Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 548: Ximen Changtian

”Emperor!” A male demon shouted as he walked into the dim throne room. ”I just received news that your brother sent his subordinates to the Star Tower to help Zhou Xiaochuanʼs children, and their numbers are not small.”

On the throne, a middle-aged man with red hair down to his back stared at the male demon with his narrow red eyes. A black mask covered half of his face, and a black grand robe covered his entire body. Behind him, a large sword with a blade as red as blood floated by itself.

The middle-aged man is Ximen Changtian, the Emperor of the Ximen Kingdom. ”Do you think Gongfu intends to have a big war with those humans, Mo Tian?”

”Iʼm not sure about his intentions, Emperor.” Mo Tian answered by shaking his head. ”However, he sent some bloodthirsty demons there, and he also sent those former humans with them.”

”I see.” Ximen Changtian nodded in understanding before giving the order. ”Go to Hongwuʼs place and order him to lead some demons to the tower, but tell him not to clash directly with humans, let alone those beasts and natural races. His main task is to complete the challenges on the first floor, or I will lock him up again if he fails to get past them.”

”Yes, Emperor.” Mo Tian then asked. ”Are you also going to send Princess Ximen Yueliang there? Her cultivation has just broken through to the 1-Moon Divine Transcend, so she should be ready to challenge the tower.”

Ximen Changtian thought for a moment before agreeing. ”All right, go to my daughter and ask her to go to the tower. I want you to order those two old demons to accompany her. If something terrible happens to my daughter, Iʼll execute them.”

Mo Tian nodded and immediately left the throne room, but a woman with dark red hair suddenly appeared beside Ximen Changtian. A tight black dress wrapped her curvy body, highlighting her massive breasts and wide hips. ”Why did you send Yueliang to the tower, husband? You should remember that your brother was after our daughter, right?”

”Nu Huangjin, I understand your concern for our daughter, but we cannot let her continue to stay in her room.” Ximen Changtian then pulled his wife onto his lap. ”Her cultivation has already been broken through to the divine transcend, but she has no fighting experience whatsoever, so she wonʼt be able to protect herself. Thatʼs why I want her to try challenging the tower, and I believe she can get better results than our son.”

Nu Huangjin nodded in agreement, but she was still worried about letting her daughter go to the tower. ”In that case, I will also go there so I can protect our daughter, but I will only move if she faces great danger.”

”All right.” Ximen Changtian immediately agreed to his wifeʼs wishes, especially since he knew that she would not listen to him even if he forbade her from leaving. ”Your cultivation has indeed reached the 4-Moon Divine Expansion now, but you still have to avoid the elders of the natural races, or they will surround and gang up on you.”

”I know.” Nu Huangjin immediately disappeared from her husbandʼs sight.

Ximen Changtian then leaned back on the throne and closed his eyes, but his expression kept changing as he thought of something. Before long, he let out a heavy sigh and disappeared from the throne room, but no one knew his destination.

Like their parents, Ximen Hongwu and Ximen Yueliang have red hair, but the princessʼs hair is darker and naturally hangs down her waist.

Although Ximen Yueliang is quite old, her face still looks childish, and her appearance in a tight red dress is quite adorable. Her red eyes are pretty big, with sharp eyebrows above them, quite a sharp nose, and slightly thin lips. Her figure is no less sexy than her motherʼs, with E-cup breasts, a beautifully curved waist, and two perky buttocks behind her hips.

”Why did our father suddenly ask me to go to the tower, Uncle Mo?” Ximen Yueliang sighed after Mo Tian immediately explained the reason. ”All right, I will go there, and I will not fail like my brother.”

”Hey, Yueliang! You are too confident in yourself!” Ximen Hongwu spoke in a tone that was filled with irritation. ”You have never challenged the tower, and I can tell you that those challenges are really not easy, especially the battle challenge.”

”Humph.” Ximen Yueliang snorted softly. ”I have never challenged the tower, but our mother has often told me about those challenges, so I already understand them. As for the battle challenge, I have high luck, so Iʼm sure I wonʼt have any trouble passing it.”

”Itʼs up to you then.” Ximen Hongwu immediately led several selected demons to board their flying artifacts.

Two old demons suddenly appeared behind Ximen Yueliang. ”Letʼs go, Princess. Your father ordered us to escort and protect you.”

”Yes.”

After they left, Nu Huangjin immediately followed behind them, but she repeatedly looked in another direction, specifically toward the dark demon kingdom.

In the restaurant, Zhu Yan, who was cooking in the kitchen, raised her eyebrows slightly when a waitress informed her that two female guests wanted to talk to her. She had long been aware of them because they had been coming over the past week, but they had not said anything before and had only enjoyed the dishes.

