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei [5] nodded at Mai Xiaomeng. ”Feng Yao is in seclusion in this realm now, and Feng Jinqiu is taking her place to protect the Sky Jade Realm. Currently, Cheng Gaoji is in her hands, and she is locking him up somewhere in that realm.”

”Oh.” Mai Xiaomeng then opened both bottles of pills before looking at him in shock. ”Are you the one who concocted these pills?”

”Isnʼt that obvious?” Zhang Fei [5] then opened the portal. ”You should return to the Red Sun Realm now, or your presence will make the people in this realm restless.”

Mai Xiaomeng pouted her lips as she closed the bottles, but she did not argue with Zhang Fei [5] and directly entered the gate.

”I will also return to my clan, or Sister Qianying will be suspicious if she canʼt find me there.” After she said that, Hong Xinxin followed Mai Xiaomeng and disappeared into the gate.

After Zhang Fei [5] had closed the gate, Shang Yumei questioned him. ”What are your plans for Wang Xinlei and Dai Ziwei? They are the second and third young masters of the Wang and Dai clans, which support Shang Huaqiang, but those two brats are useless to you.”

”Whether they are useful or not, we will see later, and I will ask Feng Jinqiu to capture them first.” Zhang Fei [5] then contacted the ice phoenix using an interspatial communication device, informing her about Wang Xinlei and Dai Ziwei. ”If they are not useful directly, I can make them useful indirectly, and Shang Huaqiang will definitely suffer because of it.”

Seeing the evil smile on Zhang Fei [5]ʼs face, Shang Yumei could already guess that he had planned something truly evil against Wang Xinlei and Dai Ziwei. ”Send me back to the training space, and I will start training at the level three gravity feature.”

”All right.” After he sent Shang Yumei into the training space, Zhang Fei [5] immediately went somewhere else.
