Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 87: Boitata

After climbing for about three hours, Zhang Fei and his women arrived at the top of Blazing Mountain, but they were not the first to arrive, as the Hai Twins arrived first.

But the Hai Twins were shocked when they saw Zhang Feiʼs group, because they didnʼt look exhausted at all, and their Qi wasnʼt depleted.

But alas, they didnʼt know that Zhang Feiʼs group had each swallowed three Qi Recovery Pills, so they didnʼt feel exhausted, as they could move freely using their Qi protection.

Zhang Fei glanced at them briefly, then he, Liu Hua, and the Wen twins walked to the edge of Blazing Volcanoʼs crater.

Liu Hua then asked. ”Are we going down now, Fei?”

”No.” Zhang Fei shook his head at her, and his eyes continued to stare into the crater.

With his Divine Senses, Zhang Feiʼs eyesight became five times sharper than Liu Huaʼs and the others, so he could see the figure of a humongous creature sleeping in the crater and the Fire Yang Flower, which was almost in full bloom not far from the creature.

”Fuck!” Zhang Fei cursed as soon as he recognized the creature. ʼScan the creature, Mei!ʼ

Zhang Feiʼs expression became very ugly as soon as he read that; he didnʼt expect to meet a divine beast so soon. Moreover, the Boitata also had fire and water elements, and its size was humongous. ʼThis divine beast is troublesome; Iʼm afraid that it will become aggressive and attack them later.ʼ

”Did you see anything, Feiʼer?” Liu Hua asked curiously because Zhang Feiʼs expression suddenly became ugly.

However, Liu Hua was also in shock, as she couldnʼt see anything from the edge of the crater, but Zhang Fei could see that far.

”En.” Zhang Fei nodded at her; he then took a deep breath and spoke quietly. ”The creature in the crater is a divine beast, and its body size is humongous; moreover, it is also the possessor of fire and water elements.”

”What!?” Liu Hua and the Wen Twins exclaimed in shock, but Zhang Fei hastily told them to shut their mouths, as he didnʼt want the Hai Twins to eavesdrop on them.

---

But their screams of shock were already heard by the Hai twins, and they looked at Zhang Feiʼs group with curiosity and suspicion, then Hai Dongyin spoke to her twins. ”It seems that young man knows something that we donʼt know, Dongxin.”

”En, I agree with you, Dongyin.” Hai Dongxin said with a nod as her eyes continued to stare at Zhang Fei curiously. ”It seems that their leader is that young man; even Liu Hua looks so obedient to him.”

”Even though his cultivation is only at the 1 Star Foundation Realm, we really canʼt underestimate that young man.” Hai Dongyin said as she also continued to observe Zhang Feiʼs group.

Hai Dongxin nodded in agreement. ”We have to pay attention to that young manʼs movements; I have a hunch that he is the key to the seizure of the Fire Yang Flower.”

”Sigh, we better recover our qi first.” Hai Dongyin let out a low sigh and closed her eyes.

---

”Are you sure that the creature inside is a divine beast, Fei?” Liu Hua asked quietly. It was obvious that she was still shocked by Zhang Feiʼs words; even the Wen Twins were the same as her.

”Itʼs true, Huaʼer. That divine beast is a dragon serpent called Boitata.” Zhang Fei then turned his head into the crater and spoke again. ”Anyway, I want the three of you to protect Chu Qing and the others, and let me take care of the divine beast.”

Liu Hua immediately grabbed Zhang Feiʼs hand. ”But-”

”Trust me, okay?” Zhang Fei smiled at her, then caressed Liu Huaʼs cheek and softly spoke. ”Did you forget how I got rid of Pang Hong back then?”

”Sigh, all right then, we will protect them.” Liu Hua immediately agreed, as she still remembered that Zhang Fei could control the beasts back then, but this time the enemy was a divine beast, and it made her worry about his safety. ”But you also have to be careful of Zhang Lingxue and the others, okay?”

”Donʼt worry, okay? Even though Iʼm not as strong as Zhang Lingxue, I still have my teleportation ability as well as everything else.” Zhang Fei said with a smile, as he continued to caress Liu Huaʼs cheek. ”Now letʼs take a break because the Fire Yang Flower hasnʼt fully bloomed yet.”

Liu Hua and the Wen Twins nodded in agreement, then they returned to where Chu Qing and the others were to rest, while they waited for the Fire Yang Flower to fully bloom.

Before long, Zhang Lingxueʼs entourage and the Desolate Sect had also arrived at the peak of Blazing Volcano, and what was most surprising was that Gu Zhan and his fellow disciples also arrived shortly after them.

Gu Zhan kept glancing at Zhang Fei and Liu Hua with hostility, but they didnʼt dare to approach Zhang Feiʼs group, and they rested in a place some distance away from them.

Zhang Lingxue and her disciples also took a break not far from Zhang Feiʼs group; she then warned Chang Wenhao, who kept a lustful gaze on the women. ”Iʼm warning you again, Wenhao. Stop what youʼre doing, and get your bad idea out of your mind. If Liu Hua knows about your bad idea, then she will kill you, and I wonʼt save you from her.”

”Yes, Master.” Chang Wenhao replied quietly, then lowered his head as he inwardly cursed. ʼTsk, damn woman! Who do you think you are to dare to rule over me? I will definitely report you to my father later.ʼ

Chang Wenji, who was affected by the effects of his Demon Charm, continued to stare restlessly at Zhang Fei, who was meditating, and she tried hard to restrain herself from the strong urge rising from within her. ʼWhat really happened to me? Why is my inner urge to get closer to him getting stronger? He is indeed very handsome and dashing, but he is too weak.

People will surely laugh at me if I take the first step to approaching a weak man like him.ʼ

After she felt restless for a while, Chang Wenji then stood up from her seat and immediately walked towards Zhang Fei.

Zhang Lingxue raised her eyebrows at Chang Wenjieʼs strange behavior. She didnʼt know what her disciple wanted to do with Zhang Feiʼs group, but she knew that she wouldnʼt do anything bad like her big brother.

Chang Wenhao frowned at his little sisterʼs behavior. He wanted to follow Chang Wenjie, but Zhang Lingxue immediately stopped him by glaring at him, which made him grit his teeth in anger.

Zhang Fei immediately opened his eyes when Chang Wenjie arrived in front of him, and he looked at her as he laughed inwardly, because the effect of the demon charm was very strong on her.

Liu Hua and the other women also opened their eyes, and they were surprised by Chang Wenjieʼs arrival. But the next second, their eyes immediately widened at her action.

Without saying anything, Chang Wenjie sat in front of Zhang Fei and kissed his lips directly.

Zhang Fei laughed contentedly in his heart. He happily returned Chang Wenjieʼs kiss, and they kissed passionately.

Zhang Lingxue and Chang Wenhaoʼs eyes widened at her actions, and their mouths fell open. They were truly shocked to see Chang Wenjie take the first step to kiss Zhang Fei.

After kissing passionately for quite a while, Chang Wenjie parted their lips, then looked at Zhang Fei with hazy eyes and spoke with a bashful expression. ”It was my first kiss, so you have to be responsible for me.”