Zhu Yan decided to meet the two women, Dan Qingying and Gu Hanshuang. ”What can I do for you two?”

”Miss, can we meet the owner of this restaurant?” Zhu Yan was surprised by Qingyingʼs question.

Gu Hanshuang joined in. ”We always come here to look for him, but he never shows up, so we have to ask you. We have something to discuss with him, so I hope you are willing to help us contact him.”

ʼWho exactly are these two women? Why do they want to meet Zhang Fei? Has he done anything to them?ʼ Zhu Yan silently pondered as she watched the two women. ”Honestly, I donʼt know where he is now, and I canʼt contact him either. If you two want to talk to him, then you guys should wait for him to come by himself, but I canʼt be sure when he will come.”

Both women were disappointed with Zhu Yanʼs answer, especially since Zhang Feiʼs figure kept popping up in their minds ever since he used his enhanced demon charm on them. The effect made it difficult for them to concentrate on anything else, and they couldnʼt wait to meet him, eager to discover why he had done something to them.

Zhang Fei himself had already realized that they would try to look for him, but he deliberately did not meet them, and he waited for them to fall deeper under the influence of his charm.

Zhu Yan abruptly raised her eyebrows upon receiving a voice transmission, carefully listening to it before speaking to the two women. ”He just contacted me, and Iʼve already told him that you guys are looking for him. However, heʼs still busy with other things, so he canʼt meet you guys for now, but he will meet you guys in a few days.”

”Really?” Zhu Yan nodded to the two women. ”In that case, please tell him to meet us in Shaoyun City because our sect is in that city. We have been gone for too long, so we have to return today.”

”All right, Iʼll tell him about it.”

Shortly after the two women left, Feltia [2] appeared before Zhu Yan, causing her to frown. ”Youʼre playing with them on purpose, huh?”

”Haha.” Feltia [2] laughed and nodded to Zhu Yan. ”They are Huangfu Lianʼs women, and I want to use them to do something about that shitty prince. He snatched the sea dragon bracelet that Linʼer likes, and his father has also started targeting me.”

Zhu Yan inwardly sighed. ”We havenʼt lived in this realm for long, but youʼve already attracted so much trouble. Your affairs with the alchemy union are still not settled, but you have started to have problems with the Huangfu Kingdom.”

”Hey, I never looked for trouble with them, but they looked for trouble with me. Since they are too strong for me at the moment, I must resort to underhanded methods to deal with them, and I am willing to use any means necessary.” Feltia [2] then looked outside. ”Anyway, Iʼm going to meet someone now, and you can contact me if you need additional stock for this restaurant.”

After Feltia [2] disappeared, Zhu Yan immediately returned to the kitchen, especially since the diners were starting to arrive.

A while later, Feltia [2] arrived inside a room, surprising Huan Ya, who was cultivating inside. ”Why did you suddenly come here?”

Feltia[2] then threw a bottle, which Huan Ya immediately caught. ”I want you to go to Hexie City and use that liquid on Lian Jinshuʼs family.”

”What exactly are you going to do to them?” Huan Ya asked with a frown. ”Yong Zhengjun is protecting them, and he is stronger than me, so thereʼs no way I can do it.”

”Even though Yong Zhengjun is stronger than you, your charm technique should work on him, right? Moreover, you still have your temptation domain, so itʼs not a big problem for you, right?” Huan Ya didnʼt deny Feltia[2]ʼs words, but she was afraid that her senior would catch her in the act, and she would die if that happened. ”Hey! Youʼre still useful to me, so I wonʼt let you die.”

Even though he had seen Feltia[2]ʼs abilities and he could also defeat her in actual combat, Huan Ya still doubted that he could protect her from Yong Zhengjun and the alchemy union.

Feltia [2] shook his head before explaining. ”The liquid wonʼt kill them, but it will gradually turn them into something else, so you donʼt have to worry about Yong Zhengjun or that the organization will find out about your actions.”

”What do you mean by turning them into something else?” Huan Ya asked with a serious look.

Feltia [2] instantly transformed into his lust demon lord, causing Huan Ya to shiver. He then approached her and lifted her chin. ”You should already know the effects, right? They will slowly turn into demons like me so that they wonʼt suspect you, and they will think that those demons did something to them.”

”You... you are really crazy.” Huan Ya said that with a trembling voice. If you do that to them, the alchemy unionʼs higher-ups will come here, and youʼll be in big trouble if they discover your identity.”

”Hehe.” Feltia [2] chuckled at that. ”Not many people in this realm know my demon identity, and Iʼm sure they wonʼt say anything to the higher-ups of the alchemy union. Moreover, you canʼt sense my demon aura when I use my human form, so they will never know that I am a demon.”

Huan Ya just remembered about that. She couldnʼt sense Feltia [2]ʼs demon aura during their previous battle, but she could sense it after he transformed into a demon. She then let out a soft sigh before nodding in agreement. ”All right, I will follow your orders, but I will wait for the right time, lest Yong Zhengjun discover my actions and kill me.”

”Thatʼs good.” Feltia [2] then returned to her human form and took out a bottle before handing it to Huan Ya. ”I heard from Situ Yi that you accepted Lian Jinshuʼs order because of the superior-grade pure essence golden pill.”

”Situ Yi?” Huan Ya was surprised to hear that name from Feltia [2]ʼs mouth. ”Have you done anything to him?”

Feltia [2] nodded to Huan Ya. ”Unlike you, Situ Yi is my slave, and I changed a little of his memories, so he is completely loyal to me now. Thatʼs why I was aware of the old manʼs plan and had already prepared myself to deal with you before you approached me.”

ʼTch! I didnʼt expect that I had already walked into his trap from the start, and Lian Jinshu didnʼt realize it either.ʼ Huan Ya then received the bottles, opened one, and was shocked by the grade of pills inside. ”How can you have so many superior-grade pills?”

”Haha.” Feltia [2] laughed. ”Do you think Lian Jinshu would target me and my wife if we were ordinary alchemists? These pills are my wifeʼs concoctions, and I originally planned to open an alchemy shop in this capital. Unfortunately, I didnʼt expect the situation to become complicated with the alchemy union here, and that shitty old man directly targeted us. Anyway, these pills are just basic pills, but they can help you improve your cultivation foundation, and I will give you better pills if you succeed in your task, which can help you break through to the seven divine realms.”

”Can you really help me break through that stage?” Huan Ya asked with a look full of hope, especially since her cultivation had been stuck in the quasi-divine realm for too long, so she was really eager to break through.

Feltia [2] unexpectedly kissed Huan Yaʼs lips, causing her eyes to widen instantly. However, he only kissed her for a brief moment and spoke to her. ”I can even defeat you despite the huge difference in our cultivation, remember? Not only can I help you break through to that stage, but I can teach you many other things, and you will become stronger than Yong Zhengjun. If you help me in all my missions, I can even help you surpass Lian Jinshu or Cheng Feng. Thatʼs why you should do your job well and use the liquid on that old manʼs family, and you will like my next gifts.”

Following his statement, Feltia [2] swiftly vanished from the room, and Huan Ya briefly rubbed her lips before swallowing the first pill. After that, she continued to swallow the pills one by one until none remained, and her expression was filled with delight as she experienced their effects. ʼSigh! The effect of his pills is impressive, and I can feel that my meridians, dantian, and soul are much stronger; even my Qi absorption is faster than usual.ʼ

After thinking things through, Huan Ya hurriedly got out of bed and left her room. She then went to Hexie City to carry out Feltia [2]ʼs order.

”What are you thinking about, Zhang Fei? Why are you daydreaming here?” Xian Xianqin asked as she stood beside him.

”I was just enjoying the scenery below while thinking about some things.” Zhang Fei then turned to Xian Xianqin. ”Why donʼt you join the others, Princess?”

”They were playing around, and I wasnʼt interested in their games, so I came here.” Xian Xianqin then asked him again. ”How confident are you about completing those challenges? Are you sure you can get through them all?”

”No.” Zhang Fei let out a heavy sigh in reply. ”I donʼt think too much about the other challenges, but the heart demon and sin challenges weigh heavily on my mind.”

”Do you have a heavy burden in your heart?”

”Is there anyone who doesnʼt have a heavy burden in their heart?” Xiao Xianqin shook her head at Zhang Fei. ”I donʼt know what will appear before me when I undergo the demon heart challenge, but I will still face it. Moreover, I am a lustful person, and the other six emotions are also deeply attached to my heart. Besides, I killed too many living beings, and the heavens dropped two lightning tribulations on me, so Iʼm not sure I can pass the sin challenge.”

Xian Xianqin suddenly grabbed Zhang Feiʼs hand and held it. ”I donʼt know about your past, but I know that you are not a bad guy. Otherwise, those women wouldnʼt be willing to stay by your side. The demon heart and sin challenges might be very difficult for you, but Iʼm sure you can get through both of them.”

”I hope so.” Zhang Fei then turned to Xian Xianqin. ”Your demon heart will remain the same as before, but you must never forget my words. As long as Qian Ying is still alive, you still have a chance to save her, so you should release that burden from your heart and overcome your challenge.

Xian Xianqin smiled sweetly after hearing that. ”Donʼt worry, I will definitely pass my head demon challenge this time.”
